Iβm here right now for the first time. I know the happenings here might not be considered typical βparanormalβ, but itβs all very compelling for me personally- if you donβt know, in the 1980s 5 children started having visions of Mary the mother of Jesus where she would talk to them and implore them and the world to pray incessantly and the place has become a pilgrimage land for believers... when they were still young they all had psychological and physical tests on them and their sanity has been proven... also so many people have witnessed miracles from being in Medjugorje (like healings, the sun spinning... and the fact that bombs were dropped in the area because it was during the communist regime of Yugoslavia and none of them detonated in the area). I imagine there will be immediate skeptics because of the association to religion at Medjugorje... but to be fair people have encountered much more outlandish paranormal experiences that many redditors eagerly read about here on /r/paranormal and happily believe... so Iβm curious if anyone is inclined to believe (or even entertain the IDEA of believing) whatβs going on here? Especially the 10 secrets that the visionaries received... theyβre yet to be revealed to the world - but one was told to be that an βindestructible, beautiful sign that is not of this earth upβ will appear on the hill nearby Medjugorje once the apparitions eventually stop and it will be βhere until the end of timeβ... if this comes true and the sign is something truly otherworldly.... honest- what would you do? The Catholic Church cannot confirm the authenticity of the apparitions until they stop.. so itβs pretty much silent about it (other than given a recent approval for pilgrimages to the area). The more I look into the facts of what has happened in this area the more I am genuinely compelled by the paranormal aspects of it all.... does the paranormal only have to be scary things? Why canβt it be whatβs going on here?
