What a year for Mountain Dew! They released over a dozen new flavors in 2019, and to celebrate, I'm giving away a can of Mountain Dew Violet, a Japanese-exclusive grape-flavored Dew released in April 2019.

Okay. So this may sound odd but my absolute favorite soda ever is Mountain Dew Balck Label. When I found out it was going to be discontinued, I eagerly bought a few 12 pack cases and put them in my closet. I also saved some links of sellers on ebay who had a case or two for sale or even just some affordable loose ones. Today was the first day in a while that I went to look at the places that had been still selling cases. I guess it is finally too long after being discontinued for them to be for sale anywhere other than places like Ebay. This, for some reason, is making me incredibly anxious. I have 5 cases of 12 in my closet (60 cans) but I'm (irrationally?) Panicked by when and why I will eventually drink them. I think I have an emotional attachment to the soda from personal experiences with it (I would get cans as gifts for Christmas and birthdays from friends and family, it's almost like a comfortable food, except I'm fine with having it on occasion rather than all the time). Basically, my rationality was like "oh. I will drink them on special occasions and try to spread them out so I can enjoy them for as long as possible" but I'm also paranoid that I may drink them too quickly or too slow. I have drank expired soda before and I know that it eventually goes flat (it still tastes fine in my opinion, it's just missing the texture soda and is more like juice, also expired soda is usually safe to drink). I don't know how to decide if I should drink them all before they go flat or if I would prefer to have them for longer and just have them be a bit different. THEN I got to thinking if you could RE-carbonate soda because I guess I really am thinking too far into this and was worried that, because there's this odd emotional connection to this soda, I might not like it being flat because it wouldn't be the SAME. Anywho, does anyone know of a VERY similar tasting soda that comes in a can? It doesn't have to be mountain dew. I don't know if substituting it will help with this bizarre dilemma but I might as well try since I'm getting so strangely worked up about it. If not, are there ways to figure out how to replicate the taste so that I might tinker in remaking the same soda at home? I know this sounds ridiculous but it's genuinely distressing to me, probably for some subconscious reason that I have no clue about. Any advice would be nice. Thanks so much :)
My friend is planning on making a nice dinner for his other friends, and he wants to serve various flavors of Mtn Dew and Doritos for fun. But for the sake of fanciness and pretentiousness, he wants to know what flavors of each pair well, similar to pairing fine wines and cheeses

Was reminiscing the other day about all the flavors MD has put out over the years, and I was trying to think of the most underrated one. For me, it has to be Mango Heat Game Fuel. Once I took the first sip, I could not stop. The spice was just right to mix with the sweet tropical mango flavor. But I seriously haven't heard many people talk about it, even when it was in stores.
What's your pick?
It takes soda to a whole new level. It tastes like a fruity explosion went off in your mouth and coated your palate. I can't get enough of it. I drink it as often as I can and it is superior to any other carbonated beverage bar none.
Okay you have to PHYSICALLY buy the Mountain Dew. You don't make them you can only hold an infinite amount of them in your pockets

I considered making a separate higher tier for Diet Dr Pepper Cherry, but honestly I think I've drank it so much in the past 5 years that I tend to intentionally avoid it sometimes in favor of the others in that tier.

Seriously, this has got to stop. First the cherry gamer fuel got ruined, now this recent red white and blue flavor has sucralose too.
It now appears that the 2 new 2017 gamer fuels also seem to have sucralose.
The cherry citrus was my favorite flavor ever and now I can't even drink it anymore.
There are tons of options out there for healthier drinks. We would drink those instead if we wanted to. Please stop trying to make Mountain Dew something that it is not. You are ruining it for your loyal fans.
It was here for like a week and tasted like skittles and then all of a sudden it was gone and I can't find why.
