A list of puns related to "Paddles (cat)"
r/dihydrodick do you have anything you'd like to say for yourself? We sure are glad to have you here!!
I currently have 2 rods, a 6β8β Mbass mojo casting for cranks/spinnerbaits/topwater and a 6β6β MF Premier spinning for my paddle tails.
Thinking about adding a 6β8β ML legend tourn rod for my Ned setup and wondering if I could use that for both Ned and swim or if medium is preferable? 2 rods vs 3 would be less hassle on a kayak, however having a dedicated setup for each part of the water column would be very convenient and would allow for more spontaneous casts and less missed water.
I like having medium power for muscling bigger fish, as I am constantly hooking into 5-10 lb channel cats on my river so if I could keep my swim rod medium powered that would be ideal. I was only adding a ML setup for Ned sensitivity.
When I got there, there were a lot of people waiting. Some tried to line jump causing fights. I stuck with it, but it was quite the oar deal.
Xiangyan's Person in a Tree:
> Xiangyan said, "It's like a person up a tree, hanging from a branch with his/her mouth; hands can't grasp a bough, feet won't reach one. Under the tree there is another, who asks the meaning of Daruma's coming from the West. If the person in the tree doesn't doesn't answer, he/she evades the duty. If answering, the person will lose their life. What should to do?

To be wrong, to fail in your duty... what could be worse?

Circa 2005 I was stationed at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida. I had joined USSOCOM a while back and it had been a totally different experience for me. As a young sergeant, I was learning to adapt to the more civilized norms of a joint-service assignment, but I wasn't always a quick study. I worked alongside two other Marines in the comm shop, SSgt Brady and GySgt Nolan, and otherwise it was airman, sailors, and soldiers galore.
One Friday, I had been invited to attend a private function. Specifically, it was a going-away party. SSgt Brady was rotating to a new unit and had decided heβd throw himself a going-away because at SOCOM, there werenβt enough Marines for us to plan it for him. He only knew me, GySgt Nolan, and Sgt Pierce, so planning the party meant including the other branches of service. Three Marines can party, but we really should have other people there to stop our more enthusiastic ideas.
By this time, SSgt Brady and I had worked together for about a year. I was a gawky new sergeant when we met and he kept me sharp at our joint service command by doing things like sneaking up on me while I was at my desk and barking the greeting of the day in my ear as loud as he could, causing me to jump and hit the desk with my knees. When I was briefing GySgt Nolan on where Iβd gotten to with tasks and hardware deployments, SSgt Brady would suddenly put me in a chokehold and lift me up, causing me to writhe like a trapped snake until he dropped me. When I was finally freed, I would scoop up my papers and keep briefing as though nothing had happened. Keeping my bearing and sticking to the mission was, I felt, the best way to respond. SSgt Brady would smile and walk out while GySgt Nolan looked momentarily taken aback.
The ideal spot was the small, enlisted club on the marina, where a few private boats were docked and a small in-door event space could hold a few dozen people. It was decorated in tacky yellowish gold wallpaper and curtains, with long folding tables and wooden furniture.
When the evening came for the party, I showed up in jeans and t-shirt with a bottle of Malbec, ready to get down with my peers. All the other revelers had already arrived, rounding out roughly twenty people in attendance. It was roughly six in the evening and SSgt Brady had provided coolers of beer and a couple bottles of vodka and rum. Iβd brought wine instead because I much preferred it, but to keep myself at t
