A list of puns related to "London Business School"
Is Cass School of Business a respectable enough school to help me break into investment banks? I am looking at graduate programs for a Master's in Finance. I know there are some better ones in London like the London School of economics, but i'm not 100% certain I can get into those. Anyone go to, or know more about Cass?
Hi everyone I have a unique business background working with my father in an amphibious dukw boat vehicles. I've been the lead commercial and technical person looking at ops and also did a lot of the data analytical work. However, we recently sold some significant assets which resulted in closing the operational part of the business.
I did the forecasts, and Discounted cashflow CAPM modes for the valuation sale. I also lead the negotiations up until the very last moment (shareholders coffee meeting with the buyers for final price). This was a sale which was significant for a company of 100people turnover Β£5m (8figures).
We've recently been looking at two mergers and and a joint venture for the rest of the business.
Given this background and having an interview with an alumni who is probably gonna be an ma or PE expert. What steps do I need to take? Any help on things to read up? All advice welcome.
Does anyone have any information/insights regarding the Masters in Financial Analysis at the London Business school? It says that if you've completed Level 1 of the CFA, you are exempt from the GMAT requirement. Does anyone here have it? Is this a designation worth pursuing over something like a MFin or MBA?
Mods, if you do believe this is not related to the CFA, then I don't mind if you remove it.
I am looking at MBA or EMBA programs in London Business School. Current prices stand at Β£78,500 and Β£84,500 respectively. I am looking for advice of how much it will boost my current career.
Is it worth its money? Is it gonna boost my career opportunities that much?
For reference I am working as Individual contributor in Tech industry with total compensation around Β£115k.
I advise you to exclude the word "wait" from the vocabulary altogether.
And more precisely, replace it with "act."
A proactive attitude will fill your life with daily challenges, overcoming of which growth and success are guaranteed.
I am looking to start a Master's degree program. I am looking to spend 12000 Euros/ 14000 USD (depending on the Fx exchange rate). I have found the LSBF Dual MSc and MA in Strategic Marketing to be quite interesting, however, I can't find a definitive answer to whether the school and it's Master's degree programmes are accredited by the Queen Charter, BAC, or any other accreditation bodies local or international (internally to the UK/ Europe and/ or externally, overseas). Napier University is my second.
My problem is it requires 3-8 years of experience. When i apply next year i will have 1 year of experience (if i apply in January 2021 and enroll August).
Otherwise my grades are good, 4 in GPA.
What are my chances and what could improve it?

I have been working in an boutique investment bank for the past 3 years in south america, I recently got accepted to both London Business School and Cambridge University; however as the title states LBS is a Masters in Finace and Cambridge is the MBA. My goal is to move to a full time position in London in Private Equity or a Bulge bracket IB. Which school and program is better in your opinion? Many thanks
Enjoyed this amusing tale about a candidate who walked from HBS in favor of London and what has since happened.

What are the best PG universities and business schools that accept IELTS score 6.5 for international students in London?
I am a Brazilian Portuguese (dual citizen) film publicist and I have 5 years of expertise in my field working for the Brazilian market.
However, I recently moved to London and I intend to settle down here (you know, marriage took me overseas) but I am trying to break into the film industry in UK and continuing my career.
Since I have no contacts here, I thought it would be a good option to start studying a master here alongside volunteering at film festivals.
My first option is the International Film Business MA at London Film School. Could anyone give me any advice?
My wife and I are planning to holiday in the UK for three weeks in September and were wondering how crowded London is likely to be for tourists in the first week of September.
I work for an investment management company in the US and am being relocated to our London offices for two years soon. I've been accepted to both the LBS and LSE so that I can pursue a masters in finance. Which school should I choose?
LSE is a little cheaper which isn't much of a factor but worth noting should they be that similar of schools. Also, LBS seems to be ranked a lot higher in the research I've done on both schools but I feel that nobody in the US even knows it while everyone knows LSE. Since I'm working in the US after this little excursion, I feel that's a major factor. I'm sure your local perspective is more aware but potentially biased as to what's best for working in the UK. I love London but I'm planning on returning to the US after this is all over.
Thanks for reading this and any advice. Much appreciated.
These guys have done a lot of research on the business side of F1, and their other videos are also worth a watch. Recently I made a post here seeking help finding F1 data resources for an econometrics project that I'm doing, and u/joaovc came through in the clutch. He pointed me towards Professor Haefliger, who then conferred with his colleague and returned to me a long list of great resources. In return for their helpfulness, I feel obligated to promote them in my own small way, so check out this video and if this sort of thing interests you, all of their research is available on the Cass website.
