List of Code Geass episodes Puns

I won't write a long wall-text to express how amazing this series is. there is nothing I can say that hasn't been say before.

I watched Code Geass when it first came out. I didn't have anyone to share the excitement every episode brought much less to discuss the archs( I didn't know what an anime forums were until couple years ago).

10 years from the first episode, watching it by myself, to now married with two kids.
We all sat and watched every episode and discuss it. The last two episodes were an emotional rollercoaster.

After 10 years or so, this anime holds very well.

Someone asked the same question a long time ago but all the links were broken

Right after the second compilation film has debuted in Japanese theaters, new information has gradually started to arrive. Not all of this is fully confirmed yet, but most of it is.

1. About the movie:

The film is primarily focused on Suzaku's perspective.

It begins after Suzaku became Euphemia's knight in S1 and ends just before R2 episode 17.

Updated: Because Mao doesn't exist here, apparently Lelouch found out about Suzaku killing his dad when they both interacted with C.C. during the Narita battle in the first film.

New scenes involving Gawain in action, which in this version of the story had been apparently taken by India off-screen.

Instead of the scene where we first see Gawain, it is Mordred that shows up in Shikine Island. The events on the isle take up much less time and they don't go to the Kamine Island later.

Updated: No invasion attempt by Chinese forces, so no team up between Lelouch and Suzaku.

Updated: The school festival with the giant pizza still happens, briefly, with Nina's crush on Euphy being implied in this version due to an award she received from the princess in the past (there are photos of Nina's reaction at that event).

Euphemia fate is unchanged, overall, though there are bits of new footage in the sequence (and at the festival, where she meets Lelouch). Suzaku's anger is shown in even more detail.

Updated: When Kallen reveals herself to the other students during the Black Rebellion, Shirley figures out that Lelouch might be one of the Black Knights (but not specifically Zero, it seems).

New scenes showing the failure of the Black Rebellion, including how Kaguya and Kallen reacted.

Nina doesn't try to blow up the school in Ganymede.

We apparently learn Rolo's real name during a new scene between him and Suzaku that references the last scene of Akito (for those who didn't watch Akito, it was a brief epilogue of Rolo picking Lelouch and Suzaku) .

Updated: In addition to Rolo, another new scene has Suzaku also meet Villetta, plus being introduced to his fellow Knights of the Round.

A new scene where Nunnally gets to talk to Charles.

Massive cuts to the first half of R2, including the China arc (One Million Zeroes is also cut) and most of the school scenes. We don't see Lelouch getting his memories back nor his recruiting Rolo, nor does Suzaku go back to the school for the phone call trick.

Updated: There is a long new scene of the Lancelot Conquista in action, including the spinkick.

Kallen is captured off-scr

So most people find this show kind of pretentious and think that lelouch isn't actually smart-- while this may not prove them wrong, it does show a lot about his skill in chess.

In the first episode (or at least the movie remake) there's a noble playing chess against some commoner. Lelouch takes over the position. If you notice, there's actually a shot of the board.

Now, most people find it a bit silly/stupid that lelouch led with the king-- they think he only made the move for the line 'how can you expect your men to follow if the king doesn't lead the charge?' or however he said it. HOWEVER

I took the board and recreated it in Lichess's board editor.

Now, stockfish-- the world strongest (or at least damn near close to the strongest) chess A.I. in the world is the one reviewing the game with me here. (Lichess has stockfish built into their website.)

If you take another look at the picture, what do you notice is the move Stockfish recommends? BAM. Moving the king one space to the right.

Black gets a checkmate on white in about 8 moves. Makes sense why it would only take lelouch 9 minutes-- even if his opponent stalled out, it was checkmate in 8 with 20 seconds a piece! He could have won in 3 minutes if he really wanted to :x

Holy shit, Netflix.

A lot of people suggested Code Geass and I've seen a lot of good reviews about it, so I tried watching the first 2 episodes. So far, I don't find myself hooked with the series, but I was wondering if it gets good later on in the show? To be honest, I'm not really picky when it comes to the theme of the anime as long as it's good, but I'm not really that fond of mecha animes (though I've already watched a mecha anime). I'm not hating on the show tho, I'm just wondering on whether I could still appreciate the show even without being fond of mecha animes, and whether it becomes better over the course of the show.

Not the ending, the song that plays when Lelouch Is at the door with Karen and whatever his name was (excuse my bad memory)
