I just picked up the first book Last Wish. I plan to read the books then play the games. The vibe iv gotten, not sure where it came from, is that's its 17th century real world if magical advancement replaced technological advancement. Like it's a bit more advanced than simply being medieval times. Supposedly gunpowder exists but isnt used much. When I watched the first season of the show last year, there was one scene that gave me strong renaissance vibes as well.

No other woman wrestler has reached her level. While some may have been bigger stars in some fashion when wrestling was hotter, they were not actually wrestlers as much as personalities that were given some training to get through matches.

Ever since I turned 30, I’ve been struggling with my style — I feel stuck and confused about how to create / find a style that I feel is representative of me now.
I used to shop a lot when I was in my early 20s and then became much more conscious of the damages of fast fashion and so basically stopped cold turkey. As a result, I feel like my “style” hasn’t developed since then? Like when I do try to find new pieces, I feel like I gravitate towards the same old styles even though I don’t think I like it anymore.
Any tips on how you established your own sense of style that reflected your identity and self as a grown woman?
Idk about y’all, but I have a lot of fun doing them. I’ve been doing that the last couple of days instead of playing the game normally.
Every single day I get thrown into public matches that are well on their way. Many times they put me on the wrong goddamn teams side! Not only that, I can't hit shots for the first 10 or so seconds, so I die right away. It also adds me into free for all as well. Like wtf. Why? There is already a dude with 7 kills. What's the point?
Why the hell does this game think I want to join a type of match that has zero purpose other than getting kills, AND makes me die right away so often! IMO (and I'm sure many others too) there is no reason to play public matches other than to get kills.
I quit most of them because I have no sense of where the enemy team is, so I die so much. There is a rhythm to this game and its completely lost when I'm out right smack in the middle of one.
Ranked is for the ones who want to up their skill level at this game and sweating. Public matches are for getting the most kills and having fun.
Ps: I really don't care if one of my team mates quits a public match. I'd rather them leave it 5 - 4, than constantly throwing me into matches that are a third of the way through.
