It looks like iPhone got the ability to map multimodal public transport + bicycle or ride sharing in August 2019. Any word on when Android users will have this ability?
Less important: Is it normal for Google to roll out features on iOS prior to Android? I get that iOS is predominant. It still seems weird to privilege the competitor over their open operating system.
Hey everyone, We've been working really hard over the last months to build a multimodal transport iOS app. It combines:
- public transit
- bike sharing
- car sharing
- ride sharing
- taxis into a single journey, when available. It also displays total cost, time, and CO2 emissions, and compares it to an equivalent private car trip. It gives you step by step directions to the destination, etc.
Looking for beta testers located in Vancouver, Canada to check it out and let us know what you guys think and gives us feedback. The beta phase will last 4 weeks.
