A list of puns related to "List of lost films"
I've recently gotten into Eberron, on top of a couple of other things. I've been reading up on the setting, and have been watching a few of the films the Campaign Guide recommends. Along with that, I have a couple of series that I find give me a few ideas for Eberron adventures.
First, I find a good deal of similarities between Eberron and Fullmetal Alchemist. Both have their magic a part of their technology, economy, and military (Dragonmarked Houses, Magewrites, War Magic; State Alchemists, the study of Alchemy), similar technology levels (Trains, Prothstetics; Lightning rails, Automail), the shadow of a devastating war looming over the country (the Last War in Khorvaire; The Ishval Civil War), and a whole lot of intrigue. I think they're a good match.
Second, I also find some similarities, albeit a little less so, in Mike Mignola's Hellboy. I've only recently started reading through the 'mignolaverse', so my knowledge is somewhat limited. Mainly, is see similarities in the fact that there's a lot of ancient evils in tin cans trying to break out (Daelkyr, Lords of Dust, Quori; Demons, Ancient Witches), spooky-cult stuff (Cults of the Dragon Below, Emerald Claw, Followers of the Lord of Blades; Occult Nazi Shennanigans), and the general dark ambiance in those regards. I could see BRPD-esque adventuring organizations in charge of digging out cults and containing ancient evils. The whole thing with the Daughters of Sora Kell gives me ideas of Baba Yaga and the kerfuffle with the witches in England, along with Ogdru Jahad feeling like a perfect example of an abomination from the Age of Demons.
Anything that inspired you guys and your campaigns?

Before I get into my list I'd like to invite you all to my socially distanced Halloween party on Zoom too; you must be double jabbed to attend (I'm thinking of restricting it even further so that only those of us who have had their first booster jab can attend; I was inspired by Israel's brave and reasonable decision to do the same with their vaccine passport!!) and you must wear a face-mask, even if you're wearing a Michael Myers or Ghostface mask!! I'm going as the Delta variant, as there is nothing more terrifying!!
Here is my list of essential horror films for Halloween 2021:
Contagion: Literally the past year and a half. My hubby and I watched this movie on Netflix during first lockdown, snuggled together on the couch underneath a blanket in our matching Minion onesies and bear slippers, warming our hands on our hotty-hotty-choc-chocs like Baby Yoda with his little mug in that one meme I've shared a thousand times on Facebook. 10/10
John Carter: The Thing: I discovered this hidden gem the other day!! A group of men (ugh) are socially distancing in the North Pole but one of them is unvaccinated and is passing the virus to the others. It's basically Among Us: The Movie, with Kurt Cobain trying to figure out who the filthy plague-rat is. The jump-scare during the lateral flow test scene is one of the most spooky things I've ever seen. The CGI hasn't aged very well. 3/10
Quarantine: An outbreak of Covid happens in an apartment complex and the government turns up to help those inside and does a damn fine job of it. There's a Spanish shot-for-shot remake which I've heard is pretty good but subtitles make my head hurt so I think we should all stick to this one. 7/10
The Breakfast Club: A group of teenagers are led astray by an anti-vax shit-head chud who thinks he's a rebel but he's actually just putting everyone's lives at risk and just needs to die already. That poor Principal's authority is defied at every turn and it's sickening to see!! VERY PROBLEMATIC MOVIE AND NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART OR EASILY TRIGGERED. 0/10
28 Days Later: What would have happened if we didn't lockdown at the start of all this. The shots of an empty London make me recall fond memories of first lockdown when I was baking bread, browsing Reddit and playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons from the safety and warmth of my bedsheet cocoon. 5/10
Those are my films. I know I've thrown a few obscure deep-cuts in there but they're worth a watch, unlike **I Am Lege

The Pure Cinema Podcastβs Summer of Quentin continues with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino joining hosts Elric Kane & Brian Saur for a truly epic, four hour conversation about public domain movies. Unlike many other episodes, all of the movies discussed on this new episode can be watched on YouTube, as they are all ostensibly in the public domain.
They were talking about a few channels to follow on youtube as well, like pizzaflix and dk classics.
I think I miss one or 2 films on the list.
I thought maybe some of you might appreciate it.

#Notes:
These averages are based on the 2021 season. Not their whole career.
I didn't include types of pitches that were thrown less than 3 times. So say David Price threw a 4 seam fastball only once, I didn't include that in this table when averaging out the rpms lost.
I didn't include pitchers that threw less than 15 pitches. That said, I didn't see much change from those pitchers that were excluded for this reason.
I also didn't include pitchers that had less than an average of 80 rpms lost.
This is not very scientific. I just wanted to compile this list for people to see. Make of it what you will.

#Edit:
since there may be some confusion about things... I only made this because I saw Bauer's name thrown around yesterday as someone that dropped significantly in spin rate. I went through every game that day and these were the outliers. Most of the pitchers didn't have much variance vs the avg spin rate for the season. It was usually + or - within 50 rpms and it co

Planning to go through some of the Film & 40s but I can't seem to find a show page where they all exist. Does anyone have a full list available or a link to the show page? Thanks!

Refs were absolutely on somthing last night during the Nuggets/Kings Matchup. Kings played great and inspired basketball to launch a comeback with Haliburton, fox, hield, and barnes being key. the game was unfortunately marred with awful refereeing.
These will all be from legal and official sources, so none of these links will be taken down in the future. Most of these are classic and older films, but I've included some more modern films as well.
