A list of puns related to "Patrick Roach"
I mean heβs always shirtless at any event I see him at , I live in Ottawa and have seen him at festivals just walking around shiftless doing autographs and pics Iβd be frozen all the time. Pillsbandy doughboy is the man.
Doctor, Jew, and the Dark would be a great rebranding and still keep the same title cadence.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
I've been wanting to do this for a while and as soon as I saw u/WayToTheDawn 's post about Darkest Hour I knew I had to do it.
This is for all the people that might want to get into them but don't really know where to start, so, let's go.
Vocalist - Spencer Charnas

Oh boy we don't have enough time for that.
And now, albums.
I am not going to cover the stuff before 2007 because not only it doesn't fit here, it's not on streaming services either, so let's skip to their first album.
This is a pretty decent album for the people that like raw and hardcore influenced punk from the 2000s.
There's a few good songs (Last Words being my favourite song by them from their early stuff) but that's as far as it goes.
This album is where they started taking more influence from metalcore, the album is better than The Burning, but it's not incredible either. There's some really good songs (the 2nd half of the album kinda slaps ngl) but again, that's as far as it goes.
Now THIS is where the fun stuff begins.
Just by the album cover you can notice that the horror influence is starting to appear on their music, but don't judge the book by it's cover, because the album also has some really beautiful moments.
Jonathan being the best example of that. The song is dedicated to a friend of the band called Jonathan that at the point where the song was made, was almost blind (if you read the lyrics it all makes sense), and the song is absolutely amazing.
This album has what I consider to be some of their best material, like The Power In Belief, a song that has one of their best choruses, an emotional bridge, but is still heavy as a whole.

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
Starting in February 2021, I decided I wanted to branch out from my habit of white, female authors and challenged myself using "themed" months to find new authors. Bear with me, this is long.
TL;DR: Representation matters and consciously seeking authors outside my default and/or mainstream authors by dedicating each month to a specific "theme" resulted in a richer year of reading, and subsequently, being able to answer a few trivia questions I wouldn't have been able to before. I've included the books I read each month, mostly with a brief comment on how I found the book.
Disclaimer: I will apologize ahead of time as some of these may be considered controversial or I did not stay entirely on topic. I used different heritage/history/pride months to give myself a general direction, but these were a broad generalization and not every book fits every "theme" 100%. There also were a few deviations based on when a popular book was available from my library.
