A list of puns related to "Paul Wall discography"
Always found this kinda funny about KISS.
One of the fun parts of following Metallica is that throughout the course of a tour, the standard set features a heavy amount of new songs. For example, An October 24th, 2017 show from the middle of the Worldwired tour sees 7 of 18 songs from Hardwired to Self-Destruct.
KISS has been the polar opposite, almost ashamed of their new material.
The trend has dominated the band's live shows dating back to the late 70's. The four bonus songs from Alive II were never performed live during the "classic" era. The solo albums saw just 3/40 songs make it into the set, as Tossin & Turning was dropped after a handful of dates. Dynasty fared just as poorly at just 2 of 9 tracks. In a span of four years, KISS neglected more songs than some bands have written in their entire careers.
Animalize & Asylum brought this trend back. Both had just two songs from each album worked into their respective tour's regular set. In both circumstances, the opening track - the one fans heard first if they bought the album - were both rarities and played only a handful of times across 100+ date tours. Weird.
Hot in the Shade, probably the most egregious offender in their entire career. The album was advertised as Kiss's biggest ever - fifteen new songs! Paul and Gene only felt comfortable playing three of them live.
The band released "You Wanted the Best, You Got the Best" as a souvenir during their 96-97 reunion tour. The re-recorded tracks that started off the album - Room Service, Two Timer, Let Me Know - were never played on that tour or any subsequent reunion era tours. Take Me, the fourth re-recorded song, was in the set for a handful of dates in '96. All that effort to re-record songs they'd never actually play?
Psycho Circus, the alleged "comeback" album, saw just three songs in the set of eleven recorded. For the Monster tour, just 1.5 tracks (yes, a half-song!) made it into the set when they visited my city.
What's the point of this rambling? It makes me think P&G are fully aware of just how much utter crap they've recorded and were always destined to be a nostalgia band. Even in the 80's when they were doing quite well on MTV and enjoying a second wave of popularity thanks to glam rock, their setlists showed almost no faith in their new material which is uncharacteristic of any rock band. This is a pattern that continued across close to ten different tours.
This makes you wonder why they constantly felt the need to

Brand New. Unopened. Bronze Version.
[SOLD] NM/VG+ Prince Paul- A Prince Among Thieves VMP
Spun once, yesterday. This one isn't really my thing. The outer sleeve that VMP sends stuff in was torn when I got it but the actual jacket and vinyl is perfect! It's a cool record, I'll just never listen to it again. I know I won't.
[SOLD] $23 NM/NM Tom Petty-Greatest Hits
Opened and never played. Dunno why I opened it up. I have his entire discography, I do not need this for only one song, Last Dance With Mary Jane... should go to someone that will enjoy it. In great condition.
[SOLD] $15 NM/NM David Bowie-The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust 2016 RM 180 gram
Sounds fantastic. Clean. Played maybe two or three times. I have a different version that I play more often. This one just sits there on the shelf.
[SOLD] NM/NM Elliott Smith- Elliott Smith 2012 RE 180g
Not sure why the value of this one has gone up in the last few months. It's hovering around $35-40 on discogs. This one is hardly played as well. Got the recent box set of this so no need for this one.

... keep reading on reddit β‘As the title above says, I personally feel that the Pink Floyd album 'The Wall', is an overrated moment for them, particularly when considering their discography as a whole. Musically speaking, I feel that they took far bolder risks and had much grander instrumentation on a number of albums such as Animals, Wish You Were Here, Dark Side of the Moon, not to ignore many of their earlier albums, which vary in quality for me personally, but which also definitely showed a desire to experiment.
'The Wall' is conceptually very strong; I'm actually a fan of Roger Waters as a songwriter but I just find that more often than not, the concepts and themes present on 'The Wall' take centre stage and priority, leaving the music either making me want more from it, or not really panning out in a way I find particularly enjoyable or exciting to listen to.
Just my personal take, it's totally cool if you disagree or you love 'The Wall', just thought it would be cool to put up as a personal opinion.
Cheers :)
Ps: Maybe even a hotter take, but I personally prefer 'The Final Cut' by a long shot but maybe a topic for another time :)
Darcey? Singyn, Varya, don't bring Tiffany and ronald backπ. I hope it's Angela π
Full quote from Tim McMahon:
> That trade was made because Tilman Fertitta wanted it made -- he thought Chris Paul's contract was the worst that he'd ever seen in business or sports -- and because James Harden wanted it made. James Harden, obviously there was a personality clash, this stuff has all been well documented and well reported. I still believe, and I wrote this last summer before things went down. I still believe that if necessary they could have managed that situation; I know a lot of people throughout the organization believe that.
To add insult to injury, John Wallβs contract runs an additional year past Chrisβs, and while John will most likely pick up his player option for his final year, there is a real possibility Chris Paul will decline his option (once an unthinkable idea) to sign another lucrative extension/deal.
Probably my favourite feature on any song, with Rick Ross in Devil in a New Dress coming in a very close second.
I've always loved his contributions to the Beatles, but I never really heard anything he did outside of the band aside from one Wings album. I've been told he has some great solo records but some misfires. Is his solo discography worth hearing from beginning to end?
