A list of puns related to "Overpowered (song)"
I imagine they would be so overpowered they could take on belos or at least a coven head but that's just my thought. Someone plays queen, or Bon Jovi I imagine they would ascend to godhood.

First 3 songs are about himself and all his accomplishments in his life, then we have couple of songs from no.4 to 8 about gang life and turning up. Then from 9 to 13, emotional roller coaster of losing his loved ones then having time of his life after breakup. And last two tracks are conscious rap songs to showcase his lyrical ability and put ice on the cake also bonus is for haters obviously
There you have it, a cohesive project full of bangers. I feel like if he combined both his hof and 2.0, he'd have much better album.
I understand that this change happened when Bard was newly released and Blitzcrank was still a way more dominant roam support over the champion they designed for that explicit purpose, but with that said...
I really don't understand the inconsistency there - Blitzcrank's W gives a bit of movement speed and attack speed and that is apparently way too much to not be compensated for, but champions released over the last few seasons constantly try to one-up eachother with overbearing kits and introduced mechanics without drawbacks.
What's the deal with that?
Iโve never had any difficulties playing Pokรฉmon. Iโve always found the games to be easy, yet enjoyable. I was shocked to see in Legends Arceus that wild Pokรฉmon who are 5 or more levels below mine can faint my Pokรฉmon in just 2 shots.
Donโt even get me started with the Kleavor battle. All of my Pokรฉmon were above or the same level as it, and I just barely won with 1 hp on my last Pokรฉmon.
Has anyone else noticed this?
I'm not going to hate on people (I think their socks are cool ngl, all the minions have 'em) but I won't lie, this was a shared misrepresentation of the most common argument I've seen against Yasuo and Yone: the complaint was treated as if it's "Yasuo+Yone are OP" when (and this may just be me but) any complaint I've seen like that is buried in downvotes unless it's an obvious ironic meme, while any complaint centered around how abysmal they feel to play against is asking for karma.
Straight up, Yasuo and Yone are not "overpowered", they feel like shit to fight. You can play the lane well, you can kill them 20 times, but like a Tryn or a Yi they will eventually get ahead and kill you as the game goes on while making numerous mistakes that would get other champions vaporized immediately on the spot, and it lends to the popular feeling that these champions are Riot favorites.
There were other champions in the past who felt like ass to play against. AP Yi comes to mind. "Balanced" but anti-fun to play against because you had to keep him from stacking and if you failed to do so then you straight-up lost because he'd be running you down and outhealing any damage you directed his way. Oh sure, ~50% winrate, but it made you not want to play.
Similarly, another thing that lends to this feeling of frustration is NOT that they get compensation buffs for nerfs directed at their core items, as I'm sure it can be agreed that compensation buffs are good. The issue is, Yasuo and Yone can get theirs one patch after a nerf to their core item, but some champions can go entire seasons sitting at 46% winrates because their core items took a hit. This also lends to the feeling that Yas and Yone are Riot favorites.
Please, do not misrepresent the common consensus. This comes off more as the people doing it attributing the complaint that annoys them the most to the one that is the most common when the complaints are only related tangentially.
TL;DR: AI is dumb
So I've played to the stage when whole map, except FE, were "Pathetic" to me, and got bored (as usual). By this time I already owned half of circle-shaped galaxy. And this one time I decided to let AI take control and see what it would do with such power. So the things that happened after I entered the console command were like this:
Almost instantly AI declared war on Dedicated Exterminator (DE) neighbor.
It then grabbed all the military fleets and set them to follow a small baby space amoeba that one of my scientists adopted.
Together with that amoeba, whole navy departed to the other end of the galaxy to kill the Ether Drake.
Meanwhile, the war was going on. DE was taking undefended systems and planets one by one
The combined fleets successfully killed the drake, and started flying... to another distant system, to kill Solar Devourer. All that firepower being led by a baby amoeba.
DE was getting closer to the capital
The fleets managed to kill the star devourer, and finally remembered that they were at war.
When they started flying home, war exhaustion reached 100% and AI instantly smashed the Settle Status Quo button.
The result of this offensive war on pathetic neighbor:
Over half of systems lost, including four grand-citadel-sized shipyards with titan building capacities
Over dozen planets lost, among them the most developed ones, including capital
Considering that nothing in the world is going to stop DE from processing our people for the next 10 years, it is safe to say that about 70% of our species is as good as dead
We supported that baby amoeba vendetta against the space monsters, so you can say that their sacrifice was not worthless
I am personally very ashamed that this AI managed to defeat me couple times in previous games
I feel like the last word if it had desperado would be the most broken gun in the game.
EDIT: Most people here want outbreak with rapid hit
Hi Reddit, wondering if you can help. We're playing a mostly homebrew game roughly based on Descent Into Avernus, and my DM is finding my Dhampir Monk to be overpowered.
We're level 9, and his stats are a 20 in DEX, 18 CON and 18 WIS, as well as a 12 STR and an 8 in CHA. He's a Long Death Monk and my DM finds that his to-hit modifier and damage is too much. For context, I'm using the official Dhampir which doesn't add your CON to your bite, so I have a +9 to hit and a +5 damage with unarmed strikes. Am I missing why this character is overpowered? I'm finding I have to use all my Ki in every fight to keep up with a Warlock with 20 CHA, and a Fighter with 20 STR DEX CON and a 2d12 greataxe. Any help either to see why I'm overpowered, or how to explain to my DM that I'm not, would be much appreciated.
A good example would be in call of duty 16: modern warfare when hes using the 725 double barrel.
This needs a shit ton of explanation beforehand, so prepare for a long read:
In my novels' setting, which is heavily influenced by 13th century Europe, Western Asia and Northern Africa (the rest exists too, but it doesn't yet play a role) there used to be dragons all over the habitable world (classical European dragons, wyrms, lindwurms, you knows those kind of guys, spitting fire or poison, often flying... so, dragons are OP.) Now, there are few, for the following reasons:
The Nordrikians/Northern Guthinn ("Norsemen") had their "Soul Singers" (they are not singing soul music) banish the dragons, and there was an ancient hero who had a set of enchanted scale armour that made him invincible to them, so he killed a couple of them and they didn't dare come back because even now, the spells from pagan days still keep them away.
The Faucongriffese/Vasรณmans ("French") had their mages build magic ballistas with arrows that followed the dragons once shot, this was adapted also by some of their neighbours
The Goreans ("Spanish") have magic meteorite armour
The Tutmeristani and the รlkemizians ("Persians" and "Turks") had Ex t'ca, Dragon Poison, some of them hold magical ceremonies (part of "Islam" or "Zoroastrism")
-The Muraq'ans and รgรผbtians ("Mahgreb" countries) also had poison, but they also hold magical ceremonies to keep the dragons away
Now, four major regions are left:
-The Imperials ("Germans", some "Dutch"). In the western parts of the Empire, the poison is known as well, but it is not as widespread. But dragons are. How did they banish them? Like, a couple of them are still there, but how would you say they reduced their population? The climate and environment is similar to Germany's and Anno Figgii 500-560 they had a war where they became Figgists ("Christians") and started their Empire, if that info helps with constructing a reason.
-The Bogds ("Slavs"). Technically, most of them are part of the empire Now, too, but this is more about how their "magical/pagan" ancestors (there are still pagans, but you know what I mean) would have banished the dragons. They had magical songs as well, and they worshipped honey, mead, bees, and a tree, river, farm, sky and bear deity, maybe this info helps?
Donโt just downvote me, argue with me. I think the Necrons suck tremendously, and itโs neither their aesthetic, which I like, nor the fact their are powerful, which as such is fine with me - they are so ridiculously overdrawn and cartoonishly powerful they destroy things a bit for me. They are like two four year olds bragging about their imaginary friends were allowed to decide on their lore. โThey are very good fighters. Oh yeah, and with the best technology, so good that they shoot destruction as such, like, turning anything into nothing. Oh yeah, and they are immortal. Oh yeah, and they can switch bodies. Oh yeah, and they are the oldest faction. Oh yeah, and they have conquered all of the Galaxy once. Oh yeah, and there are countless numbers of them. Oh yeah, and they enslaved the gods of reality. Oh yeah, and that one dude from them collects everything including planets just for himself. Oh yeah, and they can manipulate time. Oh yeah, and they have magic, but without any of the dangers the other magic species have, because theirs is god technology.etc etc etcโ
I have tried to like them, and some of the books were good even, but no other species can remotely compare. And that is annoying as hell.
title says it all, I'm taking about who'd be the most overpowered, broken member in hololive.
Lore wise.
I like superhero comics and movies. And one thing that really irritates the shit out of me is killing characters to be edgy, or killing overpowered characters easily just because itโd create a loophole if they were around. It shows no creativity and limiting a group of heroes because writing would be more manageable makes your characters look painfully weak.
They sideline Quicksilver in the X-men movies.
Kill Quicksilver in the MCU.
Kill Flash in the DCAU just because.
This is a quote from Ernie Altbacker on the Injustice animated movie.
โWell it is based upon a fighting game where characters do get killed, right? So I donโt think they would have said anything. I mean, obviously we would have gotten some pushback for killing Batman or Superman or Wonder Woman when they havenโt died in the comic. Or at least, they havenโt yet or when I was reading it. Maybe they have now, who knows? But no, they were fine. Well, in one case I did kill a major characterโฆ We did that to shine more of a light on Mr. Terrific, and to take away some things like, โWhy donโt they just Flashpoint this thing?โ To take away some options. Because when we were writing it, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War had a Flashpoint thing, the weekly television Flash show, they did the Flashpoint. And it was like, โWell, everybody knows about this thing now, and theyโre going to ask, โWhy donโt you just Flashpoint it?โโ And so we decided to get rid of that option right in the beginning, so that might not be a fan-favorite decision, but it did open up some interesting things.โ
Its really disappointing reading this stuff. Obviously itโs an animated movie, itโs not a big deal. But I think this applies to every overpowered character in entertainment lately. Itโs getting tired and it shows how little some creators feel about content they feel is silly.
Edit: hereโs a link to Altbackerโs interview. Feels like a pile of excuses and ass-saving but what do I know.

Also quick mention: Not thrilled about the DCAU in general. Unnecessary deaths and mutilation for what? Shock factor? Itโs desperate. And since โJustice League Warโ I think their films have gone down in quality. Grew up with them, love DC, but I hate seeing them scream for attention. I donโt think DCAUโs development shows an understanding in how to grow with their fan base. Mutilation isnโt maturity, the sexual refer

I'm planning on having my roguelike multiplayer game be a race for each character to gradually get more upgrades and become as overpowered as possible, pitting them against each other in-between upgrades. Would anything about this method be unfun?
edit: Thank you everyone for the incredibly insightful comments. Please know I've read every single one and am taking everyone's opinions, examples, and anecdotes into account
In comparison to every single shinobi we saw throughout the series, Madara was ridiculously Godlike.
Most OP shinobi had one or two inherent advantages, a really good jutsu, and some great strategy.
Madara has Hashirana cells, sage chakra, the 10 tails, the rinnegan, mangekeyo, susanoโo, physical clones with susanoโo, seemingly endless chakra, Uchiha reflection, both zetsu, the ability to break the mausoleum seal, the ability to break the reanimation jutsu, a mid-air-no-sign-weaving-not-looking-at-his-opponent-paralysis-jutsu (edit: Limbo, I think, specially referring to when he killed Sasuke), can single-handedly fight all the tailed beasts at once, and has the gedo statue.
Itโs sort of ridiculous isnโt it? I feel like the plot wouldnโt have suffered had they chosen to not make Madara so ridiculously powerful.
In Fusion, Samus took hours before she even fell unconscious, and even after that, they were able to recover her from her ship, take her to a medical facility, do surgery on her, and develop an entire vaccine just for her, all before the X were able to fully consume her. When you get to the space station the game takes place on, all lifeforms have been fully consumed, but the X have had an indeterminate amount of time to do so.
In Dread on the other hand, the X instantly consume every single organism they collide into, even Raven Beak goes down in seconds. We never saw anything like that in Fusion, and if they were capable of this, then Samus wouldโve died, she wouldโve never even gotten back to her ship, much less lived to be given the vaccine.
What video game, board game, any game or media really, that has made the Germans or other Axis powers really overpowered for no reason?
Why are they overpowered?
And how would you implement realistic Germans into the game?
In early December, there was a bracket conducted by Riot Mortdog asking TFT players what, in their opinions, was the most overpowered (OP) team comp of all time. Players voted in the bracket and the results can be found here: https://twitter.com/Mortdog/status/1468361897426632708/photo/1.
There are many factors influencing the poll, such as recency bias, different definitions of OP, etc. Influenced by this, my goal in this study is to perform a data-driven analysis using some data science techniques to give a more data driven answer to the question: what is the most OP comp of all time?
This reddit post is an abridged version of my full document, which can be found here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UyrVtR_FG5ZZMhdu8-lMTcm1dgpwGUdlsNlI1fPHbg0/edit?usp=sharing. A bunch of details are omitted so see that doc for the full story!
The general idea is as follows:
For every player in every game, we can treat their team composition instance as a data point. The goal is to group together these data points (i.e. team comps instances) into clusters. By detecting โclustersโ of data points, I can discern popularly played team comps.
For example, in the middle-right blue cluster, also labelled as 1,
... keep reading on reddit โกI've been seeing people saying that the PP-29 should be nerfed and I don't get it. The reason why people are gravitating to the PP-29 is not because it's overpowered, maybe relatively compared to the other weapons but that's only because the majority of other weapons particularly DMRs & assault rifles have a ridiculously high amount of spread or do less damage than their SMG counterparts like the PP-29.
For example the M5A3 does 22 damage up close tapering off to 15 at long range while the PP-29 does 26 up close down to 18 down range. Yes an SMG does more damage than an assault rifle at range this renders most other weapons redundant compared to the PP-29 which is one of the very few weapons which are actually in usable state currently. DICE should be in fact reducing the spread and or increasing the damage of the assault rifles to make them more inline with the PP-29.
Iโm running my first game soon and Iโm curious if there are any Specializations I should either watch out for if they are OP or steer players away from if theyโre chronically UP as they might not have a great time. A couple notes.
Since 2018 the jesc winners win online voting. Only the inaugural year of 2017 which Russia didnโt win. Do you think they should change online voting to regular televoting
Anytime I play a long playthrough of skyrim, I always find myself going for the strategy of maximizing my smithing, alchemy, and enchanting to get the most overpowered gear. Even with the Unofficial patch that fixes some of the exploits, this still gives you such good equipment that you can one-shot most enemies.
Is there a mod or overhaul that reworks these three skills so this can't be achieved?
It literally negated the existence of the thermite and molotov cocktails. It is a straight upgrade to both of them, in functionality and uptime. It is straight up a molotov with scaling damage like a thermite, plus a smoke grenade. It also lasts longer, at 15 seconds. There's zero reason not to use this grenade. This thing needs to be a field upgrade, or even a killstreak. Or maybe it should take the slot of both your lethal AND your tactical since itโs functions as both. There is no excuse for this to be something you can throw up to 2 of every life.
Goodbye Ship Haus, nice knowing you before you were burned to ash.
