A list of puns related to "Masseter muscle"
Has anyone ever had success with this?
My temple muscles and masseter muscles specifically on the right side are very tender and I think it might be causing my TMJ clicking/ear crackling issues on the right side
Iβve heard that you want to work your masseter muscle for a better jawline and also that the buccinator muscle should not be used to obtain hollow cheeks. Idk if this question doesnβt make sense but basically I just want to know what the ideal way to chew is.
this is the worst symptom for me right now.. along with the ear crackling
ear pain as if its burning and it feels like i have an ear infection!
masseter muscle right now seems super tender/swollen on the side where my ear pain exists. can this play a role in causing pressure and clicking of the jaw joint?
also whenever i stretch my neck i can feel the muscle pulling on my ear im assuming its the SCM muscle??
should i go to a massage therpaist? idk what to do :(
also forgot to mention i feel like i have sinus congestion as well its so miserable
also all these issues have started AFTER i was struggling with right ankle injury, i was unable to move and i was basically only using the left side of my body more and leaning towards my left side so I wonder if fixing my muscle imbalances throughout my body would benefit my TMJ. i finally fixed my right ankle issue and then randomly my jaw would just tense up and crack and i'm dealing with a lot of tmj symptoms
I've been trying but nothing seems to work
Scientists discover new human body part β that helps us chew https://www.news24.com/health24/news/scientists-discover-new-human-body-part-that-helps-us-chew-20220103
Recently my bruxism has been getting worst (due to stimulant medication) and I've been dealing with headaches and fatigue, my face is also becoming slightly asymmetrical as a result.
I'm looking into botox but I am a little bit of a wimp with pain, I mainly want to know how many injections are done into each side and what the pain is like?
I have gotten lipflips before and can handle it but its only about 4 injections so quick and easy, so just wondering what its like in the jaw muscle
is it from the pressure of clenching/grinding on the front teeth? or are the spasms in the jaw causing issues in the chin
i have pain, numbness, tingling, and swelling in the chin
I really want to give it a shot because my right masseter muscle is more tender/swollen compared to the left side which seems normal when I palpate it.
I heard masseter muscle is a huge trigger point for jaw pain and ear pain but I have been unable to resolve and relieve the masseter tenderness on the right side.
I also sometimes get back teeth pain.
Any thoughts on masseter muscle or will the swelling/tenderness just come back after botox goes away?
Just bought some Falim gun not only does it taste like ass but isnβt as hard most say.
How should Chew? One side or both side, the weak one etc.
I have a very square jawline and have already been getting Botox in my masseter which has helped but I also really liked the way my face/jawline looked when I was much thinner. The problem is at that point I was almost 15 lbs underweight, and since I am at a good healthy weight right now I donβt want to lose any more and sacrifice my health just for my jawline. So can I get Kybella in that area or is it only for the double chin area?
If it is possible what would be the cons of getting it there?
i can also feel the asymetry when i close my mouth, top and bottom teeths on one side are a tiny bit closer to each other
EDIT: i realized the masseter muscles arent very different on the sides but one is more hollow than the other, how can i make the other one as hollow aswell? (the cheekbone on the puffier side is also a tiny bit less visible)
Just curious as i've heard you must routinely get botox but does the same apply to the masseter muscles ? I feel like they are different from say getting botox in wrinkles on your forehead because it's making the muscle smaller. Has anyone gotten masseter botox for a long time now; will the results ever be permanent for it?
Hi-
I don't quite trust Yelp nowadays, so wondering if anybody has first hand recommendations as to where they've been to get botox to assist with TMJ or in their masseter muscle?
One of my masseter muscles is overactive which causes me to clench a lot and has caused a lot of tension headaches/jaw pain recently.
Any recs appreciated.
Thanks
Does anyone know how to grow and make the masseter muscles look bigger? How do you hypertrophy them?
So, trying to relax my jaw as my TMJ doctor told me to, my right masseter feels tight where it feels like it's pushing against my back tooth. It feels like that on the left but not as much on the right.
I've been taking magnesium every night which seems to help a bit, and I'm planning to go back to physical therapy because my neck, shoulder, and hips are off. Anything over the counter I should buy that will likely help? CBD cream or anything to put on my face or anything else to take orally?
any advice? what lifestyle changes i should change? altho i started using mouth guard
Has anyone had good experience with training masseter muscles in order to make jawline more defined and sharpened and face more squarish? I have a heart-shaped face and the beginning of jowls and really want to make it more square and sharp. On this sub I often see how people do botox for their tmj and their jawline becomes smaller, so it's logical to conclude that training masseters will do the opposite, but I'm not really sure if simple gum chewing will give the same results people have from grinding their teeth at night (ofc I'm not gonna do that, I'm aware that it comes with extreme pain and migraines) and if it's even worth trying.
Is a square face always overgrown masseter muscles? If so, by taking regular Botox injections, am I able to go from the square to the oval? Tomorrow I have another injection (2) but further than a meter it looks like a big square
Are my massaster muscles supposed to be engaged while mewing or are they supposed to be relaxed? It feels as if Iβm im trying to bite down but my tongue is holding my teeth back from biting down, am I mewing wrong?
Hello all,
My masseter's are weak so I've been trying to strengthen them with gum chewing. I chew 2 pieces of mastic gum combined together for around 6-8 hours a day and I see results but it's not very fast.
My masseters only start tiring after around the 6 hour mark. And I know muscle only builds when it keeps getting used after getting tired.
Is building masseter muscle meant to be such a long and slow process?
My right masseter has a knot the size of a grape, it's painful and feels thick all the way down to the bottom. My left masseter also has a knot but it's much smaller and less painful. How do you get rid of trigger points in the masseter muscles? What worked for you? Thanks in advance!
