German officials admit: Now 10 cases (+2) of Corona-Infection in Bavaria Cluster
Official Press Release (translated)
The german state is still working with the true and tested piecemeal tactics, only announcing a very few cases at a time. It could of course be argued that these new cases were simply only tested now and released asap, but in fact the testing drive at the car manufacturer that is the epicentre of the infection ended Friday and the information that likely the whole family of one of the positvely tested man had been infected was told to the press by doctors at the end of last week, based on symptoms, but those three people were never officially included in the numbers. This looks to me like a planned press and PR tactic to reduce panic - and it's working at the moment.
It is also possible that these two persons were tested before, but showed up negative, which would indicate that the tests used here in Germany are unreliable and that many other tested people, of whom some are not in house-quarantine, could be infected. There is of course no mention of such a possibility either in the presser linked above, because admitting such would really unsettle many people who up to now think that this virus is harmless and controllable. Thoughts?

Did Isabeau of Bavaria Disown Her Son Like Extra Credits Claims?
In their Joan of Arc-series, they state the following two times:
>The King and the Queen of France disinherited their son
I find this claim curious, because every source I have come across solely says that Charles VI of France inherited his son. I thought this was because in this period the basis for disinheritance was disputation of paternity. In this case, it would have been centred around the rumours that Isabeau had cuckolded the King with Louis of OrlΓ©ans, and that Charles the Victorious would have been born from this affair. Hence, the King's decision to disinherit Charles Sr. would have effectually stated that he believes the following:
Charles Jr. is a bastard of Louis
Charles Jr. avenged his real father by murdering John the Fearless
His wife, Isabeau is an adulteress
He has no living sons of his own, thus he designs the Star of England as his successor
So, this just an assumption based on their track record on this subreddit and the tendency to rewrite historical events to empower female figures. Latter would be petty, but I wouldn't put it past them.
Edit: It took nine days but I have been informed that there was no bad history and that she really did disown her son in the Treaty of Tours.

It was an exceptionally warm November day in Bavaria. Almost 20Β° in the valleys due to warm Sahara winds from the South. But Mable and I found a bit lower temperatures and still plenty of snow on Klausenberg (1548 m) in the Alps. A nice climb with 900 m elevation gain.

The Archdiocese of Munich and Freising (Bavaria, Germany) has released its archival holdings online!
Hi,
the (Catholic) Archdiocese of Munich and Freising, which covers large parts of southeastern Bavaria, has released its holdings online.
Southeastern Bavaria did not see as much emigration as Bavaria's share of the Palatinate, so it's probably not that interesting for folks hanging out here, but it's nonetheless good news that such an important Catholic archive would release its holdings to the public. I hope that more bishoprics will follow suit soon.
