Hi, I graduate college in May 2020. I am currently working as a case assembler / immigration analyst at a law firm in San Francisco, which I started since this September. I am going to be converted full-time soon, but I eventually want to leave my job and get a permanent remote job. I am an IT major, but did not go to law school, and I do dream of becoming a paralegal or a legal role in a similar title. I am looking for a salary of $55K-$60K as of now.
I would like to leave this job, because I am tired of commuting to San Francisco and I don't want to do this for the rest of my life and I also don't want to have to deal with leaving the house, putting on clothes, packing up lunch, other logistics, etc. to go to work for the rest of my life. I also hate living in California (expensive and horrible place to live) and I need to get out of here so badly in the next 1.5 years when my car lease ends. I really want to move back to the East Coast where I am from, but I don't want to have to deal with the complications of lining an in person job up, so that would be another reason to get a remote job.
I am struggling to look for remote work, but I have been applying to some, but not enough per day. Most of the job postings are either scams and a lot of non-scam postings suddenly lie in the posting saying the position "will be in-person starting next year", or "will be remote until further notice", or "hybrid". I noticed this a lot on LinkedIn and Indeed. I paid for FlexJobs, which is free of scams and lies and I cancelled my subscription, because not enough postings were on there. Even Remote.co doesn't even have enough postings. Even the Robert Half site doesn't have enough full-time permanently remote permanent employee positions and a lot of their positions are full of lies too.
Does anyone know of any big law firms that hire full time and permanently remote paralegals/similar job titles? What other website can I go on that has plentiful of remote jobs with no lies in their descriptions (whether paid site or not)?

I (30sF) am getting married in a couple of weeks & have run into drama. I decided not to invite one of my aunts (“Aunt E”) for various reasons:
We don’t have a relationship/bond. We don’t speak & She didn’t say a word when we announced our engagement. In the past, she brags, one-ups me, or makes backhanded remarks. Her 1st marriage was to an alcoholic who made sexualized comments about me to MY DAD when I was a kid. She’s also super conservative, anti-gay, anti-vaxx, etc. I just don’t like her and don’t want her around.
Approx. 6mos ago I told my gma that my dad & Aunt E weren’t invited. She was sad about my dad but understood (long story), & asked why Aunt E wasn’t invited. I told her that I didn’t have a relationship with her and wanted to invite others. She was neutral & understanding.
In Oct, I won an award at work & told another aunt about it (Aunt K). She was proud and asked to share the news. Next day,she asks if Aunt E was invited bc she didn’t get a Save-The-Date. I said Aunt E wasn’t invited. She asked why and I gave her the same answer I gave gma. 2 days later I get a long text about not inviting Aunt E. Don’t I know how upset Aunt E will be?! Don’t I know that I’m hurting her feelings?! Aunt E has always loved me and been a part of my life! She’s family! I told her: it’s our wedding-we call the shots, we only want people there who are supportive, she’s treating me like a child, & is concerned about Aunt Es feelings but doesn’t consider she’s hurting my feelings, etc. I wrapped up the message telling Aunt K that if she’s too mad, then I understood if she didn’t want to come. Also said that wouldn’t continue to discuss the topic, & pointed out that she had told Aunt E about me winning an award, but Aunt E never reached out to me about it…zero relationship.
Aunt K and I moved passed it. This weekend, my mom told me gma was upset & claimed she just found out Aunt E wasn’t invited. Gma says she’s thinking of having Aunt E come as her plus-one. Wtf.
Not only did I already tell gma about this, but now she wants to go behind my back because she feels bad for Aunt E?! I told mom that the situation reeked of Aunt K’s meddling, and she confirmed that Gma talked to Aunt K. Mom offered to tell gma that the guest list is final and she can’t change her original plus-1 (obviously we can but that’s an easy excuse), & that I’m hurt she would try to go behind my back.
