A list of puns related to "Medal of Honor (2010 video game)"
The emphasis on authentic and visceral weapon handling. The map design and aesthetic. The phenomenal gunshot audio and the call in support, the slowed down pacing from the traditional Call of Duty pacing....
I can't help but think that it feels like Danger Close's Medal of Honor reboot from 2010.
Am I the only one?
Short but sweet, I played this with an open mind and was surprised how emotionally engaging the storyline was. The graphics are impressive too, not always the best, but here and there looking extremely realistic thanks to pretty beautiful lighting. By the end I had a really fun time and came away with some appreciation for the things that military members go through as humans, regardless of ideological opinions and all
Isnβt the dessert map giving off similar vibes to that game ?
There was 0 player and was unable to join a server. I was able to look at my stats though.
Now i'm not sure how picked up this is but i hope it's uncommon knowledge.
Michael Giacchino is a mainly movie soundtrack composer with some big titles under his belt such as the Incredibles (1 &2), UP, the Star Trek reboots, and Star wars ep7 and Rogue one.
I came to know him from his older work on the early Medal of Honor games. Such as Medal of Honor, Underground, Allied Assault, Frontline, and Airborne. I'd bet that anyone who has played these games would agree with me on the view that these soundtracks are stellar and provide excellent accompaniment to some really memorable moments.
Sorry for the long winded intro, now in Ratatouille in the scene where Colette is revealing the backstories of the other chefs in the kitchen she comes to mention a character who claims to have been in "the resistance" when she mentions this the notes of the song change to a "riff" of sorts frequently used in the Medal of Honor games, specifically Underground, in which you play as a resistance fighter.
The track in Ratatouille is "Colette shows him le ropes" at around 2:28 The Medal of Honor track is May 10th 1940 (Main theme) at around 1:00
I'll link the clip in the film here at 2:15.
I know it's specific but when i clocked it got me really giddy and excited to see him acknowledging his older works.
Thank you very much!!
Hey guys! I'm known as MagnumPI911 on live, or sometimes "dammit, who's mic is that?" When I'm not playing with a group of friends and pubstomping, I'm on freehugs. These servers and this community is awesome, and I just want to say thanks for all the great times and games I've had on here.
On the other note, I just picked up Medal of Honor 2010 in anticipation of Warfighter, and I was wondering if there are any free huggers who still play, or would want to play MoH 2010. So far it's been a blast for me, combining the small, fast paced action of a series like CoD, with the balanced goodness of a battlefield game. If any of you want to join me in playing some MoH, I'd love to have some people to play it with on occasion.
Also, are any of you planning on playing Warfighter once it comes out? I'd imagine there are a few players here who have it preordered for the BF4 beta, any plans for free hugs on it once it drops?
And don't worry, I have a new mic cable coming that should allow me to communicate without annoying the crap out of everyone soon.
Tl;Dr I love free hugs, I'm MagnumPI911, anyone play Medal of honor? Anyone planning on playing warfighter?
Was my second choice but still intend to enjoy it =P thanks man!
Just wondering cause I was talking to my friend about various game series and when we brought Medal of Honor up, I had a look at the series online and noticed many of the games were received unfavourably.
You know?
A big stage/arena when players need to find themselves and shoot each other to death.
I cant believe Microsoft thought it was a good idea to remove the horde mode split screen of the PC version of Gears of War
But thatβs what Im looking for.
Any recommendations? π€
I need to know so I'm not wasting my time trying to kill these things, I'm trying to do a 100% run without screwing up.
Specifically European Assault.
That game was one of my childhood games and it's one of my favorites of all time. I only have an xbox one and a pretty good computer and it's not backwards compatible so PC seems to be my only option. I really want to play it but I dont know if I'll be able to. If one of you all could point me in the right direction you would truly be an epic gamer.
Thank you!
Other than the fact that theyβre both based in modern times has anyone noticed that this iteration of Call of Duty is remarkably similar to the play style of Medal of Honor: Warfighter? I remember playing Medal of Honor: Warfighter and thinking to myself this game is entirely different from any other 1st person shooter in terms of how tactical you have to be. It was more about holding angles and itβs almost like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare drew some inspiration from the mechanics of Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
