A list of puns related to "MS Paint Adventures"
Hello people!
I made a dungeon adventure!
HERE IS DEATH is a one-page dungeon set in an abandoned (maybe?) palace deep in the Ultraviolet Grasslands. You don't need UVG to enjoy it as it is compatible with OSR B/X games as well!
In the adventure you will find: 20 rooms β a handful of corridors β O.M.E.G.A. ZOMBIES!!!! β black goo β slimy infective slugs β death β a horrible font β dozens of corpses β and moar!
Also, it is made made completely with MS Paint for being a submission to the MS Paint TTRPG Jam (you still have 18 hrs to participate if you're interested!)
I hope you like it and if you do, it would be cool if you dropped a review (or let me know your criticism, I deeply value it as well!)

I don't think I'm far off assuming that Andrew will continue making more VN games from now on, instead of web comics. We might even get another game in 2021, if not a sequel, after Psycholonials is over with. There's a few reasons why I see this as a logical next step for Hussie.
Ease of access. Sure, games tend to have a pay wall, while reading webcomics is usually free. But Let's Plays are huge, and Hussie even encourages his fans to watch Psycholonials on YouTube. But games as a medium have greater mainstream appeal than web comics. Just look at the success of Undertale in the YouTube scene and the praise it received by game critics. Am I saying that Hussie will make the next Undertale, let alone visual novel hit? No. Maybe. But web comics are rather niche, even though Homestuck had a sizeable online following.
Games can be more profitable than running ads on a website, since everyone's got adblock these days. Maybe not as profitable as when MSPAdventures had a million daily visits during Homestuck's peak. But either way I think merch was probably the biggest source of income for Homestuck, and potentially will be for Psycholonials. Even though it has a small fan base right now, they're already dedicated enough to spend $10 and likely to buy merchandise
There's no need for him to be concerned with archiving his work anymore. The death of Flash lead to Viz Media having to upload compressed versions of all flash animations to YouTube. And the game segments were replaced by slideshows. Having everything coded into a single game is far more effective long term.
Music playing in the background of all the dialogue adds to the atmosphere of wherever the story takes place. And he's able to change the music as he sees fit from one scene to another. Not to mention so many songs from the Homestuck music albums went unused in the comic. So if Hussie decides to commission more music for his future VN games, he can utilize a greater variety of tracks outside of animated cutscenes. I know he's using remixed and unreleased songs from Homestuck in Psycholonials so far, but the potential is there anyway.
As a result of moving from the web comic format to visual novels however, they'll either be much shorter stories, like Psycholonials seems to be. Or they'll take longer, maybe years, to come out before completion, like HS^2.
What do y'all think?
Platform(s): PC

This game has been in the back of my mind for so many years...I found it on one of those flash game websites when I was younger. You were a teenage guy roaming around town completing funny quests on the night of a school dance but the main aim of the game was something to do with some evil guy and magical cheesy bratwursts or something? Sorry I can't remember more details than that...I doubt it would be playable but just to know the name would bring peace to my mind. TY
Jailbreak: The comic's been over for 100 pages.
Bardquest: What Bardquest?
Problem Sleuth: Pickle Inspector equips a machine gun, only to realize he's not strong enough to use it. Middle of Chapter 4.
Homestuck: Rose heads to the observatory so she could reconnect to John and save his life by removing his bedroom door and putting his bathtub back in the bathroom. Near the end of Act 1.
I've been checking out ways this could be done but MSPFA isn't really the kind of way I want to do this and I don't have the money to buy a domain for a website like the creator of PREQUEL did. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to make an entire subreddit as a way to upload it. It would be really helpful if you could post some ideas in the comments. Thanks!
