A list of puns related to "List of basketball shoe brands"
Shoes are a topic I haven't covered very much in this sub, so I thought a post was in order.
I am pretty loyal to Eileen Fisher, and have maybe 20 pairs of her shoes, from boots to simple rope and leather slide sandals.
Other brands I like:
Target's brands are hit or miss in shoes, but they often have fashionable and trendy shoes like these adorable mules for less.
Zara shoes run small and narrow, so size up, but for trendy and quirky shoes that look much higher end than they are, this is a great place to go.
Jeffrey Campbell has a very wide range of shoe styles, mostly ultra-trendy. The signature Jeffrey Campbell look is "twisted femme hippie", so interesting fabrications, styles, heels, appliques, all with statement, "notice-me" looks.
Sam Edelman makes elegant and whimsical shoes. Runs a bit narrow and small, I generally size up. His silk dupioni shoes are very affordable for the quality.
For clogs or clog-like sandals: Free People all the way. They run about a half size small, so if you're a 39 or 8.5/9 normally, I'd size up to a 40 in their styles. Free People also has a specific "look"---effortless cool girl. They specialize in super fun, wild, often impractically high heeled clogs and wooden-sole shoes. I've had a few pairs that have lasted for years, quality is good for price.
What shoe brands do y'all love? Chime in!

Hey everyone and thanks to you all for the valuable insights over the years!
After some hard work and elbow grease, I'm ready to share what I've been working on. It's a new website with the vision of adding every minimalist/barefoot shoe brand I could find on the internet π
I've often found it difficult to find brands by the different types of shoes/boots/sandals they make, so the website includes filters to help you find the brands that make what you're looking for.
So far, you can filter by types of shoes, activities (casual, formal, business etc), sex and key features.
I'm at the start of my journey in learning how to build websites and I've tried to make it at simple to use as possible. I hope it provides at least some value back to you bunch of awesome people.
This is just the newest version and I'd love to hear what you guys think. Even more importantly, I'd love to hear what you would like to see to make it even more valuable for you π
Check it out here - Minimal-list
Happy to answer any questions!
Thanks, Adam
I just got my first business casual job and will be going out this week to purchase 2 pairs of shoes to alternate daily.
I am wondering if anyone could throw together a list of brands in quality order for me to check out? I live in a city and plan to hit up a bunch of different stores to try on all qualities of shoes to see levels of comfort and sizes by brand then possibly pick something up online or thrift shop as my budget is about $100-200 per shoe.

Hi everyone, this is my first post here in r/Sneakers.
am from the philippines and just want to know your thoughts on this.
If we peg 1 US dollar = 45 Philippine pesos
Nike Hyperdunk is $140 at nike.com. that's equivalent to around P6,300.
Here in Manila it retails at P8,195. that's almost 1,900 pesos more expensive... kinda like 40-45 USD more!! wow!
What are the other costs that produce such a high markup? different US tax rates? customs? location rents? importation tax?
just to give me a reason to justify any major bball shoe purchase, by ANY foreign brand here :)
thanks, all.
