A list of puns related to "Moonee Ponds, Victoria"
Recent graduate moving from Geelong to Moonee Ponds early next month. Just wondering what itβs like to live there? And howβs the drive from Moonee Ponds to Sunshine? I donβt know much about the area but would love to hear more about it. Thanks :)
They walk out of restaurant after lunch to go to car. Friend just deflated, just slowly collapsed to ground and passed out. Mum and Dad spring into action, roll him over on his side, make sure he is okay. Lady appears next to them. Mum is trying to roll her friend over, while frantically digging in her handbag for her phone. "Want me to call an ambulance?" Oh yes please, says Mum.
Lady whips out phone, calmly calls ambulance, reads out location, relays information on his condition to the ambos so they know what to expect when they arrive. Ambos turn up (10 minutes), start helping the friend (heart rate at 20 bpm, he has had a heart attack before).
Mum looks around
Nice lady has not said a word, just walks back to the car she was driving in down the road when she saw two people trying to help someone on conscious on the footpath and instantly pulled over and ran over to help
Mum now feels really guilty as she did not have time to say thank you. I said I'd do the same, I hate being fussed over. So, thank you, very nice person. Friend is in hospital and doing okay, apparently.
But how amazing is that, she was driving down the road, saw someone in trouble and just straight away pulled over to help, sorted stuff out and then zooop back to her life.
All that stuff about people not getting involved or something. Well, this person 100% did, and then just strolled off out of everyone's life without waiting to be thanked, her job here was done
Ehhh, I'm out of words, and getting emotional, but I thought I'd let people know we live in a city with some amazing people in it. Yay!
Iβd really like to get back on the bike, but donβt feel like dodging cranky magpies again.
It is highly unlikely he was Mr Cruel because they have his DNA and all his attacks were all in the north western suburbs. Hall was convicted in 1994 for rapes of women between 1987 and 1994. Since it is highly likely the police actually do have Mr Cruel's DNA from the 1985 Hampton rape of a 14 year old girl (according to the Channel 9 documentary), they have probably already ruled out Hall, and he is not one of their Sierra 7. Now I realise when Val Simpson told me he thought they had caught the guy who did the Moonee Ponds rape he was right. https://www.newspapers.com/clip/78978356/christopher-clarence-hall-was-moonee/
Whole of the interchange is currently shut down by police. Buses are being redirected, unable to enter, and trams havenβt been running for the last hour. Warning to anyone trying to travel down Mt Alexander Rd by any means ~ big disruptions with no sign of easing.
My partner lost her pannier on the ride to work this morning, somewhere between Pascoe Vale and Docklands. Wallets, keys, phone, laptop, security pads, clothes, etc.
Probably somewhere on Moonee Ponds Creek Trail or Capital City Trail.
Would greatly appreciate any help or information to get it back.
Update: found it late this arvo. Cash and credit card gone but everything else appears intact. Not the worst outcome. Thanks for your comments and support.
Hey there! I normally wouldn't ask such a trivial question, but my partner and I have just been driving around for an hour and a half trying to find a basketball court with public access in Moonee Ponds. Would anyone be able to enlighten me as to where I can have a shot in this area?
Has anyone else noticed??? Itβs really strong at the tram stop/bus stops at ascot vale road/mount Alexander road. Itβs almost unbearable
I will be moving to Melbourne with my family soon. I got 2 kids.
What is living in Moone Ponds like? Is investing on a high rise apartment a good idea? Which areas are recommended?
Thanks.
