SHOCKED RYAN HARTMAN, BRETT RICHIE, CARTER VERHAEGHE, LEIPSIC, BEN HUTTON DIDNT GET QO. Carter Verhaeghe was by far the Bolt's top scorer on AHL team at 23 (turning 24 later this yr) . Ben Hutton is quality 2nd/3rd pair LHD but Gardiner (likely 7x8M) & Myers (Overpay at 7x6.5-7M) are likely going forward their D.

Reminder:

Some teams do this to negotiate lower price with player than what he is owed if re-upped. So I can see a couple below & possibly 3 o 4 of the above having that happen with them. Richie is an underwhelming scorer but good fourth line player with jam. That should be cheaper. Hartman is 20+pt guy who underwhelmed this past yr & contract demands at or above 2.5M might be a deterrent in new unexpectedly low cap year.

What is a qualifying offer?

With many thanks to CapFriendly’s work to break all of this down, here’s what you need to know.

Teams must give qualifying offers to their restricted free agents in order to be able to retain the rights to negotiate with that player for his next contract. The starting point for a qualifying offer is a contract that is one year in length, although the final contract a player signs may be longer in length.

The dollar amount is determined based on a formula involving the player’s current base salary (NHL salary minus any signing bonus) and must at least meat the league minimum for salary:

• 110% of base salary if base is less than or equal to $660,000
• 105% of base salary if base is greater than $660,000 or less than $1,000,000 (the offer itself cannot exceed $1,000,000)
• 100% of base salary if base is greater than or equal to $1,000,000

The deadline to issue a qualifying offer to pending restricted free agents comes down at 4pm today, making any player who has not received one eligible to become an unrestricted free agent. It does not stop them from re-signing with the team for a different amount. Below are the players who will not be issued a qualifying offer:

Too many times I go to add a friend request or play a match with the players I played with last round and I have to search through 150 people. It seems as if it would be pretty simple to have these players show up at the top of the recent players list. Sometimes I may forget their name, not notice their name or just can't seem to find it.

My girlfriend and I have played since the release in July. We are just about done with Pokémon Go due to it becoming less and less enjoyable. These are some simple ideas and improvements that might keep us and most of the community interested in playing. I should mention that first of all this is one hell of a list, and second of all, not every single one of these changes are necessary. Some are suggestions, some are just general improvements that most of the community has been wanting. Most of the suggestions on this list are easy, simple changes that we could have had a long time ago. I hope there's at least a few things on this list that some of you can agree with.

THE List:

-Giving battle winners priority needs to apply to gyms that you are prestiging. I don't see why Niantic finally used this solution that we wanted for months and then only half applied it.

-While prestiging a gym you should be able to see what prestige it is at. It's ridiculous that some dude several blocks away has more information on a gym than the person who is there fighting it. This is definitely an enabler for sniping.

-Reporting users (This might exist already?). Obviously this could be abused, but it could solve a lot of problems if some sort of in-app reporting system was introduced so that we can eventually ban the spoofers. It's getting real old watching a nearby gym build up to lvl 7 in 20 minutes with no one nearby in the below freezing weather.

-Display lure timer, like c'mon, it's such a simple feature to add that we all want. How do we not have this yet?

-Being able to switch pokemon while waiting for the next opponent gym pokemon to switch out. If you barely defeat a pokemon and survive with 1 hp, you should expect to be rewarded with a chance to switch to another pokemon instead of expecting it to be a dead mon walking knowing that it's going to take at least 3 hits before the game recognizes that you clicked to switch it immediately.

-When your pokemon faints in battle you should be able to choose which pokemon is switched to next, or it should at least prioritize ones that aren't weak. So. Many. Revives. All used because the game throws my mons out there like cannon fodder, all while I'm pounding the button to switch to a pokemon at full health.

-When selecting your line up to fight a gym, why not be able to select multiple at once similar to mass transferring pokemon? The mechanic is already there, it wouldn't be difficult to implement and would sa

We were thinking of spamming Eldar flyers and using Guardsmen to grab objectives, but really no clue. How would we find the best synergies between these armies?

In the last few days since the patch removed our report button, I have seen a sharp rise in quitters and trolls. Not sure if it's because people think they can't get reported right now or if maybe I'm just getting a bad sample. But in case you didn't already know, you can go to the "Recently Played" section of your friends list to report players from your last match until the report button gets restored.

I thought this might add a different perspective on what to expect with each pick in the first round. Who is the player in the exact center, with 50% of players above and 50% of players below for each spot? I'm using the formula AV Share / expected AV Share to derive the median player. For more detail on AV Share, I attempt to explain it in this post. This is based on data from 2000-2020 (n=21 for each draft spot).

I would just LOVE an event like that!!
And I think it would be the perfect thing to be done by the guys from the cs_summit - maybe even instead of what they will be doing 3 weeks from now. It would be even the right time to do it, like 2 weeks after the end of the first major of the year.

They could (at least) invite the Top 20 players + the best players of certain categories (like best awpers, best pistol players, guys with best movement...).
These players would then compete in different disciplines, like

• best awpers on an awp_map (maybe a 1v1 tournament)
• guys with best movement race on a kz_map
• (maybe you guys have better/more ideas)

At the end of the event there would be the official CS:GO All-Star Game, where the top 10 players of the year play a match on a new/fun map, like de_santorini, de_tuscan or even de_canals.
