A list of puns related to "List of Macintosh games"
Hello Iβm looking for the name of my dadβs favorite game which he used to play on a 128k. I donβt remember the name of it but I do remember a little bit about it when he showed it to me. It was a top down game where you played as a wizard or knight (something like that). You would use the mouse to click direction arrows around you to move. Then goto enemies and attack them with weapons from a menu in the top left corner.
Thank you for any help in advance.
I'm looking for an old Mac game ('93-ish) where you were part of a spaceship crew. Most of my memories of the game are incredibly fuzzy.
- Early game had you answering questions about how if you could make decisions under pressure and if you could make choices quickly. I think this impacted what roll you had on the ship.
- There may have been a concern about air quality when you landed on a new world.
- There was no space flight or shooting sections that I can remember.
- It was probably text based with some images.
- I remember it being a choose your own adventure style format.
- At least some images were in colour.
- I died a lot.
- One location showed a close up of the eyes from a stupa

Been trying to figure out what this game was for years and none of the online lists have anything I recognize. Please help!
EDIT: I meant to say graphic adventure / point and click adventure
The game had a dark sci-fi / horror vibe. The aesthetic was like cyberpunk / alien / giger-esque. Green GUI lettering.
The player had to replenish energy bars that gradually depleted at the bottom of the screen. I remember a scary narration from the antagonist that happened pretty early on. The game began in some kind of chamber where tour energy bars were charged up while a narration took place. If you died you were returned to this place and scolded by the narrator as youβre being recharged.
The box itself came with cards of the characters and one of them was a scary bee keeper called something like βthe keeperβ. I never progressed very far because it scared me and was too difficult to figure outs. I wanna say this is between 95-97.
I have a couple of Macintosh SE's running OS 7 and I was wondering if there were a few fun multiplayer titles I could try with them. I'm always having friends over and I thought it would be fun if we could play something fun together. If there aren't any for OS 7, what about OS 9? I do have some G3's as well with OS 9 running. I'd also like to know how I can connect them together to actually play Multiplayer. Hope this isn't too much to ask.
Thank you!
Edit: Wow, thank you all for the answers! I'll definitely try them all!
Iβm trying to remember the name of a cd-rom game for Macintosh that I played as a child (probably around β93-β98) in which you were a scientist (or maybe a journalist) that would travel back in time to something like the Jurassic era or Mesozoic era (there were different options) and you would be tasked with getting a photo of a specific dinosaur. You would wait around in a certain area until that dinosaur came by and hoped you got your timing right to get a good photo of it. You would then go back to the original time period and turn in your dinosaur picture.
I loved this game and Iβve done so much googling and havenβt found anything on this.
**Platform(s): Macintosh Powerbook (?)
**Genre: Unsure
**Estimated year of release: Early 90s
**Graphics/art style: Unknown
**Notable characters: None
**Notable gameplay mechanics: Taking planes from city to city.
**Other details: You were a courier that delivered packages from city to city. The idea was you'd be given an parcel (for example, "The Last Dodo Egg") and have to take it to its destination. You weren't told where that was, just given a clue. You were then given a bunch of tickets, and had to use airlines in each city and get closer to the destination. Some cities, once you landed, would give you another clue, some woul give you more tickets, or another item to deliver. Sometimes you'd try to fly somewhere, only to be turned back by a storm (and thus waste the tickets).
My friend and I used to play this game constantly. It was on her dad's computer, which I am fairly certain was one of the first Powerbooks Apple released in the early 90s. It came up recently in conversation and we realized we couldn't remember what it was called. Her father remembers us playing the game, but he doesn't remember the name of it either. I've poked around a bit in Mac game lists, but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Basically, the title. Also, when I was actually booting my mac for the first time with mojave I had to do go through those start up agreements things. For one of those boxes it gave me the option to carry over any files that I had previously, I donβt know if the wording was just weird or if I was just really rushing because I wanted to play, I completely skipped that process and am now stuck on a default mac with some old icloud stuff from when it wansβt full. CAN I DO ANYTHING?
Does anyone remember an old se30 game...well, I only recall bits and pieces. There was an encounter with Thomas the rhymer, a leprechaun you try to catch, a village idiot, and the old school drm required you to match the time of day or vespers with something from the documentation that came with the disks. There was a lady in the lake...man, it was so long ago. Sorry for making the no sense.
Thanks =)
If not, then maybe she dies?
Trying to find name of old Macintosh Game I remember playing in elementary school back in very early 90's. Can't recall much about it except it was some underground like/mining game. Another thing I recall about is music/graphics that played in between game play when advancing to the next level.
Already tried searching and it's not "Pitfall" or "Gold Digger" (which was very late 90's)
Any help in trying to find the name of this would be great.
**Platform(s):Macintosh
**Genre: Similar to heroes of might and magic, fighting is like street fighter though.
**Estimated year of release: late 80s/early 90s
**Graphics/art style: black and white.
**Notable characters: Japanese theme, either ninja/samurai/shogun, not sure which.
This is my white whale. It's a black and white game I played on an apple macintosh with a heroes of might and magic-style world map, something like nobunaga's ambition/inindo:way of the ninja (not the maps that look like risk, those with paths and forests and individual castles). I very clearly remember a one-on-one fighting mode, something similar to the first street fighter, with a bamboo forest background, and I seem to remember each one of your limbs being mapped to a different key (that sounds really odd though so I might be misremembering this detail).
Sounds annoying as fuck when you have to carry her around everywhere and shes grunting in pain nonstop.
I remember playing this in elementary school. I don't remember the story but I do remember there was a robot that would randomly appear. The robot would show you a random math problem and it was timed. I think you were on a ship in space.
Also, it was a 2D side scroller but the camera didn't follow you. You had to walk to the edge of the screen (left or right) and the camera would go to the next room/screen.
The music for the game was an EXTREMELY catchy tune and I remember it being used as one of those free ringtones on those old Nokia brick phones back in the day. (Not just limited to Nokia's)
Also, I THINK you have a laser gun (maybe purple).
(Not Math Blasters)
Is there a comprehensive list anywhere? For example all of the lists I've found omit Warframe, and yet there's a PS5 version that uses the controller features that I've only just found out about. Most of the PS5 enhanced games aren't in the 'PS5 games' tab on the store.
Is there a full list anyone has found? Thanks.
My school had a computer game on all the Mac desktop computers that featured a fox/foxes as the main characters who would have to collect diamonds/gems before exiting the level. I played this game for sure between 2000-2002 until my computer teacher saw us playing it and removed it from the entire schoolβs system. Snood was another game removed at the time if that gives any additional helpful context.
It was either an 8-bit or 16-bit game and there were occasional boulders that you had to avoid/puzzle out how to get diamonds without things falling on you. The color pallet had a lot of reds/browns/blacks and the gems varied in colors from blues and greens to pinks.
Iβve wracked my brain and Iβve done as much googling as I can think of and still no luck! Any help is appreciated cause itβs driving me crazy!
Thanks!
Anyone have a list or just wanna contribute to this thread? I did a quick search and itβs just Segaβs best games of all times. We all know the Genesis and Dreamcast had great games but what are the best MODERN games from Sega? Say in the last 10 years or so? My vote goes for Yakuza 0 it was easily the most enjoyable game I had on my Xbox One I still enjoy playing it on my Series X and will be buying like a dragon down the line!

I think it was on one of the Macintosh plus or classic, I can't remember, but I know it was big and fat and had that floppy disk drive.
I remember playing a game when I was younger, and I think it was 3d from what I remember, but you controlled this pyramid/triangle ship-thing and either you went around shooting other ships or you just had to maneuver yourself around obstacles.
If this description doesn't make sense because of my lack of memory, is there a place where I can find a list of the games available for these old Mac's? thanks
The first one was first person shooter in which You Had to fight terrorists and free the hostages. In the first map You started outside and You Had to go to other side of map to free the prisoners. What I remember most vividly is that the terrorists wore very bright colours.
Second one is some kind of first-person horror game. You prepared for a fight in a building and then Has to go outside to find a monster formed of mix od leaves. I was very young and afraid do that is all I ever saw.
I understand that these informatorom are scarce but that's all I can provide :(
I owned 2 Macintosh LC II when I was a kid around 1995 and the game I remember was playable both of on black and white monitor and the colored monitor. The game was like a board game, and a kangaroo is one of the playable characters, I remember that it would hop on each round space. Sorry that's all I remember. Thanks for the help!
