Anyone else play this game? I got it as a Christmas present this year and I absolutely love it, the perfect game for me. It's so fun, I feel like you don't really get games like this coming out now.
I've noticed a couple cool horror references too, the high school has "Romero" in the name, there's also a place with "Fulci" in the name
The game was written by James Gunn also Jimmy Urine from Mindless self-indulgence did the music for all the boss battles, that is a band which I loved many years ago haha

This is my first time completing a Suda51 game. I have played a bit of killer7 and killer is dead but nothing is as wacky or zaney as lollipop chainsaw. I heard that suda has a pretty different approach to games and that was pretty much obvious.
Story-You play as Juliet sterling, a 18 year old American high school cheerleader/zombie hunter. You must fight the infected zombies summoned by an emo goth in your school to exact revenge on the school for rejecting him while carrying your decapitated talking head of your boyfriend Nick along the way. Almost all the characters are as batshit insane as juliet and my favorite was the pervert sensei Morikiwa. The story doesn't take itself seriously at all even in dire situations and it's a cheesefest from start to finish(in a very good way).
Gameplay-Basically it's a hack and slash. You attack zombies with your pompoms and a chainsaw. You get upgrades for your chainsaw along the way. The combat at first might seem a little clunky but once you unlock a few moves towards the beginning of 2nd chapter, you will be carving your own path through the zombies. It's pretty fun, also the boss fights are pretty fantastic in my opinion.
A short but sweet hack and slash wacky game.The game is not for everyone though. The amount of profanities the game throws around just for the sake of it makes it more so over the top and fun.Also Juliet is as cute as main protagonists come.
Played on RPCS3 at 1080p 30fps.
