A list of puns related to "List of books on Liberation War of Bangladesh"
Iโm in Dhaka at the moment and have taken the opportunity to learn a bit about the creation of Bangladesh and the preceding war. Iโm curious what US attitudes were like at that time. Did the US ever consider involving itself? Was there any push to do so among US citizens or were people too focused (and tired of) involvement in Vietnam?
This is for a Campaign I'm going to run in two weeks time. I do have a list of species written up and the option to be on either side of the war(having the group create both Separatist and Republic characters fully believing in their heroism). I'm trying to write up a comprehensive list so people can choose characters that might be on a side easier(obviously there may be some differences, as not all humans might fight for the Republic and not all Nemoidians may side with the Trade Federation.
For example of the list, the Nemoidians, Gossam, Skakoan, Muun and Geonosians are largely the face of villainy for the Separatists. Also sided with the Separatists are the Umbarans(during the "Umbara"arc of Clone Wars, despite "ROTS"saying that they're largely Republic friendly). The humans(mainly),clones(definitely), Wookies, Kaminoans and Rodians(despite some flip flopping)are on the side of the Republic. Mandalore is neutral(at least in the time period I'm in, with Satine in power.)
Any help would be appreciated, as Wookiepedia doesn't reveal all in some cases.

The combined forces of GMVA, GoG and NADSC as well as many other non corp Galmil, have performed admirably and reached the highest levels of combat efficiency. We thank them for their service.
Citizens of the newly liberated systems can rest easy knowing that the Gallente Militia are dedicated to restoring infrastructure and services in affected areas. As well as guaranteeing all civil rights and liberties granted to all gallente peoples. We will rebuild and we will prosper together.

I imagine Star Wars books are a frequent topic here but I'd like to collect some opinions for myself. I'm looking for Star Wars books that build and expand on the movies.
Note: the EU is still canon in my mind so don't be afraid!
My favourite character is Obi-Wan, so more that tells his story would be great. I'm less interested in the stuff that happens post episode 6, though if good books are recommended I'll certainly consider them. I hear a lot of praise for the Thrawn trilogy. Would this be a natural starting point?

Ye sare shuru se hi apna alag raag sunate hain and some of the op eds from that time of Muslim media seem so evil now in retrospect
But let us retrospect to understand how common Muslims are influenced by the influencers of their community
I am only posting the excerpts of Muslim news papers and op eds based in India -

Phase One (Prior to 23 March 1971) - When it was hoped that some kind of solution can be reached without India's intervention -
> The following quotation from Radiance (Delhi; 14 March 1971) nicely conveys the general reasoning. "The people of East Pakistan," the editorial said, "have risen as one man in support of Sheikh Mujib. The only force which stands in the way of a totally Marxist and independent East Bengal is Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. As such he deserves to be welcomed with open arms by the Western wing, notwithstanding his six points and four conditions."
Phase Two (23 March - 3 December 1971) - preparation of war, India's help to Mukti Bahini
> In pursuance of such feelings they urged upon the government of India a policy of "wait and see." On 4 April 1971, Radiance wrote with approval of India's "balanced policy," and urged continued discretion. An editorial in the **Jamiat Times (9 April 1971) was, however, a bit more critical, even somewhat cynical. It equated the issue of Bangladesh with that of Kashmir,**twitted the government of India for showing concern for the Muslims of East Bengal but neglecting the Muslims of India, and suggested that the government of India should either act in this instance the same way it did vis-a-vis communal riots in India, i.e. do nothing, or else it should recognise the Bangladesh Government in Exile and "turn Pakistani lies into truth."
> Some other suggestions, made in the initial stages as well as later in the year, were: (i) the government of India should actively discourage the East Bengalis lest their example come to be imitated by the dissidents in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu; (ii) the government of India should hold direct talks with Yahya Khan on all issues in order to settle them bilate
