A list of puns related to "List of music arrangers"
If you have a longer story, feel free to share it in the comments.
My band is thinking about doing a show highlighting music by artists of color, and as I was thinking, I googled the names of some big arrangers I know (Jay Bocook, Paul Lavender, etc.) and saw most arrangers I know are old white men. Are there any great arrangers you know of for marching band who are BIPOC?
The idea is that we can be more intentional in the show by not only playing music by artists of color, but also have the arrangers be more diverse.
My name is Skotein AKA Braxton B., and I'm the creator of a project called PokΓ©mon Reorchestrated (http://www.pokemonsymphony.com/). I recently released a 35-track album of orchestral music from PokΓ©mon Red and Blue called 'Kanto Symphony,' now available on iTunes and Joypad Records (http://www.joypadrecords.com/).

The album is fully licensed by Joypad Records, a record label based in San Francisco that deals with copyright clearance and legally licensing video game covers such as the ultra-popular Lindsey Stirling & Peter Hollens' cover of 'Skyrim', among others: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSLPH9d-jsI
I've been getting a lot of questions about the album, so let's get down and geeky!
EDIT: The questions have been simmering down a bit, so I think I'll call it a night. I'll be around tomorrow afternoon PST if anyone else has more questions, though! Sleep tight, all.
EDIT 2: All right, I think that concludes this AMA. Thank you, everyone, for all of your awesome questions and checking out the album! Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some music midterms to study for. @-@;

I have a yamaha psre353 as an arranger but I cant access it for now because of lockdown. I was planning to buy a midi keyboard with good keybed and minimum knobs and faders. Since I play piano style and am a beginner in DAW, I have no idea how important are knobs and faders and pads for things such as looping and all.
Is it better to buy a roland a49 along with a separate akaipad or buy something else? I want the best combo with my arranger since it can be used as a midi too but only for its keybed. I mostly play piano and strings but would love to start learning looping, altough I have seen mostly looping requires pads too in midi.
What will the best buy for me considering all of this? I'm really confused.
Also, will I really be benefitted by a midi or shall I make do with learning guitar for 6 months and avoid unnecessary waste of money in midi? I admit midis are very portable compared to my yamaha keyboard but still this midi is even costlier than my arranger which has inbuilt sounds more octaves inbuilt speakers as well as a midi slot.
I thought this might be interesting to folks who love the music from the game. So here ya go! https://billpiyatut.com/ghost-arrangers-diary

Hey, the lords of reddit, I'm thinking of buying an arranger keyboard which supports midi output and external sound output. Confused whether to go with yamaha or casio. The ones i'm looking at right now is yamaha psr 373/273 and casio cts 300. Which one should i go with? Or are there better options than this?
I'd be so kind to your wisdom, thank you :)
Just want to give a shout-out to those music arrangers that donβt get enough credit. I LOVE Yoko Shimomura but I feel people praise her while ignoring other people that help with the music.
Yuki Kishida - They helped with such songs as βVector to the Heavens remixβ in the limitcut dlc, along with the SaΓ―x limitcut theme and the young Xehanort limitcut theme. As far as I can tell itβs the only songs they helped with, but they are downright bangers.
Sachiko Miyano - They helped with the limitcut themes of Master Xehanort, Marluxia & Ansem SOD.
Takeharu Ishimoto - Responsible for a quarter of the kh3 soundtrack. I know their involvement is slightly controversial because some people are not fans of their work, but I think it still deserves recognition. Enter the Darkness is one of their greatest tracks. And the version in kh3 (also arranged by them) is an awesome track. Not to mention the following: Titanic Clash, Verum Rex, Anger Unchained, all of the pirates themes, all San Fransokyo themes, and ever so controversially the final boss theme for kh3 which I donβt think is as bad as people say lol.
Shotaru Shima - they arranged most of the Kingdom of Corona music, the new rowdy rumble theme, the corona version of tension rising and most GLORIOUSLY the battle theme where you play as Roxas and the scene featuring Roxasβs return.
Yuko Komiyama - they arranged Unforgettable kh3 version, all of the link and attraction flow songs, xigbar limitcut song, Luxord limitcut song, key of the brave and link to all.
Those are the ones I found did some really amazing work and I want to mention but yeah. Love love LOVE Yoko but letβs give these guys some love too. β€οΈ
My wife has discovered the skam universe and loves it. She is currently loving skam france season 3, especially the music and the soundtrack.
She would love to know who was the arranger? who decided what music should be used when in the show and so forth. Any ideas how to find that?
Here are some samples of my musical works I've compiled together across a variety of genres from funk to chip-tune hybrids. I realize some things don't sound very game-like, but I am not so much interested in the typical generic/retro background music.

I'm looking to get a credit list for myself going. This means free music services for anyone who intrigues me! If you think I suit your particular project, do propose to me what you desire or require. I must warn in advance that I am a busy person, but will try to provide your project with attention if I have enough belief in it.
