Freedom, Justice, and Providence and Destiny and Legend symbolism to ZAFT/PLANT's ideology as opposed to Calamity, Forbidden, Raider, and Destroy of EA

They all represent the ideals that crusades against the oppression of the EA/BC and unlike Zeon who wanted to continue their principality, Plant's intentions are noble until Patrick Zala took over.

Freedom represents PLANT using ZAFT to fight for independence as the guns to shoot against the EA, Justice on the other hand is there to end injustice brought upon by the EA as the sword of ZAFT, and Providence is what we call the trump card to take care of ZAFT and PLANT as it's god/savior.

Zeon like PLANT wanted to fight for independence from the Federation but the Zabi Family and Haman are the reason it is corrupt.

PLANT had moderate and radical factions battling over until the radical won. Lacus and Siegel are examples that are noble while Patrick and others etc are bad while Rau was plain evil and Durandal's was gray.

Destiny Gundam represents the Destiny Plan to rebel against humanity while Legend is there to keep it in intact as the successor of Providence to succeed where Freedom and Justice failed due to their defection.

EA on the other hand corrupted by the BC continues their reign of tyranny through chaos as symbolized through Calamity, Forbidden, and Raider. It continued through Destroy as their ultimate weapon against the Coordinators.
