Those who filed as an independent, I’ll try to sort out a way for some of you to join after the primaries.
The debates will be in a few days, and I’ve figured out how they’ll work. A chat will be made with the 6 candidates, the debate moderator, and me, and the screenshots of the debate will be posted after. More info on the mods in the comments here.

u/MendedWaif62: Socially Moderate-Left, Economically left. Similar to Huey Long policy wise, and from Kentucky.
u/Hour-Fish6112: Pro working rights, supports 12-15$ minimum wage that increases with inflation. Supports single payer healthcare, politician term limits, and mandated independent commissions for redistribution. Social moderate/conservative.
u/PPNpartido82: Economic moderate liberal, Social moderate conservative.
u/Normal_Pianist260: Economic leftist. Supports paid maternity leave, universal healthcare, and expanding welfare. Social conservative libertarian, against mask and vaccine mandates. Fine with attacking their own party.
u/bamisbig: Socially lib-center, Economic left-center. Supports choice of healthcare with a single payer option, and raising minimum wage to $20 over 10 years, with exemptions for some small business. Pro Vaccine mandate, anti mask mandate.
REPS:

u/EpicNoober1233: Social center right, Economic center populist. Main issues are criminal justice and the welfare state.

Who will you vote for?
This is a mock election (This is just an opinion poll but with parties instead of quadrants)
Labour party- Labour’s policies include regulating the market, a higher minimum wage, protecting unions, and taxing the rich. Conservatives- Conservatives policies consist of deregulation, lower taxes, and traditionalism along with a smaller national government. Green party- the green party supports welfare, universal healthcare, open borders, and establishing a socialist state. Nationalist party- the nationalist party supports a strong government, strong military spending, and isolationism
It makes your Trump criticisms look pretty hollow. Either Georgia is a State with fair elections or not. You don't get to back Stacey Abrams and then call Republicans conspiracy theorists for saying the same exact thing she is.
With the lack of high profile candidates the influence of voters will be diluted unless voters can come together behind a single alternate candidate.
A mock election set up using ranked choice voting (as opposed to a simple poll), could identify the candidate most acceptable to the largest number of voters on the sub. That would be useful information to have going into the primary. (I realize the election itself does not use ranked choice voting).
Could this happen, or is this just a pipe dream?

As a Sahrawi, I thought about doing an interesting political simulation about my country, which I have yet to detail. I'm already doing the Discord server and there are elections already available! Everyone is welcome to join the Sahrawi Republic, even the Moroccans (in fact, there's a party just for Moroccan nationalists lmfao).

I created r/YAPmsMockElection to do debates, political platforms, and political adverstisments for u/bamisbig's mock election. Right now, it is just president and vice president. The main goal of the sub is to prevent r/YAPms from being clogged up with posts not using YAPms maps or posts that promote political causes and also so these posts don't get removed.
Polls for the election and major updates will still be posted to r/YAPms just because there are more people here to see them.
