What would win? A Spitfire Mk. VB or a Boeing B-17G Flyng Fortress / Memphis Belle
A bit random but I need to settle an argument with my brother. Sorry it's not a who, but I can't find a reddit for what would win. Here's the scenario:
The FF (I'm calling the Flying Fortress that cause i'm lazy) is enroute to bomb an air base from an aircraft carrier on the far west coast of Cornwall. The spitfire takes off from that air base on its own and cannot have support from any AA guns or the air base in general. (the FF is on its own aswell and cannot have help from the aircraft carrier. The weather is clear and there is barely any wind. Pretty safe weather for flying. The FF has 13 fully manned 12,7mm 2 machine guns which are rather slow at turning and 5 8000lb bombs. The spitfire has an ace pilot and 4 7,7mm Browning Guns and 2 20mm Hispand MkII cannons. The spitfire is also a lot more agile than the FF and has a speed of 374 mph. The FF goes 325 mph.

I was told to share this on here... technically I rolled into the shop as I went to duxford to conduct some NDT on the plane with my manager but here is Sally B B-17 Flying Fortress at Duxford. Was able to see the whole plane and get a large amount of info on this and its appearance in Memphis Belle

B-17 MEMPHIS BELLE COBI SET!
The B-17 Memphis Belle, one of my favorite COBI sets, features the B-17 and one COBI figure (Pilot) I strongly do not recomend that set for people who love to play with these sets cause its just not it, after one gentle touch the gear collapses and the whole plane brakes apart in to major pieces BUT the whole set looks awesome, the details you can get with the stickers you have to stick afterwars building the set makes it look even better, the whole plane is very detailed has couple of gunner spots and obviously the cockpit, it also features the bomb bay that you can open and close, we get couple of bombs made out of two parts, thats all interesting i think, Thanks and bye!
