I haven't read Oor Wullie or The Broons in over 20 years, and I was wondering if the stories are still published in the Sunday Post every weekend? If so.....
How is Wullie doing? Is he still in dungarees and sitting on a bucket, or has he gone hi-tech with a laptop and a gaming addiction?
And what about The Broons? Is the story-line still the same old-style format, or have the Twins and the Bairn grown up? And what about Hen and Maggie, are they retired now?
Surely old Grandpa isn't still alive, or is he truly immortal like Wullie? ;--)

They are claiming this as a first but I remember going to The Oor Wullie stage show some time around 1978 or 1979 with my then girlfriend Val.

When I was a kid my Uncle from Kinross would send me Oor Willie, Broons, Dandy and Beano comics to me for my birthday's and Christmas until he passed away.
Fast forward 30yrs and my 11yr old son found a few of them in a box we were going through and now he is obsessed.
They are hard to find in Canada, was wondering if anyone here on Reddit had a stash they'd be willing to ship over to me? I can send money via PayPal if that works for you.

Holy hell! I've just seen an advert for 'Oor Wullie's songs for weans'. Jesus Christ!!The voice overs are awful and about the least Scottish sounding kids I've heard in my puff! It's embareassing!!
