A list of puns related to "Minnesota Valley Transit Authority"
My Transit Vision for the Delaware River Valley , the merging of SEPTA , PATCO and the Southern New Jersey Transit Divisions into a New Agency called DVRTA or Delaware Valley Regional Transit Authority. Iβm not a fan of the way SEPTA is so poorly run at least on the higher up level , the employees the most part arenβt the problem in my opinion. Seeing how they are the only system that has not expanded in the last 20 years beyond a few small restorations compared to other neighboring agencies. Its very painful to see all the abandoned trackage or trackage that is used for rail trails while the highways in the region increasingly clog with congestion. The South Jersey Rail network is in a similar state as Trenton ignores its potential , and has not advanced any of the RiverLINE extensions which would greatly boost ridership.
It has taken me over 6 years to slowly build out and tweak this map which I consider the Rough draft for the final version that will be created with Adobe Illustrator or Affinity Designer and posted in PDF format. In about a year or so. Iβm no stranger to the Philly Region or South Jersey have ridden just about every Rail line with the exception of Routes 10, 11, 13, 34, and 36 , Broad Street Spur , Doylestown Branch , Warminster Branch , Newark/Wilmington , and Cynwyd Line which I hope to all Ride on by next Summer. I've taken over 2600 photos across Philadelphia , Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey.

Financing the system and the expansions
Given the looming funding crisis about to happen to SEPTA in 2023 I would implement a Congestion pricing zone from Washington Ave to Girard charging up 10$ du

You fucking pieces of incompetent shit. Fuck your overcrowded rickety ass buses that are what, 3 years old? And already reportedly have cracked frames because you added too many seats to maximize fairs. These seats have about 3" of leg room, and yet are set way high off the ground, so that while your knees are being crushed by the seat in front of you, your feet are dangling over the floor like you're 3 fucking years old.
Fuck your incompetent fucking lunkhead drivers who don't notice when you pull the cord for a stop, so that you end up 8 fucking blocks out of your way.
Fuck your terminal. Fuck your fucking terminal so fucking hard! You've got an area that's for the PVTA passengers, who are by and large most of the people who use the terminal, and it's this long, narrow corridor with about 20 doors leading out to the bus "docks," which people are always opening and never closing, resulting in that space being sweltering in the summer and freezing in the winter, and malodorous year round. Seriously, what is that fucking smell? It isn't BO. When you closed part of it off to build a new office and you had tarps taped in yet still had everyone who had to wait for their buses there choking on construction dust, that smell intensified tenfold. It's a bitter, poisonous, deeply unclean smell, like old formaldehyde-based plywood saturated with decades old dried shit.
Fuck the Peter Pan station, which is the bulk of the terminal. It's a ratty, stinky hellhole too, but slightly less crowded, and with this swaggering, self-important fuck of a security guard strolling around with his cap pulled down low over his eyes, resting his thumbs on his belt like a cartoon cop and smirking that insuffrable cop-smirk, asking people sitting on the benches if they are waiting for the Peter Pan buses or the "city bus" and telling them to move along if it's the latter.
So I have to get a monthly bus pass at a kiosk in downtown Springfield. The pass has a magnetic strip and is printed on this thin, flimsy paper that falls apart if you breathe on it. It comes in a little plastic sleeve along with a sturdier plastic card that is also only good for a month. So I've got this pass and this card, and yesterday evening, I'm coming home from work and try to swipe the pass as usual, and the machine on the bus makes this earsplitting "SKREEEEE!!!" noise, indicating that the pass is invalid. The driver points out that the magnetic strip looks damaged. Sure enough, some random bit of sti

I'm putting together a specific youth education program for my local transit agency. Part of that will include interviewing peer agencies about their youth outreach programs. Have you had a good experience with your local TA? Have you seen effective education programs, for youth or other folks?
If so, please let me know which agency! As well, if you have any extra info or online resources to point me to, it would be super helpful. Thanks!
