A list of puns related to "List of NCAA football records"
The 1939 Texas Tech vs. Centenary football game was an American college football game played between the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Centenary Gentlemen on November 11, 1939, at Centenary College Stadium in Shreveport, Louisiana. In "one of the weirdest games in NCAA History,"torrential downpour and muddy field conditions prevented either Texas Tech or Centenary from advancing the ball by running or passing. To cope with the conditions, both teams resorted to repetitive and immediate punting. Both teams combined to punt 77 times. With each punt, both teams hoped to recover a fumble at the other end of the field.
6 of 14 fumbles were lost, but none of the turnovers led to a score. 42 punts were returned, 19 went out of bounds, 10 were downed, 1 went into the end zone for a touchback, 4 were blocked, and 1 was fair caught. 67 punts (34 by Texas Tech, 33 by Centenary) occurred on first down, including 22 consecutively in the third and fourth quarters. The game ended in a 0β0 tie with Centenary owning a statistical edge with 31 yards of total offense compared with a one-yard loss for Texas Tech.

Wii U comes with gamepad, HDMI, power brick, and gamepad charger, copy of New Super Mario Bros U + New Super Luigi U. I'll toss in ZombiU. It's fairly dinged up which is why I'm just adding it in for free. The gamepad does have a scratch on the upper left of the screen, missing battery cover, and the rubber on the right thumbstick has a pinch. Everything works perfectly and is tested.

I always enjoy looking at lists!
Flexibility to change the post season system: ie BCS in some years and CFP in others
Team Builder within the game with the ability to use the website for custom images and uniforms
More custom chants per school / more distinct crowd members
Weather having a greater effect on the game (Quarterbacks not throwing 60 yard dimes in the rain)
More recruit archetypes. These can come in play style( For QB Pocket Passer, Rpo, triple option, all around) and personality traits (expand on the bonus point system in recruiting with factors like academics, partying, size of fan base etc).

When there are 40 or more televised games in a week, only showing the 15 most recent makes it rather inconvenient to decide what to watch. I basically have to find out what's worth watching online, then search for one of the teams to watch it.
I do really appreciate the option to record all NCAA games, but please fix the UI to make it useful, YTTV team.

Wisconsin has made a bowl game and played in the NCAA Basketball Tournament every academic year since 2002-'03, the longest streak in history. Baylor and North Carolina have the next longest active streak at 4 years.
The only other school to ever have a streak that lasted longer than a decade was Texas (1998-'99 through 2009-'10).

The 2019 NCAA Division I FBS Record Book was released in the past 10 days or so.
I've spent a lot of time over the past few years litigating with people over this annual book's handling of national championship claims, so I'm pretty familiar with it. I noticed something quite odd in this year's addition, however:
Under the section "Consensus National Champions" on page 123, Alabama is listed as co-national champion with Clemson for the 2018 season (Imgur).
Now, allow me to introduce to you all the stupidly complicated ways that this probably is a mistake. But maybe not.
From 1956 to 2013, the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), awarded the Grantland Rice Trophy to its designated champion. Meanwhile, from 1959 to 2013, the National Football Foundation (NFF) awarded the MacArthur Bowl to its national champion. In 2014, the two combined forces to release a weekly poll, the FWAA-NFF Grantland Rice Super 16 Poll. This Poll is released weekly, but only for the regular season. The final Super 16 Poll is released pre-bowl season. The MacArthur Bowl is then awarded by the FWAA-NFF after the CFP Championship to... somebody else. That's not really clear. So far, it has gone to the winner of the CFP every year.
The NCAA treats this Super 16 Poll and the MacArthur Bowl kind of ambiguously. On page 118 of the Record Book, under "Major Selectors Since 1936", there is a heading for the FWAA-NFF Grantland Rice Super 16 Poll, and under it, in smaller letters, it says MacArthur Bowl (Imgur). For each season from 2014 to 2017, the "winner" of the Super 16 Poll, the team listed #1 in the final, pre-bowl rankings, has not won the CFP and has therefore not received the MacArthur Bowl (archives here). So why is the Super 16 mentioned at all if it seems to have no bearing on the FWAA-NFF national champion se
