A list of puns related to "Pitney Bowes"
Yikes! I was just informed that my 2nd summer box is being shipped by Pitney Bowes! Iβve never experienced this shipping company before, but Iβve heard the horror stories. Does anyone have any positive experiences with Pitney Bowes?
During the last year Pitney Bowes grew its earnings per share (EPS) by 100%
Q1 revenue of $915m, beating expectations, stock was then beaten down after a run up
Every quarter PBI exceeds expectations, with an EPS beat of 61% the first Quarter of 2021
Their e-commerce transformation has only just begun, which is why the share price has increased so much in the last year. This company has tons of room to grow, and they continually innovate in their sectors - E-commerce, shipping, office mailing, and Sending Technology Solutions. They provide Software-as-a-Service solutions to bolster their capabilities for ease of use and scalability.
Leadership
Marc B. Lautenbach - CEO Former IBM executive for 27 years, great track record leading the consulting and systems integration business.
Ana Maria Chadwick - CFO Former GE Financial CEO, where she helped to transform the business to adapt to the future. Just like she has been doing at PBI since January.
90% of companies in the Fortune 500 rely on PBI's SaaS solutions to meet their e-commerce and shipping needs. You read that right. 90%.
The company just started a Dividend in April, which means more investors will hold for longer. More of the float will be locked up. This is good for us traders.
This is a value play. The company is severely undervalued and volume is low. All it needs is to be on the right people's radar to make a big jump.
Position: 200 12c 16 July, 1000 shares
On March 23, 2021, the United States Postal Service unveiled a 10-Year Plan that may have some incredibly positive implications for Pitney Bowes (PBI):
I read in some earlier posts that Barkbox said they would discontinue using Pitney Bowes due to all the issues they were having, but this doesn't seem to be the case. Has anyone heard similar recently? I ask because my June box "departed" a hub 4 hours away nearly 48 hours ago and I can't imagine what black hole it's fallen into that they can't provide an update. Not to mention they don't seem to do any shipping at all on the weekends. Pretty terrible service compared to most I've used.
This is the first time in all my years with Ipsy that my bag is being sent via Pitney Bowes. Is this the company that takes 10 years to deliver peopleβs items π Mine is usually delivered by DHL and then USPS.
With ecommerce being a hot area π₯, I wanted to invest in it. So I looked around and settled on Pitney Bowes $PBI since it is so under value compared to one of its main competitor STAMPS. They doubled their competitors growth plus their revenue is a lot higher these last two quarters but their valuation is stupid low.
Can some folks bring up counter points? I want to really vet this since I am betting big on it, and should I stay in it? I wonder if their issue is they where a dying old dinosaur and generally they are stilled viewed as such, or I am blind to some concerning issues.
Here are bullet points of what I know:
May box finally shipped on 5/15 and apparently went to PB 5/17. Their system and the bark box app has shown different updates but both showed an estimated delivery date of today (5/23). I go to look for an update at PB this evening and lo and behold the tracking number is no longer valid.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Iβm about done with this shit. Even in the middle of the height of the pandemic it wasnβt this bad.
I got my tracking email and the link took me to https://www.pitneybowes.com/us
I've never ever heard of this before. Mine have always been through DHL... is this a good sign???

So after PB basically told me to buzz off with my BBB Complaint two weeks ago, I got the bright idea to submit a Mail Search request. Since PB is a logistics company, they can sort of brush you off if you complain about your mail being missing, so I looped in the USPS.
Over the weekend, USPS confirmed they located the box, and my package landed at my door!
On March 24, Pitney filed a Form 8-K regarding the sale of $400M and $350M of senior unsecured notes:
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000078814/000114036121009686/brhc10022098_8k.htm
There is a reference to βequity offeringsβ as follows in the filing above:
"In addition, the Company may redeem up to 40% of the aggregate principal amount of the Notes of either series at any time prior to March 15, 2024 in an amount not to exceed the net cash proceeds from certain equity offerings at a redemption price of..."
Furthermore, βEquity Offeringβ is defined in Section 1.01 of the related exhibit below as "a primary public or private offering after the Issue Date of Equity Interests (other than Disqualified Equity Interests) of the Issuer, other than (a) a public offering registered on Form S-4 or Form S-8 or (b) an issuance to any Subsidiary of the Issuer."
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000078814/000114036121009686/brhc10022098_ex4-1.htm
To check if this "Equity Claw" provision was used in previous note issues, I searched Pitney's 8-K filings during the past 7 years for similar transactions. I found four but none of them have any mention of βequity offeringsβ in the main body of the filing:
09/15/17: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0000078814/000156761917001982/s001864x5_8k.htm

There must be a reason why the lawyers chose to add this provision in the new financing agreements.
So, what is Pitney Bowes planning to do to potentially pay off some of its debt?
I have a package that departed from the Pitney Bowes MONROE TOWNSHIP NJ location and has been like this for the last 7 days. The facility is an hour away from my city.
Pitney Bowes [$PBI] recently presented in the Sidoti investor conference to reveal some show stopping developments.
TL;DR : Pitney Bowes is an ultra undervalued stock trading at fractions of their true worth.
- EV/Rev multiple sub 1x
- Ecommerce is alone worth at least $12/share

This company has a really bad reputation, and that concerns me because now they saying that my package is arriving late because of βCOVIDβ. Anyone else has experience this with Adidas?
I have tried USPS, DHL and UPS and it has seamlessly posted tracking details (extremely quick). Might be worth checking out if you track across multiple shipping platforms.
So I found this from a Choice Capital Management letter and it does a good job of explaining how it is in a sense another Gamestop type stock that is misunderstood and has been thrown out.
PBI β Pitney Bowes, Inc. embodies several characteristics that seem to show up in many of our investments. Overlooked. Unloved. Misunderstood. Sometimes all three. Together, these forces have pushed PBI shares lower for years. Of course, it is not too difficult to understand how this came to be the case. The companyβs glory days back when it was lauded in Jim Collinsβ Good to Great for leasing mail meters and offering presort mail services have long since passed. Though these businesses continue to generate nice cash flows, mailing revenues have steadily declined for years. Consolidated financials are not pretty, with earnings declining consistently for much of the past decade. All this, for a 100-year-old company that β not so affectionately these days β goes by the moniker βthe mail company.β But buried within those consolidated financials that paint the picture of a shrinking company, Pitney Bowes has been building a very promising e-commerce business. It has been a long time coming, but after first getting into the business eight years ago with their acquisition of Newgistics, the shipping business appears poised to thrive. Other factors suggest the companyβs fortunes may be turning as well. In recent years, the company has gotten serious about turning things around. Management has refocused the company around mailing, shipping and financing. They have sold off a number of non-core segments. In addition to refocusing the company and simplifying the narrative for prospective shareholders, these moves have also enabled the company to improve its balance sheet, with the majority of debt now supporting the companyβs financing business. So now, βthe mail companyβ is shipping, financing and mailing, with the emphasis on shipping. The Global Ecommerce business is promising. It serves a capacity-constrained segment of the economy that enjoys natural tailwinds from a package delivery market that has been growing steadily at a midteens annual rate for years. Its principal focus is on Domestic Parcel Delivery. Here it focuses on the middle mile, retrieving packages from small and medium size businesses and delivering them to the USPS, who handles final mile delivery. It also offers Cross-Border Solutions and Shipping Solutions, with a primary emphasis on offering transparen

I come from an industry ironically that is e-commerce, shipping, logistics, etc. Companies like Shopify, Wix, Endicia, etc provide all this for free with their subscription + offer 3rd party apps.
Does PBI have any future, what are your thoughts? It has had some tremendous gains since trying to go with the times. Curious what yall think .Thank you.
100 year brand in need of a turnaround story. Already extremely well established infrastructure from their direct print and mailer business. Making the move into e-commerce, balance sheet hasnβt been great but they have been continuing to slash costs as they move more and more towards e-commerce. Multi year (2022-2023) personal PT of $20+ a share. They just raised their pricing model into the holidays and I think they have a monster quarter. Established name could lead to a potential acquisition down the road as a fulfillment play (Iβve had Amazon packages with their tags on the letterhead for a 3rd party delivery). Already had a huge move off the oversold selloff from last quarter and I think this will be their first true βturnaround quarterβ.

Disclosure: Long Feb $8, 9 calls. Also long 1,500 shares since $6 and holding $10 2022 LEAPS.
1/26 - ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED π
This company must be stopped.. from the research Iβve been doing they donβt even have customer service.. just tell you to talk to your retailer.. seeing them linked to a couple of companies.. Iβm thinking of starting a petition or something lol EDIT: They finally updated in USPS. Says my 500s will be here tomorrow..i'm still standing on what i said though
I have two boxes that have been at PB one state away since January 22. Iβve received over 7 shipments that shipped AFTER those two boxes, so now Iβm getting concerned...
Are they lost? Am I out 10 prizes? π
I just realized it's been a month since I heard from the USPS about my label claim. It's been a pain in the behind to get the process started. On March 7th, my label was erroneously adjusted and I was charged an extra $4.37.
After resubmitting emails multiple times, I finally got an email on March 25th saying an investigation was started. USPS is also directing me to Pitney Bowes for the status and outcome of my claim.
I don't have an account with Pitney Bowes, so I can't log in to check the status of my claim. There's also been no credit to my Etsy account since March 7th, 2021 for the additional amount charged.
How in the world do I find out what's going on, and when/if I am getting my $4.37 back?
I ordered a few things from YWOBB on March 30th and am wondering if anyone has ever had one of their shipments go through Pitney Bowes. Iβve seen some bad reviews on the company and Iβm starting to get worried as Iβm actually moving in a bit under 2 weeks. The latest update in my tracking of the shipment on Shop was 5 days ago when it departed a Pitney Bowes facility. Anyone have a similar experience?
Cause this is some shit. My package has not moved in a week.
Please. They are terrible. They've lost 2 of my packages and the replacements you guys sent took an additional MONTH to arrive. They consistently recieve the package from you guys over near me in California. Then it gets stuck there for about 2 weeks on average before making it to my local post office. This has been going on for most of 2020 so it's not the holidays.
Look I love barkbox. But there's gotta be a better option than them using pitney bowes.
So itβs the first time my gbp has shipped with pb and I have to say Iβm pretty impressed! It shipped on the 10th and will be here tomorrow. When dhl has it, it takes at least a week to see it. ππΌ
The company will send lease renewal documents but never the full document. In fact they sent nine pages of ascii code in a pdf when I asked for the original and then acted like the ticket was closed. My predecessor signed the contract and I have no idea what the terms are. Anyone successfully gotten customer service from them?
So I have a package coming from overseas stuck at Pitney Bowes, Monroe Township, NJ since Dec 1 (used to have status Delivery Exception, now it shows going to USPS then back to Pitney Bowes). USPS says they can't do anything since they have not received it. Contacted the seller who says it may take weeks to months for tracing. Does anyone have any experience if these packages eventually arrive?
They suck!!! I loved buying from Adidas app as they always shipped fast via fedex. Until like a week before Xmas i bought Ultra4D and shipped thru Pitney Bowes. Which uses USPS with virtually no updates and previous 3 days to my door became either 10 plus days or just got lost.
I dropped $2k plus a year on Ultraboost, etc each year since 2015 with excellent shipping or returns. But this setup now just sucks. Enough to make me go elsewhere. @adidas needs to get it together. I canβt be alone in this or am I?
Iβve been doing research about that company since Adidas decided to ship my shoes with them. This company has a great big bad reputation!!! Now they saying that my order is delayed. Need help!!
