This is the last training ride before our big event, the 25th annual Breathe Bike Trek! Mark your calendars for for Saturday, September 11, also out of Loomis Basin Park. That ride will have SAG support, rest stops, and a super fun party at the park afterward with catering, a cantina, massage, and more! Friends and family tickets are available soon for people who don't want to ride.

Nighttime, establishing shot of the Prescott home. Crickets chirp, but all else is silent. Maureen Prescott sits at her vanity, looking at her reflection, forlorn.
The house phone rings, which snaps her out of her daze and she answers. "Yes, yes, I'm almost ready. I told you not to call the house," she says in a hushed, but hurried tone, and hangs up.
As she begins to get up from the vanity, the phone rings again. She answers.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Maureen."
"Who is this?"
"Let's just say it's someone you wish you hadn't fucked over."
Tears stinging her eyes, Maureen slams the phone down and backs away. The phone rings again and she reluctantly picks up. She listens for a moment.
"I wouldn't hang up again if I were you. Did you think you could run from your past forever, Maureen? DID YOU?"
Now silently sobbing, "Tell me who this is!" Maureen demands.
"You'll find out soon enough," the menacing voice warns. "But for now, let's play a little game. I'll ask you a question and if you get it wrong, you die, and if you get it right.. you die. Whichever way you slice it, you die".
"I don't like this, I don't want to play!" Maureen pleads.
The music builds.
"You should've thought about that before you decided to ruin people's lives! Now my question is...in a year from now, 10 years from now, 25...Who do you think your daughter will blame for the trajectory of her tragic life? After all, YOU are the one who spent her days fucking around, breaking up marriages, leaving behind illegitimate children."
Maureen is loudly sobbing now, and barely able to speak.
The caller continues. "And trust me, Maureen. We're gonna make sure her life is a living hell, all thanks to you!"
"No, please. Leave her out of this," Maureen begs.
"Just one more question before I go. Where. Am. I?"
"Where are you I don't know, um..." Maureen fumbles for her words through tears.
"Why don't you turn around?" the voice says from behind her. She turns to find Billy Loomis standing in her room. Maureen lets out a scream, and before she can run, he is upon her. It is obviously a crime of passion, and Maureen is shown no mercy. She is left on the floor, gurgling blood.
"A boy's best friend is his mother [a quote from the film Pyscho]...and you took her from me," Billy says teary eyed. He holds up a device to his mouth and speaks into it. "Now I have the final cut". He cuts her one last time.

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"

HALLOWEEN
Officially, there are several different timelines in the Halloween film franchise (5 at last count). However, I believe there is a way to create a head canon that includes ALL of the films in the series in a single continuity. With just a little bit of creative thinking (and not trying to prove any negatives, such as “Why didn’t they mention….” etc.), it is possible to create a single timeline.
To begin, let’s take care of two items…
HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH: The only thing in this film that keeps it from being in continuity is the advertisement on television for the Halloween film. We must simply assume that this is an ad for a low budget movie based on the real events and they happened to cast an actress who looked amazingly like the real Laurie Strode.
Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN and HALLOWEEN II: These are simply fictional movies based on the real events. Any and all continuity issues are artistic license by the filmmakers. One can imagine the residents of Haddonfield going to their local cinema and watching these films that are loosely based on the events in their hometown.
Thus, the main continuity consists of HALLOWEEN (H78), HALLOWEEN II (H2), HALLOWEEN 4 (H4), HALLOWEEN 5 (H5), HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS (H6), HALLOWEEN H20 (H20), HALLOWEEN RESURRECTION (HR), HALLOWEEN (2018) (H18) and HALLOWEEN KILLS (HK)
Here is the timeline, explaining seeming discrepancies along the way:
1957 – Michael Myers is born.
1961 – The person who will be known as Laurie Strode is born to Mr. and Mrs. Myers.
1963 – Michael Myers kills his older sister, Judith.
1965 – Mr. and Mrs. Myers die and Laurie is adopted by the Strodes (per H2)
1978 – The night he came home. The events of H78, H2 and the flashbacks in HK. Michael is in a coma and is hospitalized.
NOTE: To fit the flashbacks from HK into H2, we have to assume that the events of H2 were not presented in the film in the order that they happened. Specifically, when we are cutting back and forth in H2 between Michael at the hospital and Loomis and Hunt searching for Michael, we have to assume the hospital scenes actually occurred later. The flashback scenes in HK would have taken place in H2 after the morgue scene, but before the scene with Loomis and Hunt outside the Myers house. We must presume that Michael was able to retrieve his mask and escape the officers in the flashback (we’ve certainly seen him get out of worse predicaments).

Figured we could have a thread to share/discuss predictions for the movie based on trailers and just pure speculation? I'm bored and am home sick from work so I whipped up my prediction on how things will play out. I'm curious to read how others' may differ!!
Opening attack - Tara is on the phone with GhostFace, who threatens Amber somehow (via FaceTime most likely considering the leaked audition scene mentioned she could "see Amber and GhostFace at the same time"). Tara calls the police during her attack, gets brutalized but fights back and survives long enough for Sheriff Judy Hicks to arrive on the scene and scare GhostFace away. Tara is injured but survives
Day 1 - Intro to all the new kids (Mindy, Chad, Wes, Liv) in a fountain scene or something reminiscent of that from the OG 'Scream' where Vince shows up creeping on Liv; discussion of Tara's attack. Intro to Sam and Richie, who are out of town. Wes calls Sam and breaks the news to her about Tara's attack. Richie accompanies Sam back to Woodsboro. Judy interviews all the kids at school about Tara's attack, assures that two of her deputies (Vinson & Farney) will be stationed at the hospital to protect Tara.
Night 1 - The kids interact that night at a bar/club/arcade, where Vince gets creepy with Liv, causing a kerfuffle between them and Vince. They all leave, but as Vince goes to his car that night, he is attacked and killed.
Day 2 - Sam arrives home just as Gale returns to Woodsboro to cover the case. Sam and Richie are driving and are apprehended by GhostFace, who drives after them in a Jeepers Creepers-esque car stalking scene. They escape narrowly, Sam recalls that mask and her lineage -- admitting to Richie that she's the child of Billy Loomis, who cheated on Sid before the massacre. She's struggled with her mental health having dealt with this shit (the memory of her family lineage tortured her basically) all her life. She visits a retired Dewey for help, who links her attack with the murder of Vince from the night before. Quick Dewey/Gale scene somewhere here as well as Dewey's phone call pleading Sid to come to Woodsboro. Sidney has a happy life somewhere else in California. She declines returning home. Meanwhile, some of Tara's friends (Wes, Mindy, Amber?) meet with Sam and Richie at the hospital, establishing that Amber holds some animosity toward Sam. Mindy invites over Sam, Richie and Dewey to her house. Small reunion with Martha Meeks (mother of Mindy/Chad, sister
