A list of puns related to "Moti (DJ)"
QUESTION ANSWERING BEGINS AT 3PM PST
Hi everyone, I have been producing music for over 10 years now and I still enjoy it to the fullest! I have released songs together with TiΓ«sto, Martin Garrix and Major Lazer in the last couple of years. Just finished a 2,5 weeks Asia tour, and have been working in the studio in Amsterdam for the past few days!
I have a lot of new music which I canβt wait to share with you guys.
Feel free to ask me anything!
I'M NOW LIVE
Feel free to drop your opinion
So I was in the mood to watch some Motis edits on YouTube and noticed that their most viewed edit has 4.4 million views in the 2 years of it being uploaded and I thought to myself βwow thatβs a lot of viewsβ but then out of curiosity I searched up Rotis and noticed that their most viewed edit has almost 8 million views in just 3 months of it being uploaded and most of their other edits also out view the Motis editsβ¦ why is that? I mean I knew that Rotis gained some shippers but it feels like theyβre becoming the majority. Scares me a little cause I donβt trust Laurie π
One of the things about Sex Education that really helps create solid characters and relationships is how the side characters are also written as the protagonist in their own stories. The story of Maeve in particular seems to have a lot of the hallmarks of a female lead but the major difference isn't that you are not rooting for her but that the audience is kept in the dark more with regards to her thinking and the nature of her internal and external struggles.
One of the examples of this is how in S3 Otis's grief and his attempts to F the pain away and inability to do the clinic are very obvious and reinforced through other parts of the narrative. There is literally a song about F the pain away and a side story with Cynthia and Jefferey about using sex to deal with grief. When it comes to his decision to stop helping people and withdraw from caring it is spelled out multiple times in literal dialogue. Eric tells him flat out what his motivations were and he repeated that understanding to Lily and Maeve.
Maeve on the other hand is also struggling with grief but the story doesn't provide the same level of support with regards to her decision making. There isn't a mirror relationship to help explain her thinking and feelings with regards to Isaac. There is no clear conversation with a friend where she admits her feelings and actions. Instead the audience is left in the dark.
Maeve is also the one that is left to make the major decisions in season 3. She is the one that knows about the message and has to decide when and how to tell Otis. She is the one that has to choose between Isaac and Otis. She is the one that has to choose between Otis and America.
Meanwhile the end of the show is really centered around her and her decision to go to America. Such an end to a show is often reserved for the main character as it is all about their personal journey. Instead the audience that sees the story primarily from the pov of the protagonist sees it as the love interest leaving.
I think all of these things impact the way the audience experiences the story because the role of the traditional protagonist is turned upside down a bit. I tend to think that Otis is still the protagonist but it isn't that simple.
For me personally, I canβt believe thereβs such a large amount of people who keep saying βMotis is boring now and just dragged outβ.
Donβt get me wrong, all Iβve wanted since S1 was for the pair to be together. As much as itβs a shame there have been so many obstacles stopping them from being together, I think itβs essential for it to be such a slowburn. If it wasnβt a slowburn and they got together in S1, I genuinely think there wouldnβt have been S3 or S4. The slowburn also has allowed the two to develop as a person and ultimately develop to be the best they can be. Itβs also allowed them to realise how much they love and care for one another. For example - Their last scene together in S3 where Otis expresses how proud he is of Maeve having the opportunity to go to America.
A prime example of a slowburn relationship that took ages was Luke and Lorelai in Gilmore Girls. It took them 4-5 seasons to finally kiss and date, even though they probably shouldβve been together in late S1 - early S2. I thought the slowburn was very good (especially for Luke) as it allowed him to really realise how much he loved Lorelai. Another example is Lucifer and Chloe.
So yeah, I think people are just impatient when they say itβs being dragged out, and are shipping Ruby instead because they had more screen time. If it was Maeve who had that much screen time with Otis in S3, there wouldnβt even be a debate π€·π½ββοΈ
Hopefully S4 will showcase how much they love each other and how they go in a relationship. The potential is very exciting.
Lmk what you guys thinkβ¦

I try to understand both sides, personally I am OG fan of Otis and Maeve's relationship. I try to put myself in Rotis camp and kind of understand them, and objectively speaking I think that this is a much better written SIDE relationship (sorry for calling it "side" but unfortunately it's true) than that of Jackson and Maeve.
But that's not the purpose of this post to argue about which relationship is better or worse in the fictional creation like Sex Education is. I like this show, I think it's great and because of that I'm very involved, as probably most of you here. But for the past few days I have been watching what is happening here and on other Social Media and it literally scares me.
The community of the show, which is supposed to teach us to accept ourselves and others, to being honest and try to make a true love, is simply toxic. Threatening people on the internet because someone else's opinion is different from yours? This is not normal. I don't know, go outside or something, think about yourself. Don't be toxic to others because of fucking character in young adult show. Some real people might get hurt by that. I want Ruby to be happy, I want to be all happy in this show, but not as I made it up in my head, but in the way that it harmonizes with the character. Why can't you take such an attitude?
P.S Some people will think I'm slandering one side, well no. I also see Motis fans who are toxic too, the post is aimed at both sides. Upvote this please, i think its very important topic and i think we should to talk about it as a Community.
I'm seeing people making polls asking who is Otis better off with? Which is a better couple Rotis or Motis? I'm seeing people argue that Motis r boring, they have lost their chemistry, they r a shit couple and blah blah
I'm like guys, we haven't even seen them as a couple yet lmao. Chill down. We only saw them kissing tbh in s3. The truth is Motis have barely gotten screen time in S2 and S3. Whereas, Otis and Ruby got a lot of scenes and also fun scenes. I liked Rotis srsly but comparing and saying Motis are shit is a bit overstretched. We can't argue which couple is better Rotis or Motis without even seeing Motis as a couple.
S4 will most probably be about Motis, so let's wait and see how their relationship pans out. Then we can argue which couple was better.
Just my thought.
What do you think theyβd do for a date? Personally I thought them actually going to get sushi would be a nice callback to s1.
