Here's a Strawpoll to determine the map we'll be discussing for Week 23. Feel free to leave any suggestions for maps you'd like to look at (that aren't already listed in the index thread).
Objective: Rout
On both maps, Chrom and Robin start the map on the top along with Validar in the center, sealed off from the rest of the map. Premonition ends upon killing Validar.
However, on Chapter 23, the rest of the players units start on the bottom left, with enemies on every other corner. Upon first killing Validar, he will warp to the bottom right and call upon reinforcements. Basilio and Flavia will join on the top right.

FEWOD's guide (Prologue/Chapter 23)
As an example I'll start.
As a writer I enjoy exploring the deep of human complexities, the pains that twist us.
That, depending on your fall, you may fall so deep, you never really recover.
You'll be hunched forever. The very pain weighting you down and everything, every sense,
as to be skewed and never precise.
-For me, there's such a story. I have many but this one is most recent. The tale of a desperate,
young warrior. He falls into one of these holes, he falls deep, and I explore his descent.
I remember in the beginning how I felt, and the ease with how I'd write, talk about his tribulations.
Then, I was struck by a sudden realization - that the character first brought to light..
>!The Perception Of Old Age.!<
Through his interactions with many older folk, he realizes old age isn't far off -but a transition,
a mentality we all must take, no matter our age.
In turn I reflected on my own thoughts about family, and old age. Death. So I thought about my insecurities, and in turn reflected on what I wrote --> the interaction between the warrior and his family, visiting them, taking care of/for them, and old age ever reflected in his decision.
Little by little I realized this, till I confronted myself.
I looked at the previous writing, at the planned arrangements of the story (how it was meant to flow) as a whole. Indeed, this did influence the story structure, as far as giving meaning to things that originally there was NONE MEANT to be had. & it hurt. It hurt because I began to doubt many things, from a creationist point.
(as an author, not as religion)
Then, just as quickly, I wholefully accepted the continuous change, due to an important self rule (that normally I don't discuss about). Growth, is not based on a prerequisite, a set standard, or a point you can EASILY -draw a line. It's a mirage of multiples, and once you get there, or you look past the mirage; you see the record, you see the trajectory of the choice you led, bringing you here.

So I kept the changes. I'm glad my self-revision and character exploration led me here, allowed me to explore my views on mortality, attachments, and those very close to me, and every time I'm reminded, I'm ever thankful.
-- --I know it seemed like the topic would be depressing and we'd comment/wallow about our depressive selves and hurtful past experiences, and have a laugh (at 1st I thought it'd to be so).
I have those as well, but in this part of my li
Yo! It's been a while since I've posted something involving Dreams & Premonitions. The last time I did was almost 2 years ago. I've done a lot since then, mainly changing platforms, as well as tons of story revisions. u/OK_Entendu2095 actually made post about the fic a little while ago, so big shout-out to him for that. Most importantly, huge shout-out to Glor, my beta reader(go checkout his work Amarantos on ff.net)
I'll keep everything else brief. Here's chapters 1-4 of D&P, as well here's a little companion fic called Antics & Shenanigans (A&S)
Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy it! D&P Ch.1-4
Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise (Switch) is available on sale for $29.99 at:
Had a dream about 11 years ago. It was extremely lucid and felt like a vision of future events but it didnβt make much sense from the position of where my life was at that time. Now Iβm laying in the exact bedroom where said dream took place, next to my fiancΓ© who years ago was just a friend. The dream however showed an event happening that I hope doesnβt. I probably should mention this to her, right? Donβt mean to sound pretentious, but Iβm almost always right when I have these sort of visions. Theyβre not always just in dreams tho. Not sure where to go with this, just wondering if anyone else has had experiences like these.
I understand that a lot of people are against supernatural elements in certain shows but based on what weβve actually seen why are so many against accepting it? I feel as if the show has gone out of its way to show Lottieβs accuracy. Even taking us all the way back to her childhood. At what point do we accept what the show is actually giving versus what we want?
As many here, i have seen the quite comical interview of LMH by Jaimungal. And this has me doing some very gentle and superficial research about her whole deal than even as minimal revealed quite interesting things...
First i'll set aside the most comical as the fact she couldn't tell if Kangaroos were mammals (!) or telling that our species was 45 000 years old (when we have skulls dating back to 300 000...). Or the fact that even Jaimungal the pushover managed to put her in innumerable difficulties (check this excellent post for an example : https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/s9te7r/linda_moulton_howe_completely_embarrassed_herself/ )
Or the fact that she has a communication degree :

(Yes i know this was easy but i couldn't refrain from...)
Let's cut to the chase :
So about the Bismuth sample LMH had. She says that she gave it in 1996 to "a scientist" to analyze it. This "scientist" was Nicholas A. Reiter ( https://www.coasttocoastam.com/guest/reiter-nicholas-6668/ ). But contrary to what she said, he didn't conclude that this sample was particular or strange at all.
Quite the contrary ! Here's his report :
http://www.ufowatchdog.com/howeufodebris.htm
The most important part quoted here, for TLDR :
> At the most basic of levels, we would freely state that the artifact portion provided by LMH does NOT seem to be composed of elements or compounds which are unknown. Nor is it composed of alloys that appear to be of a purity or combination beyond the scope of current material science. The artifact bears a strong resemblance to irregular layered residue often found in large physical vapor deposition (PVD) coaters
>My own opinion is that the artifact probably represents a curious piece of industrial by-product from the thin films industry or a Mg casting plant. However, until a match-up is found, I will not rule out the possibility of a more unusual origin.
Open ending, right ? Wrong : he found a "match-up" in 2001 :
> Notes, as of November 2001:

> The combination of bismuth and magnesium had eluded us for four years. But then one day, we found a reference to an obscure industrial process used in the re
