Topsy has her “bad days” on the second Wednesday of the month and when Mary, Jack, and the children show up to Topsy’s on her bad day. Mary Poppins always has her day off on the second Tuesday, but she was not off the day before they visited Topsy.
This film was like the "Force Awakens" of Mary Poppins in that there are a huge number of structural and plot similarities -- something I think Mary Poppins Returns committed twofold. On top of that, the MacGuffin and villainous presence I think betrayed the more theme-centric nature of the original film in favor of cheap, contrived urgency (i.e. the first-film tuppence saving their home at the end, stopping the clock, etc.). Any fix ideas out there?

Successfully scraped in TMM. But when I try to add in Kodi, Kodi ignore Mary Poppins Returns but added Mary Poppins. I have attached the nfo files next to the movie above.
Can someone tell me why Kodi doesn't pick up Mary Poppins Returns?
If they can do a sitcom, no genre is off limits! Do a musical, you cowards!
Think about it. There's already so many talented actors they have in the MCU and ones that have played Marvel characters before. Use some multiverse explanation of them being thrown into a universe where everyone is forced to sing in song or maybe they're all under some magic trance or something. I don't know, This is just a fun idea.

There are some obvious ones I'm forgetting for sure, but really! Think of the possibilities!
Also, this movie would be nothing if it didn't include a solo number for Groot. Just Groot. Him with his great dancing skills we see in Vol 2 and his incredible way with words.
This was all for fun of course, but if they can do a sitcom and a holiday special, they can do a musical and somehow find a way to make it make sense.
Each returns every 20-something years (Pennywise 27, Mary Poppins 25) to regenerate energy from a new group of children, but also have a tendency to return to those they met on their last visit (Pennywise returns to the Losers, Mary Poppins returns to the Banks)
Mary Poppins manages to maintain energy for 25 years despite interacting with less children than Pennywise requires for 27 years as she relies on children’s joy, unlike Pennywise who relies on their fear, and as proven in Monsters Inc children’s laughter is worth more than their fear
Upon each of their returns, they draw a child named Georgie away from their siblings with a paper toy, then appear alongside that toy to return it to Georgie (Mary Poppins returns Georgie's kite, Pennywise acts as though he’s returning Georgie’s boat)
Each has the same set of powers, in which they can take advantage of what lies in the children’s minds (Mary Poppins uses their imagination, Pennywise uses their fear)
Mary Poppins famously has a living reflection that can function separately from her, and Pennywise is shown to share this ability in Chapter Two
In each of these stories, the parents are oblivious to the fantastical situations being experienced by the children
The Losers club forget their experiences as children until Pennywise returns, and although the Banks children do not forget Mary Poppins, they do forget that the magical experiences actually happened, and they remember Mary Poppins as just a nanny
Each has a love for singing and dancing, which should be obvious for Mary Poppins, but becomes clearer for Pennywise when you remember that he refers to himself as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, dances for Beverly in Chapter One, and sings for Richie in Chapter Two
Pennywise is heavily associated with the song Oranges and Lemons, which is a song about old London, where Mary Poppins lives, showing that Pennywise has an awareness that another member of his species is out there, and he knows exactly where they are
Pennywise has a mystical light source called the Deadlights, and although we never see Mary Poppins’ Deadlights, it is likely she has them too, as in Mary Poppins Returns she creates an imaginary crowd of lamplighters to sing the song ‘Trip a Little Light Fantastic’, which may possibly be her way of convincing the children to look into her Deadlights without scaring them into it (It is proven that these lamplighters are fake and created by Mary Poppins, as when Michael hears the children singi

Notable Box Office Stories
- Aquaman - Can't stop MY MAN (how dare Aquaman not have a single "my man!" by the way, 0/10 worst film) as Aquaman came to the US shores after two weeks of international release to a very good $67.4M domestic. That's the 9th best December opening of all time but is notably the worst opening for a film in the DCEU by $30M (previous 'winner' Justice League opened to $93.8M). Now it should be noted that this was always a bit expected as outside of the insanity of the Star Wars movies typically films in December open low and then just multiply like crazy, especially with the big boost of Christmas Eve today and Christmas Day tomorrow, which are traditionally two of the biggest film going days of every year. Let's not forget Avatar opened around the same range in December and ended up topping the all time domestic list. Or last year's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which turned a $36M opening into a $400M domestic run. If you can capture the spot of being the big blockbuster of the season then you are set and with this opening I think Aquaman has stood out from the pack and could easily play like those other two films. International sales alone have been massive, mostly lead by China where the film has grossed $232.8M so far, the 7th best US release in the country. This was a film meant to appeal to a wide global market and has definitely captured something worldwide and now we see if that same foothold will happen here.
- Mary Poppins Returns - MORE LIKE MARY FLOPPINS! Look I give myself one dumb pun a year and I couldn't resist. Much to the surprise of many (including some likely very grumpy Disney execs this Christmas) the incredible long in production sequel Mary Poppins Returns opened to a very underwhelming #2 with $22.2M and $31M for its five-day long release. That's pretty rough, especially for Disney's big splashy end of year release that cost an astonishing $130M to produce. Now as someone who will always be rightly mocked for savaging a December musical opening low that end

Summary:
