I believe that if this will happen it will make the gap between top 5 guilds and everyone else even bigger because only a few guilds could afford the out-of-raid coaching and tech staff. Furthermore even if the person that is relegated to be the raid leader for the tier says he doesn't mind it I still think its kind of a shame they are not actually playing the game that they love.
Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to take anything away from Limit, they have played at an incredible level for the entire tier and their WF is well deserved.
I just want to have a discussion about how this will influence the future of the game because I guess it can turn out to be a good thing. A lot of guilds will get sponsors following the succes Complexity had with Limit, and all these guilds will get external raid leaders and support which will evolve into a race where we will have 15-20 guilds that are all with very high chances of winning the WF. However I think this is very unlikely.
So what do you guys think?

I'm basing this question on the beliefs of my former church. So basically:
- They believe that the end times will come when the gospel is preached to everyone as per Matthew 24:14.
- They believe that god wants people to know him and have a relationship with him.
- They believe that it's the Holy Spirit that convinces and converts people, not our arguments (as in John 16:8).
- God (in "less glorified form") appeared and convinced a lot of people in the bible, the most notable example being Paul.
So if God wants us to know him, and us knowing him is a requirement for the end of suffering in the world, and he actually can appear and can convince anyone, why would he not do so? The end times would've happened already, probably everyone would believe in God (provided God does know what would convince any person), and suffering would have ceased to exist years ago. Why would god choose the less efficient method, and in the process let a lot of people suffer?
Of course your brand of Christianity may not actually believe the same things as my former church, but the question still stands: If God wanted us to all know him and have a relationship with him, why use the worse method achieve it?
I've been given the oppotunity to preach in a few weeks. I've only preached a few times before and each time it has been as part of a regular series, so the passage has been given to me. This time I've been given the freedom to choose for myself. Any advice on choosing a passage?

Does an idea like this detract from the heart and history of raiding in WoW, or could it make it more interesting as an "esport" event? Maybe something like this can open up competition for the race, or maybe it kills the fun behind the race entirely? World first raiding as an esport is at least an interesting discussion and I would love to hear peoples thoughts on the topic and possible futures it may have.
Fellow ex vegan here. I quit veganism for 3 years as of July 2018 and it's been the single best thing that's been for my health. Being a vegan caused SO many issue that I tried to work around but just couldn't after time. I first went vegan to mask my eating disorder then realized vegansim was destroying my health. I lost my hair, period, my skin was TERRIBLE, my hair was dry and brittle, anxiety through the roof, never could sleep, constantly bloated, always hungry, and social situations were so hard. Honestly I really didn't care too much for the animals it was mainly for health so I'll be the first to admit that yes, I didn't really go vegan for any ethical reasons what so ever. With that being said- incorporating meat and eggs into my diet (not dairy bc of lactose intolerance) has been incredible. My health has been restored and I no longer have disordered eating thoughts. I no longer eat so much that my stomach feels like I am going to burst. I no longer have chronic hunger and gas.
Ever since Bonny Rebecca made her "why I'm no longer vegan video" it has gotten a whiplash of hate on it. These vegans who think they are so compassionate and loving are hating on a fellow human who has decided to take care of her health. Bonny tried to make veganism work, if people have watched the video all the way through she doesn't blame veganism nor does she quit when things first began to get hard. She spent thousands of dollars trying to make it work. Many forms of veganism too that just didn't fit her body. I am with her. I too had tried going raw, partially raw, raw till 4, keto vegan, high fat vegan, no starch vegan, no fruit vegan, no carbs vegan, no soy vegan, and just about every form of veganism there was to try. None of it worked in the end...
The thing that gets me extremely heated is all of the vegan YouTubers saying that Bonny is just using "ex vegan" as a click bait title. Well just a little news flash- when they make videos "responding to ex vegans" they are also using click bait title. Personally, Bonny's video made me feel less alone with my choice to quit veganism for myself and others agree. After these vegans get called out for attacking other ex vegans they quickly say "this video isn't meant to offend someone, but it's just for all those who have quit veganism". Like no you are clearly attacking just Bonny because after she posted her quitting video, all of the sudden these vegans made videos 'responding' to her. Maybe it's becau

I've seen media, schools and general public preach about "being special" and they encourage everyone to "be themselves" and "be individual." But from what I've observed, that's more bark than bite. They don't want people to be "special". That's just fact.
Teachers want students to be complacent, uniform and silent. Bosses want their workers to be complacent, uniform and obedient. But that's normal. But the general public? You go outside and you're immediately judged for how you look, talk, walk, act and do. Then they insult You, criticise You, and belittle you for not following their viewpoint.
The world, people, do not see other people as human. Think about how many people yell at employees or workers. No matter if they're a customer, an employee or a boss. They don't see them as people, they see them as puppets. Do as your told or be yelled at, punished or have your lives ruined because you have your own opinions, views and beliefs.
Oh you're non religious/religious? Oh you don't want to have children? You are useless and selfish! Oh you have tattoos/dyed hair/painted nails? HOW DARE YOU PUT SUCH OFFENSIVE THINGS ON YOUR BODY! Oh you eat meat/only eat veggies? You are entitled and rude!
For as much as they preach about "being special and that everyone should embrace who they are" they sure have a great way of showing it. Instead of pretending to support something just because it's mainstream, just be polite and courteous. This is one of the reasons our world is so divided. People can't accept that everyone else are people too. All with different background and experiences.
But who the hell cares? We're all wired to think negatively of people. Only some can't seem to learn how to shut their mouth.

So this guy was a gnarly badass drug addict but shaped up and became a minister. After having bad sex with his wife he shoots off into space to preach to weird, pleasantly receptive ballsack-looking aliens. It eventually becomes apparent that he will never go home, as earth is being destroyed (climate? Nukes?) beyond rescue, and his wife and their unborn child are doomed (her own faith in god, by the end of the book, it seems, is destroyed.) the author’s wife died of a terminal illness just before this was written and he proclaimed this would be his last novel. I think he is Scandinavian, but I’m not completely sure. Only thing I can’t remember is the name of the book and the author. Help pls
