Just baught a 1900 home ( port sunlight UK) solid brick house. It is solid brick and the previous owner has treated it rather badly. So this wall in the photo goes to a walk way to the garden but collects surface damp. What would be the best way to air it but to also be thermally effecient.
Back in the day on transatlantic ocean liners from England to the US if you were fancy you would get a cabin on the port side first and starboard side back so it was always south facing and you got sunlight. Port Out Starboard Home - posh
