Distilled water debate - I have switched from tap water to store bought spring water (UK) and have seen improvement in my new calatheas. However I'm not sure what people mean by distilled water. Spring water has some minerals. Distilled water is purified, is that what the plants prefer? reddit.com/gallery/mwozth

Good Hemp, Inc. (OTC:GHMP) said Tuesday it has bought Diamond Creek Group, a manufacturer of ionized high alkaline spring water, for an undisclosed price.

Good Hemp, Inc. (OTC:GHMP) said Tuesday it has bought Diamond Creek Group, a manufacturer of ionized high alkaline spring water, for an undisclosed price.

What Happened Diamond Creek is becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Good Hemp.

The Cornelius, North Carolina-headquartered producer of hemp seed oil-infused beverages said the move is part of a strategic plan to broaden its consumer reach.

According to some estimates, the functional water market is projected to hit $18.24 billion by 2025, mostly thanks to the interest from Asian and North American regions.

As for the alkaline water market, it could reach $4.3 billion by 2023, with North America and Japan accounting for 96% of sales.

With the newest purchase, Good Hemp said it plans to capitalize on β€œthis extraordinary market growth.”

Why It Matters β€œWe believe that with current Diamond Creek sales alone, we can increase our FY 2021 revenue by greater than 500%. Pair that with a fine-tuned marketing team under our hood, and we are off to the races – pun intended,” Good Hemp CEO Bill Alessi said in a statement.

Diamond Creek founder Ken Morgan said the company is glad to join Good Hemp.

β€œI have spent over a decade building this business and connecting with customers looking for a quality hydration solution. Through this acquisition, Good Hemp is positioned to take Diamond Creek to the next level, and I am thrilled to remain part of the team,” he said in a statement.

What’s Next Good Hemp and Diamond Creek have already used Good Hemp’s marketing collaboration with Spire Sports, counting sponsorship on the Spire Motorsports No. 77 entry in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Furthermore, Good Hemp has placed Diamond Creek offerings on Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) in order to capitalize on the alkaline water category, which is said to yield millions of dollars in online sales per year.

Good Hemp’s beverage line contains Good Hemp Fizz and Canna Hemp, which are carbonated beverages crafted with hemp seed oil and other natural ingredients. The company plans to launch a new line of cannabidiol gel caps with quick-acting properties.

Stock is down 16% yesterday, current price is $0.88.

Does this mean my water pressure is too high? Help reading gauge.

Edited to add video. Thanks!

Our water heater burst last week and ever since we got a new one, I feel like our water pressure is too high. We've had a PRV for a while but this is the first time we had an expansion tank installed with the water heater. That was the only change. I asked the plumber to come back out because I felt the pressure was too high. He said he tested it and it's fine. He said it was 65 and it would go to 75 after the heater kicked on, but it was fine. Now, a few days later, I still feel like this isn't right. I bought a gauge and hooked it up to the outside faucet. The red hand immediately jumped up to 130 but the black hand stayed at 60. So does this mean the pressure is 60 and we're okay? Or is the pressure 130 and my house is about to explode? :) Please help. Thanks.

LPT: If you struggle with over/undercooking things in the microwave, remember water has a very high specific heat capacity. This means the more water something has, the longer it will take to heat. Try to gauge your times based off how much water makes up each food (soup, pizza, tea, etc)

Ok I'll admit I put the microwaving tea part in to make people from the UK uneasy.

So apparently pure natural spring water is highly toxic to drink, due to high arsenic levels? Someone please explain this to me.

Okay so over the past two years, I've almost completely given up all sugary beverages and pretty much now only exclusively drink water or unsweetened tea.

I live in a rural area and close to my home is a natural spring that's really popular to the local residents of the area. Numerous people in the area, along with myself, regularly drink this water as our main source of ingested water. Most of us possess numerous plastic gallon jugs that we've saved and then refill with water from the spring. I have enough jugs to where I only have to go refill them every couple of weeks or so.

The water from this spring flows directly out of the side of a mountain, right beside a natural cave system. Its located in a rural area, in a forest, with no industrial presence nearby (the closest major city to the area is a half hour drive away). The water is crystal clear and is always rapidly flowing, never stagnant. It also tastes amazing, without a doubt better than any tap or bottled water I've ever drank.

My whole life I've been told that raw spring water that naturally flows from the earth is arguably the healthiest form of water one can consume, due to it being naturally filtered by the earth and containing various essential minerals. So for the past 2 years, I have drank this water on a daily basis because I was under the assumption that it was a healthier choice compared to tap or bottled water. However, last night I came across a chart that shows the alleged arsenic levels in various commonly consumed foods.

Here's the website link http://www.shotshurtlessblog.com/shots-hurt-less-blog/2012/10/12/fyi-arsenic-in-rice-and-juice-hazardous-or-hype.html

Here's the chart by itself https://static1.1.sqspcdn.com/static/f/1444237/20615483/1350104460693/20121008arsenic_in_food760.png?token=FlqWTao3F9VOcm4ClfhZgyR%2FoJg%3D

According to the chart, natural spring water contains an immensely high amount of arsenic when compared to tap water or any other food for that matter. It says natural spring water can contain anywhere from 200-400 micrograms of arsenic per 2 liters, while tap water only contains 4-8 micrograms per 2 liters, with 20 micrograms per 2 liters being the maximum level allowed by the EPA. At the t
