Is it Required to Have an Arkanaut Admiral be the general of a Barak-Zilfen List?

Basically see title

I know about the strategy of not taking an Arkanaut Admiral as a leader of your Barak-Zilfen army so you don't have to take their command ability; but for some reason as we were using some recently made list-building app he had installed to do it it insisted that we needed to have an Admiral as the general. I can't find anything corroborating this and a lot of evidence of Zilfen armies without admirals as the leader, and I've even found posts from 3 months ago explicitly saying it's fine...but I figure I may as well ask in case this is something I've genuinely managed to miss.
