A list of puns related to "Maxim Integrated"
β Maxim Integrated Products, announced that its software-configurable digital IO products helped enable a 50 percent size reduction for the microScan3 Core I/O LiDAR-based safety laser scanner from SICK AG, a leader in the design and manufacturing of industrial sensor-based solutions. Achieving the industryβs smallest design allows SICK to expand the versatility of the new nanoScan3 Safety Laser Scanner for machines and vehicles that require high performance but have minimal mounting space.β

Hi!
I've basically cloned this circuit but my output voltage is only 220V from a 5V input. I would expect it to be around 400-500V. Here is my schematic & PCB.
I followed the Maxim notes, the diodes are all 1N4148 (SOD-123), all caps are 100nF 100V (1210, except C7, 100pF 0805) & all resistors are 0805s. Same ICs & the inductor is GPSR0720-4R7MS. At first I suspected dispersion, I've even covered the voltage multiplier in epoxy, didn't make a difference. The current usage seems kinda high at 160mA & MAX4162 also gets too hot to touch, the why is beyond me...
I hope someone has some insight, I really liked this circuit's low power usage of 90 uA.
Hi everyone,
I just received an offer from Maxim Integrated for the entry level packaging engineer role at their San Jose facility. Below is the compensation they have offered finally. I was wondering if anyone can provide me some insights.
Base pay - 95k per year Annual bonus - 10% per year Stocks - 5% per year Relocation+ sign-in bonus - 15k
Is this a good offer? I tried to negotiate but wasn't really able to get the base pay beyond the mentioned value
Update: After initial confirmation, I was rejected by the senior management without any reason. I tried asking them if there's anything that I could do to secure the employment but their decision remained intact. Shattered completely after hearing it.
Is this company still shit listed? I don't work in this industry, but I have admiration for it.
> Analog Devices didnβt waste any time kicking off the week with a bang when it announced this morning it was acquiring rival chipmaker Maxim Integrated Products for $20.91 billion (according to multiple reports). The company had a market cap of $17.09 billion as of Fridayβs close.
The deal, which has already been approved by both companyβs boards, would create a chip making behemoth worth $68 billion, according to the Analog. The idea behind the transaction is that bigger is better and the combined companies will increase Analogβs revenue by $8.2 billion.
Whatβs more, the two companies should combine well together in that there isnβt much overlap in their businesses. Maximβs strength is in the automotive and datacenter spaces, while Analog is more concentrated in industrial and healthcare.
Vincent Roche, President and CEO of ADI was enthusiastic about the potential of the combined organizations. βADI and Maxim share a passion for solving our customersβ most complex problems, and with the increased breadth and depth of our combined technology and talent, we will be able to develop more complete, cutting-edge solutions,β he said in a statement.
Maxim was founded back in 1983 and went public in 1988. It made 9 acquisitions between 2002 and 2013 with the most recent being Voltera in 2013, according to Crunchbase data.
As with all deals of this sort, it needs to pass regulator muster first, but the companies expect the deal to close by next summer.
