A list of puns related to "Oughterard"
We've stayed in Oughterard 3 times over the last 6 by years (from Australia) and have loved this little town. The highlights:
We truly miss our visits and would love to move there one day.
What are the local/regional thoughts on Oughterard? What are the schooling options like? We have 2 young children and are both teachers ourselves.
Anyone on this a member of Oughterard gc? Thinking of joining as they have a really good deal for retuning to golf β¬387 incl. GUI fees. What's the course like? Members generally sound or not?
Also have Cregmore in the mix as I've played there a few times over the last 2 years and it's getting better and better imo. But β¬630 to join is saucy I think.
Any advice welcome. Thanks!
My Twitter timeline is confusing the shite out of me. The people that are normally calling for direct provision centres to be closed down, are giving out that the people of Oughterard don't want a direct provision centre there.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Wondering if anyone would be able to point out any spots on logh corrib that I could fish from the shore? I know it's a challenge, don't have a boat yet.
Do your worst!
