I think her character makes the most sense for a spinoff thematically (there are endless possibilities you could go with the Kitsune's) .

1.She was a likeable character who actually felt more like Scott's equal when they dated and she had with a interesting supernatural mythology attached to her that could carry a series.There is even to this day nothing like a tv show about Kitsune's on American tv amongst a sea of vampire , witch and werewolf shows it would have stood out. A kira spin off would have introduced us to more cool kitsune's.

3.At the time it would have probably gotten a lot of praise for being probably at the time the only drama tv show with an asian female lead and a primarily asian supporting cast. The way Arden was treated e.g... written out without telling her she was out and them only telling her later was pretty disrespectful.

4.The way Kira was written out felt more like a spin off ending than a we are writing out this character and Scott and Malia are a no for me lol.

I thinking of writing a Kira Kitsune fanfic novella.

scott: kinda boring lowkey but funny in the earlier seasons

stiles: 10/10 totally understand why hes the fan favourite. very swag and deserved better

allison: also kinda boring lowkey. deserved more underlying motivations

lydia: i love her sass. she subverted the superficial popular girl stereotype which was cool

derek: cousin miguel was very swag. the show wasnt the same without him in 5/6

jackson: i dont like him but he functioned well in the story and some of his lines were funny

isaac: very funny w his pessimism. deserved a better childhood. also hes bri ish

danny: just a chill dude

peter: i dont like him as much as everyone else but his sarcasm is funny

boyd: deserved more development. seemed cool, they didnt do enough with him

erica: i didnt like her earlier but i actually kinda like her now

noah: very very well written. him & stiles have some of the most emotional scenes

melissa: i love her!! she was very cool

gerard: how many times do we have to teach you this lesson old man

victoria: actually a really cool and menacing villain. the scene where she cuts herself and goes to the hospital is wack

chris: very cool development. swaggy

ethan and aiden: i know theyre not the same person but i didnt find them that interesting

deaton: he was helpful & i liked him. kinda secretly expected him to be a twist villain ngl

cora: she was aight

kira: deserved more of an arc. also shouldnt have been written off the way she did. i loved her

malia: very funny but also how the hell can she even make sense of high school math what

liam: i love him and relate to him a bit too much. probably the best written in 4 and 6b.

mason: deserved deeper motivations. has a lot of funny lines & banter with liam. swag dude

theo: suspiciously well written for being in teen wolf, actually had kind of a cool half redemption arc. gold medalist of the trauma olympics

corey: i have no idea why i like him so much but i have a soft spot for him leave me alone

hayden: she existed. thats all i can say

monroe: literally the worst villain

coach: saved the best for last. a god among men. every one of his lines is absolute gold

-talks about his obsession with Slade,

Season 2: Terra

-talks about how she became a member of TT and how she became their greatest enemy.

Season 3: Cyborg

-talks about his personal vendetta against Brother Blood.

Season 4: Raven

-talks about her dark past.

Season 5: Beast Boy

-talks about his past that he was once a member of a superhero group and learned how to not let his emotions get in the way by learning how to become a leader on his own and letting go of his love interest.

Season 6: Starfire

-She needs her own season tbh and maybe it will talk about her past being enslaved by an unknown alien race.

Season 7: Jericho

-talks about how Jericho met the Titans and might reveal more about Slade's origins through his son's origin story and we might meet some of Slade's kids like Grant and Rose Wilson.

Season 8 (Final Season): ???

Sadly we might not get Season 6 but all of this is just my headcanon on how it might happen. So don't take it seriously and yeah that's it XD.

INTRO

So, after failing to make an actual fun/interesting bow build (extremely disappointed that Arrows of Biting STILL don't work as advertised), I decided to take a look at two other weapons I rarely deal with: crossbows and darts (mainly crossbows).

Now, one problem I personally have with most ranged weapons is that I'm a massive hoarder which means I can have a million special arrows/bolts/darts, but I never want to use them. Besides, if you're not careful you can easily use up a ton of ammunition (eg killing Sword Coast Stratagems aka SCS Firkraag with a max level Archer with a whopping -12 thac0 still uses up ~60 Arrows of Biting if you're using them exclusively).

Well, what do you do when you want to use some limited resource in BG2 without actually spending that resource? You abuse clones. That's not a new idea in and of itself, ofc, but for as much as I see people talking about using clones to avoid wasting weapon charges or (in the case of non-SCS players) quick item charges and scrolls, I never see anybody mentioning the possibility of using clones to use special ammunition freely.

But how good are all those special ammunitions though? And what kind of builds can we make to abuse them? Let's take a look at some nonsense I came up with.

NOTEWORTHY AMMUNITION AND WHERE TO FIND IT EARLY

First of all, I'm gonna be focusing especially (but not exclusively) on pre-Brynnlaw stuff. Why? That's just a personal preference, as most of my playtime is spent on Chapter 2 SoA, so I really like when I can do something before heading out to Brynnlaw.

Second, I'm talking about clones (high level stuff), so it should be obvious that I'm not gonna be focusing on BG1.

Third, notice that I said noteworthy, so yes, there are other special arrows/bolts/darts, of course.

ARROWS:

Arrows of Biting (Counts as +1):

-DOESN'T DO WHAT IT SAYS IN BG2EE. It only does 1d6 + 1 poison damage per sec over 20 secs... Not bad, but disappointing as hell.

-You can get 200 right at the Armourer/Fletcher at Waukeen's.

Arrows of Detonation (Counts as +1):

-Pre-ToB it's only available as very rare random treasure (but not available at all with SCS apparently, though I might be wrong). Some EE content (Neera's and Rasaad's) in ToB gives you some, so you can abuse clones to make those few arrows last forever.

-6d6 fire damage with a save vs spells for half, so if you can find them, spamming them with clones is nice.

I remember this book (or series of books, though I more remember it as a one-off) that I read when I was between the ages of eight-fourteen, I'd say (around 2003-2009). It may have been slightly after that, but not before.

I don't remember all that much about it other than a few generals, and one specific scene / plotline. The main characters were all younger, probably early-to-mid teens. The main character probably was a male, and secondary / tertiary characters were the main character's friends and their families, etc. . . I don't believe it was a super well-known book or author, or anything. The general facts aren't really helpful, to be honest! Luckily, I do remember one plotline that should help.

The one specific scene / plotline I remember VERY clearly, though, was; One of the main character's friends, a trouble-maker, wanted to prank his older sister. He hid by the road waiting for her to drive home - when he saw her car, he either hopped out (pretending to be a ghost), or had rigged something to fly up into the air if he pulled on it? Either way, she was scared, swerved, and crashed into a tree / telephone pole. The sister either died or was seriously injured, and much of the chapter was spent dealing with the repercussions. I'm pretty sure this was close to the end of the book.

I do also vaguely remember a scene where the main character and his friends were swimming in a lake, and I believe the trouble-making friend had a fish / some aquatic animal bite him in a sensitive area, though I'm iffy on that. I think it was before the sister's death, though.

Any ideas?

Let me start by saying this is my completely biased opinion. I’ll be rating the characters by personality.

Overall, I think the camera work/ makeup is really amazing and at first I thought this would be a slightly better TVD, and honestly I have to eat my words. The characters seem complex and I hope that nobody gets crapped on in terms of character in later episodes.

The update: I’m only on episode 10 but I have so much to say that I had to come back early.

Scott: 3/10 I cannot stand him. He kisses Lydia, KNOWING FULL WELL that Stiles loves her. Now before the Scott stans come at me, although Lydia kissed him, he kissed her back and didn’t pull away. Plus his only facial expression is 😡.

Stiles 8/10 Please get some better friends, mate! His best friend breaks bro code and he’s still hanging around to get screwed over time and time again. I’m glad he sort of confronted him though.

Derek(I mixed up Derek and Jackson before so please consider Derek’s rating Jackson’s. This rating is for DEREK.) 5/10 He switched up so fast it’s insane. Honestly the only reason why he’s not a 2 is because his uncle is his family.

Derek’s uncle 4/10 I have 7 words for him. I. Can’t. Stand. Him. I. Called. It.

Momma Mcall- 8/10 I’m so sorry that I disrespected you. She is literally so awesome it shouldn’t be legal. I have no choice but to stan her.

Jackson- screw you/10 He is the definition of jerk face. After he broke up with Lydia calling her dead weight and then proceeded to make her feel uncomfortable after kissing Scott when they weren’t even together. And he is so inconsiderate about Lydia’s trauma when she asked him not to leave her alone in the car.

Mr. Argent- 6/10 You’re a grown man, leave these high schoolers alone! He gets points for being Russell Prime but that’s it.

Alison Argent- 7/10 I have a phrase that sums her up, “So pick me, choose me, love me” This girl is so desperate for approval that she proceeds to flirt with her semi-ex boyfriend’s arch nemesis?!?! I still have no choice but to love her.

Opinion: med schools are shooting themselves in the foot with unique secondary prompts. It makes it harder to find applicants that are genuinely enthusiastic about their school because all of our essays are tailored to them by virtue of their questions being unique.

There should be a list of 20 available questions for schools to choose from. It'd be easier on applicants in general but would also make it more obvious to schools when we care to tailor a response to them.

This opinion may or may not be motivated by some classic secondary season exhaustion.

Interested to see what the answers might be! I feel like Mason is quite underrated - he's as smart as Stiles and Lydia, super in awe of everything supernatural and he's also quite funny (a scene that comes to mind is when he's about to use his brand new car to break down some wall - can't remember where lol - and Hayden stops him). What do you think?
