We just saw a cycle where useless dog coins ran up to 50 BN market cap and more. People were selling millions of dollar worth "profile pictures". Scams and hacks were a daily occurrence. The NFT space was and continues to be a perpetual clown show, lions, penguins, dogs, punk jpegs being sold for thousands of dollars. What even is this market. It puts every other bubble in history of mankind to shame.
If you wonder why the non-crypto crowd hates crypto and NFT viciously, it’s not an isolated incident or two, but a culmination of multiple events that are textbook examples of the worst capitalism has to offer.
Earlier in 2021, when I saw hit pieces against crypto, I thought they were quite wrong and were attacking crypto as they missed out on the gains. But over time it's very clear that there is a lot of merit to the attacks on crypto. The entire space has become a circus of greed, scams, zero sum offerings where one is looking to profit from another. If you go to other reddit subs like r/technology, they are all spot on about crypto, the whole space is one big clown world detached from fundamentals.
You dont even need to bring in energy consumption into this, even without it crypto is a market aggregating the worsts of the worst. Even now, there is little to no real world adoption of crypto, and instead you have a perpetual grifting scheme where people rush into new launches just to dump them at a higher value and profit off late entrants. Think 2017 cycle but on steroids with thousands of new coins.
You have exchanges and other large players legitimising ponzi schemes by giving them attention and even running dog money competitions. You had large defi protocols add ponzi tokens as collateral. Guess what happens to that $100k loan that was taken out using OHM as collateral, when OHM itself crashes 80% in a matter of weeks. A culmination of all of these is cascading liquidations and steep corrections.
You have coins with 50 BN FDV, where insiders hold 90% of the supply and retail buys these coins at the very top because they told to FOMOing into every coin that an exchange adds. In particular, what FTX and the whole scam Sam ecosystem they have encouraged is disgusting, if not downright criminal. Institutions and VCs got into these coins at cents to the dollar valuation, and exchanges added them at exorbitant valuations allowing the insiders to cash out handsomely within just weeks. Influencers and ponzi pumpers ran with “FDV is a meme” narrative

He's a really calm and calculated guy in general. Never gets angry and when he does its at his end point. We had a fight where I (28F) was wrong ( I see it now) and was unfair.
Nothing is an excuse for my behavior but its so hard because I'm away for work and cannot speak to him in person. We spoke about everything, dealt with the issue and I really admitted my wrongs but he isn't ok. He says he needs time to get back to normal and it's driving me insane.
I know I need to give him space but at the same time, I can bounce back fairly quickly after a fight. We only sorted it out this morning, but we had the fight 2 days ago.
How do i understand? At the same time it's making me really anxious that he isn't OK yet.
Edit: alot of people are querying the fight, we've been together for 6 months, I might need to move away for work and we were talking about doing long distance. He said that it's something that he cannot do, and said that we might need to break up. I lost it, cussed and was rude instead of just communicating my feelings in a better way. I vilified him and said that he doesn't care. However, I know that this was always a deal breaker for him. He said it from the minute we started dating. About 30 min after having a tantrum, I realised how wrong I was and apologised. At that point he already switched off. He hates it when I swear.

Basically I’d like to have a bug out bag and some essential supplies ready to go in my truck, but without it taking up much if any room. I don’t have a toolbox in the back so basically my available space is relegated to under the backseat and a small little box under the front middle seat.
Some things I’m thinking of bringing
-Change of clothes including medium jacket & boots
-Medium weight blanket
-Firestarting supplies (magnesium striker, matches, lighter, laundry lint)
-Paracord, a tarp, ratchet straps/bungie cords
-small first aid kit with common OTC drugs
-LED lantern, flashlights with extra batteries
-power bank for phone/flashlights
-water bottle and Life straw, also thinking about picking up water purifying tablets
Any other ideas as to what could fit in a bag under a seat? Also thinking about keeping a cheap fishing rod (that I don’t care about being stolen) in the back just in case.
I was also thinking about maybe keeping some food but I’m not sure what type of food would keep good inside a truck where the temperature could fluctuate a lot.
I have a specified bug out location for my family in case of an emergency that renders the urban/suburban areas dangerous. However that location is roughly 3 hours from our home so I would like to have my truck ready to go at any time in case we would need to go somewhere else. Any ideas or feedback would be super helpful thanks!

sorry for the mouthful title lol. for some reason, i have the sudden interest in a romance book that is centered around the romance between those in high society, preferably royals. the setting could be a simple romance between royals. (More on the serious side, not really a royalty version of many modern romance types). What i am really interested in though is a story like this that is set in a science fiction intergalactic empire. I have seen some manga / anime before (such as Legend of galactic heroes, which is set in a futuristic space empire with a 19th century style of royalty).
If anyone has any suggestions and/or any tips on where i can find more books in either of these settings, i would greatly appreciate it!
Hey all, hope your doing well. Recently I did my first below 20 strata cave dive and some crazy stuff started happening.. I was 21 strata deep and after exploring and getting some good loot, I told my companions to stay right where they were next to the stairs up while I explored the surrounding zones. After searching the surrounding areas and finding some great stuff I starting heading back to where my companions were and randomly there was a space time vortex near the stairs up and my companions were nowhere to be found! And the space time vortex had spit out a salt weep and a dromad caravan! Thankfully I only put stuff on my companions that I’m okay with losing. But I started searching the nearby zones just to be safe and there was ANOTHER new space time vortex that had spit out some low level hostiles and a vent that was spewing out fungicide gas! It was bizarre.. anyway is it normal for vortexes to randomly appear when you are in deeper level Caves? Or was there potentially a creature creating all of those that I just happen to not see?

Hi guys I recently bought a bra and it fits well around my body but in the cup there’s a bit of space at the top with no boob? The cup fits well at the bottom though.
I just received two AOPs totalling about 1200 for a move in September.
I thought my PCS was paid by the government, but I found out after the move that I was expected to pay taxes. I could have easily done the move myself for practically free (less than 500 for sure, even if I had to go the more expensive route), but I arranged for a HHG shipment because I thought it was free also.
Is there any possibility that this was a mistake? Can I negotiate? This was supposed to be a sign-on benefit for my new job, but I actually incurred a significant loss.

They were pretty down to earth.
We had pavers installed in our backyard in at the end of august 2021 and we started noticing spaces forming between pavers in November 2021, less than 3 months after instillation. We complained to our pavers contractor who said this is out of their control and due to ground shifting he said he would fix this for us as a one time courtesy and had a team member come and put in sand but this photo is of the patio post “fix”
Is this normal to have so much shifting so shortly after a job is done?
How can this be fixed?

It was a game for what I assume to be 10ish kids? i played it back in 2012 I think, there were lots of pets and this weird breeding machine? It was an online game as well, you had to log into it through a browser. I don't remember much other than that? i think it had something with kindergarten or preschool in the title though.
I know im a little, and i love being taken care of and having a ddlg relationship. but i don’t go into little space or need a lot of “little” items… is that normal?
