A list of puns related to "List of calculus topics"
Hello everyone,
I've been endlessly googling this and I can't get a definite answer. Can someone please tell me a list of topics in statistics I should know to get started with machine learning.
And will further statistics be learned while one learns machine learning or does one have to specifically learn more stats topics before moving onto the next phase of learning ML?
Thank you so much!
Hello, I'm math/physics double major and for a while I thought about taking a calculus of variations book for self-study since many physicists recommend it, however I stumbled across an optional course in my uni that offers multivariable "analysis" (or calculus) for students who finished real analysis 1&2 which got me really interested in the content of such course.
So I'm wondering, should I choose calculus of variations since I already have calculus 3 in my program or would it be more useful learn more multivariable calculus?
Also is there overlap between the two or not? If yes which one would be more broad and generic than the other?
I still don't know whether I will be an applied mathematician or theoretical physicist but I lean more to physics so which is more important?
I might consider self-learning them both depending on the situation.
Thanks for reading.
I know there are many things that JW says that aren't true, but lots of them can't come to my mind. I have to make a list of false things/teachings that JW and the GB have said. I am going to show this list to my PIMI parents because they wanted me to explain what I don't believe about JW by tonight. I need to know some things that y'all also questioned to be false.
Don't make it sound too "apostate" because although my parents were kind about me not wanting to be a JW, my dad will no doubt go into 'elder-mode' and notify his crew, leading to them DFing me. I wanna play it safe. Thanks!
So far in class we have went over average rate of change calculations, limits, the derivative and some pre-calc algebra and trigonometry.
Are any of these topics or any other topics you can think of more helpful than others to build a stronger base of knowledge for this course? What problems should I focus on solving?
Hello, I have to make a presentation on a Calculus 1 topic. I want to do an interesting topic. Does anyone have any good ideas about this?
A couple of days ago, I updated the Wikipedia entry on Perjury to include Ken Griffin.
Today I decided to add Jim Swartwout, President and COO of Robinhood Securities to the Wikipedia list of people accused of insider trading in the US.
This is getting fun....
See it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insider_trading

A lot of people have different opinions on this..some day you should go through every topic 100%, some say you only need a small portion of the several topics. So I want to hear you guys opinions.
This is the "basics of calculcus" area which already takes a while to go through, assuming you want to do every single video.. This is where I currently am. There are so many topics just about basic limits, and I feel like actually going through every video is a waste of time, because alot of the topics are not even needed for ML.
Is that asumption correct?
Also, this is the Multivariable Calculus part, which includes a bunch of videos as well.
I would just like to know what parts/videos I should actually take a look at, and which ones I can skip. Like I said, I am currently doing the "basics of calculcus", so I have more interest in knowing what to skip and actually do in this area.
Thanks for anyone who spends the time to let me know.
They can be politically incorrect or controversial, itβs not important here. Iβm tired of people banning free speech.

Hi! my first semester of college. Looking for some videos/channels on the topics of Calculus 1 (currently at limits) and linear algebra since i'm not receiving normal classes and it's a bit hard for me to understand those topics online! Thank you!
I've found the following on the LoC website, but I'm looking for something much more granular: https://www.loc.gov/aba/publications/FreeLCC/freelcc.html.
Essentially, I'm looking to start a note card classification system a la Ryan Holladay, and I'm hoping to use the Library of Congress system to organize my notes.
HEY YOU DYSFUNCTIONAL UNMOTIVATED DUDE (or dudette) !!!!!
BOY DO I HAVE A GREAT IDEA FOR YOU!!!
TLDR: Iβve made the perfect To-Do list whiteboard format for people struggling with making one that is ENGAGING and FUN.

(Intro/bla bla bla/explaining the topic)
Ever since Medication was introduced to me after being diagnosed with ADHD, Iβve been SUPER fascinated by Organisation and self-improvement (exercise, self-love, good food/vitamins etc.). One of the many organisational tools Iβve taken from various forums and articles was the TO-DO LIST!
Now Iβve expanded on the BASIC and SIMPLE weekday organiser...
E.g. MON | TUE | WED | THUR | FRI
And CREATED a FUN and very ENGAGING To-Do list thatβs very ADHD Friendly.
I call it... the βthis is what happens when you take Vyvanse during a coronavirus lockdown calendar.β
HOW DOES IT WORK?
(Intro to explaining how it works)
So the way it works is by making your To-Do list engaging, rewarding and structured, so your ADHD mind has stimulation! (Thatβs right, folks, weβre stimulating the most non-stimulating tasks known to man, aka: βORGANISING AND DOING CRAP YOU DONβT WANNA DOβ)
(Have a look at the photos so you can picture what Iβm telling you heaps better. Hereβs a link, so you donβt lose concentration trying to find the link at the top of the post: https://imgur.com/gallery/HDejvhS
(Actually, how it works)
Now that youβve seen the picture, itβll be a bit easier to explain with dot points.
On the left of the whiteboard is where you divide 2-3-4 sections of your life that are important. I wrote, βWORKβ up top in red, M&M Advertisement Solutions (which is my business Iβm starting, you can change this to a hobby if it works better for you) in blue and βhomeβ (my personal life) in green. (Make sure you keep the sections to a minimum as you donβt want to overload yourself with too many options, we all know how that goes...)
The right side (the larger long rectangular-shaped sections) of the whiteboard are where all your STICKY NOTES (Post It Notes for all you Americans) will go (make sure they are extra sticky ones). These Sticky Notes will be your TASKS that you will assign yourself whenever something you remember pops up into that crazy brain of yours :)
The Sections that hold your STICKY NOTES (Post It Notes) Will allow room for 10-15 Note
Ill be taking Calculus II in a month or so. Can someone tell me the topics/list of topics that will be covered throughout the course?
