• Packard was travelling with Linda Lovell hiking along the CA coast with a final destination of Spokane WA. Packard called his family on June 10th 1974 from Stinson Beach, CA. On June 20th 1974, a traveler's check in Packard's name was cashed at a store in Westport, Mendocino County, CA. Linda Lovell and Stephen Packard have not been heard from since then.

Date of Last Contact: June 1st, 1974

• Lovell was last seen in Stinson Beach, California sometime in June 1974. She was hitchhiking along the California coast with a friend, Stephen Packard. They planned to eventually go to Seattle, Washington to visit the World's Fair, then return home to Missoula, Montana. Packard called his family from Stinson Beach, California on June 10, 1974. On June 20, one of his traveler's checks was cashed at a store in Westport, California, about four hours north of Stinson Beach. This is the last sign of them; neither Packard nor Lovell have been seen or heard from again.

Barry Kirk Pinder was killed 24 minutes away from Westport California at his campsite on June 18th, 1974.

• Barry Kirk Pinder was found murdered at his campsite inside MacKerricher State Park just north of Fort Bragg. An autopsy revealed the cause of death to be blunt force trauma. Neighboring campers reported seeing three to four male subjects in the campsite the prior evening along with a motorcycle. The following day Pinder was found deceased underneath a picnic table and the motorcycle was no longer at the location.

The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.

Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.

The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:

"What's sarong with that?"

I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).

His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.

I was feeling anxious about posting this for the longest time because I felt that I couldn't until it felt "complete" enough. However I think the beauty of this project is that it will never truly be "complete" in the sense that I can never add all the anarchist resources that currently exist, but also in recognition of the fact that there will and should be many more works to come.

I know lots of us have the experience of a well-meaning older person suggesting names like "Heather" or "Erica" for our little ones, without understanding why those names might be unappealing to Millennials. So with that in mind, I put together some lists.

Here are the names that appear in 2019 top 100, but not at all on the 1989 top 1000 -- that is, the modern common names that might sound the most unusual to an older person who hasn't been exposed to contemporary name trends, and the most likely to be mistaken for "unique" by a non-name nerd.

The following names were in the top 100 in both years, that is, the names that both a modern name nerd/parent and an older non-name nerd might both agree are "classic."

Below are all the names that were on the top 1000 list in 1989, but not in 2019. It's crazy how names can change so much in one generation! Names in bold were in the top 100 in 1989, which are the names likely to sound common and normal to an older non-name nerd, but dated and unappealing to a young parent or name nerd.
