The Strokes being my favorite band currently (the first and last date of their The New Abnormal tour last March in WAMU theatre in Seattle was phenomenal - the day the music died, basically). My favorite rock band of the past decade or two is The Strokes. There arenβt too many comparisons who can match their modern catchy multi layered compositions. I am pretty into modern electronic bands/sounds as well and am a Drum and Bass DJ. I really enjoyed the new Machinegum album, which is a side project of a member of The Strokes (Fab). Any ideas for some great new innovative bands/artists?
