A list of puns related to "Over Your Cities Grass Will Grow"
Hi there, I long ago heard those words quoted as a Bible verse, but I am not able to find the reference. I find something kind of similar (Isaiah 35:7), but I'm not sure. I would be grateful if someone can give me a hand here. Thank you!

Everyone needs to do it if you are holding shiba. You donβt have to lock it away but thatβs where you will get the most back on your investment unless you have billions you should Lock up half
So the wife and I just bought a house and the previous owners had a massive bocce ball court in the backyard that's entirely fine stone/gravel. It was 44' x 12' and probably 5 inches deep of stone that was very compact. We pulled out the majority of the stone to use for other landscaping around the house, but we ended up having roughly 1 inch of completely loose/tilled stone that we just cannot find a place for, and due to limited access to the backyard would be a major PITA to pull out and dump somewhere.
My question is this, since there is soil under that gravel, how much soil do we need to place on top of the gravel for grass to grow? My assumption is that getting 4 inches of soil on top of it and rolling it to level it out, which would leave about 3 inches of soil, would be fine. As I said, the gravel is pretty loose so I imagine the grass would be able to find it's way through it to the soil below. We live in the Midwest near the great lakes, so plenty of rain and humidity. Any seasoned lawn care advice would be appreciated.
Think about it.. If they started to cultivate and do some genetic mods on some yard weeds so that they end up looking nice and uniform like regular grass while still having the yard weed growing strength, you could have an awesome looking yard purely of weeds without having to constantly water and manicure it.
I'm in cool season land. I have worked like crazy on both my front and back yard. Tenacity, aerating, overseeding, the works. It worked well in last season, although with the amount of work I had done on my backyard, I was always underwhelmed by the progress.
I've been trying to understand why this is. Then the moles came and made a real mess. I don't have grubs. But I do have moles.
And one thing that I've noticed is the amount of rocks they bring up. Small and big. Almost more rocks than soil in some cases.
The house is not new, it's from 1970s.
Is it possible that there is a huge amount of rocks that is keeping the grass from rooting?
Am I just wasting my time here?
