2014 New Flyer Xcelsior (XD40): Death by Engine Catastrophic Failure
You're not gonna believe what happened to me today... So, I was on the bus in my city today, and we got a low coolant warning on the dash. No sooner had the driver called it in had the engine stalled. We managed to limp it back into the terminal, but not before 2 more stalling incidents occurred. Finally, a mechanic brought a new bus and 2 jugs of ATF. He was told it was a transmission issue. He double checked the coolant, then dumped the ATF in the cooling system and restarted the bus, only to get about 100 feet. Needless to say, I think the bus needs a new engine.
