I am the Emperor of Tibet. I became the Emperor of Tibet rather quickly (merely 2nd ruler) by basically creating family ties with every Mongolian Clan, thus securing my Northern border and expanding to the south.
A huge civil war started in Mongolia and it is destabilising the entire region. The Khagan's son (Y - clan) is betrothed to my daughter, while the leader of the uprising IS my son-in-law with another daughter (L - clan). The Khagan called me into his civil war, and I accepted - out of politeness. Because my ties with the L-clan are a lot stronger and go way back.
Now, you have to imagine Mongolia is truly a clusterfuck atm. And the Khagan noticed my reluctance to save his ass. So he broke off our alliance and called me a coward. Which is *fair*.
What is confusing me though is why I can't make peace with the Rebel Alliance? The only reason why I am at war with this uprising is because of my alliance. That basis is gone, but i cant offer them peace?
Obviously no country has the entire world on their side. Every country has enemies and allies. Why cannot all the world's leaders try to get along and make peace?
In just a day or two, Aegarys' singular ship holding only himself, ten bodyguards and ship crew was in sight of the Queen Calgaris' ship. Their meeting had been arranged through runners, quite a few runners actually, and since no compromise could be made they had agreed to meet on the open sea, where no one could trick the other.
The small, unnamed ship drew closer to the Calgaris ship.

One of the deck-scrubbers yelled, his loud hopefully loud enough to gain the attention of their...possible allies.
