A list of puns related to "List of BoJack Horseman characters"
While searching for a tier list, I found that none were truly inclusive of a lot of significant characters while also including irrelevant fluff. Others were simply outdated. So I made my own!
This is a comprehensive tier list of every significant character in the series from all six seasons.
If there any I'm missing, let me know. Attached is also my own tier list, don't kill me for it. I ranked them based on personal enjoyment and quality of writing, with considerations for how long they were in the show and their overall impact. Happy ranking!

Hello everyone. Here is a strange request, moreso because I am kind of a in a rabbit hole reading up on tragic stories where happy endings are rare to find.
To explain a bit, I would like to know which tabletop rpg have a main focus where the players play characters who are hopeless cases and fall constantly in their own vices (like drinking, gambling, and so on) even though they try to stray from it to try to better their life but constantly fail. Or even perhaps where the characters start as shining examples of humanity but fall on the wayside and is slowly deccaying as the story continues.
Perhaps they're their own worst enemies.
I personally find these tragic stories the most interesting and would like to know which trpg ones supports this the most.
Except BoJack, just to make the discussion more interesting. I'm curious, do you know a real life Princess Caroline, Charlie witherspoon, Todd etc. What stories do you have about them?
best character in the show??

Bojack Horseman is by far my favorite show. It's my favorite by a pretty wide margin. I would say below that, I don't really have a numbered list of the shows that I like in order. I've compiled a list of shows that are firmly in this unordered list of favorites that I enjoy in a way similar to the ways I enjoy Bojack to share with you here. Some of them are very popular, some of them not so much.
This isn't a list of all of my favorite shows, just shows that give off that Bojack-kinda vibe. Some being witty, some having a focus on depression, some being surreal, most are a combination of these things. Basically if you like Bojack, I assume you'd also enjoy the shows on this list.
I wanted to share this in hopes that I can help some of you find some new favorite shows, and get some recommendations to add here from this community since I have to assume everyone on this sub has reasonably similar taste in TV.
Dark comedies with themes of depression or addiction:
(unintentionally, they're all female protagonists)
personally mine is mr peanutbutter. im not 100% the reason why i dislike him so much but something about how overly happy and enthusiastic he is rubs me the wrong way.
Personally I love the running joke in the Netflix show Bojack Horseman where an overly long and specific phrase is repeated in its entirety everytime a character says it instead of those characters using a shorter and easier to say version of that phrase.
BoJack horseman is a bad person, he tries his best which will never be enough. He tries to fulfill his empty promises and his broken heart with alcohol, meaningless sex, and drugs. These things never work when he wakes up (sober) and when he comes back to his life, it's all the same. BoJack is a deeply depressed person with constant trauma from every second of his life, no one understands nor knows who BoJack really is because... he doesn't know it either, he doesn't know who he is, who to be or what to present as, BoJack is a terrible person but compared to what he could've been, he's the best person. He was born with terrible parents, terrible friends, terrible connections and lastly and probably the most important, bad decisions. BoJack is bad, but it's not his fault, he tries his best. BoJack is.. BoJack is a person, a troubled person.
I want a show where it has character or characters who are immature or reckless, in relationships or anything and they go through transition of getting mature or growing up and changing themselves.
First of all, this list will only include the main five (Bojack, Mr PeanutButter, Princess Carolyne, Diane and Todd). So I'll not be talking about Herb, Wanda, Sarah Lynn, Charlotte and etcetera. Also i will talk about the characters during the whole series, and not just in the end
Let's start with the horseman itself, Bojack. Bojack is easily the less emotionally mature one. We have episodes like "That's Too Much, Man!", when instead of dealing with the sadness of not being nominated to the Oscar, he just call Sarah Lynn to do their drug thing. In season 4, Bojack actually gets more mature, but that's all f*cked up in the next season.
The episode "Good Damage" show how emotionally immature Diane is, or her not wanting to share her therapist with Bojack, those two examples shows how emotionally immature Diane, and i have some more. For me, it seems like Diane only sees her POV, she also have some clear anger issues.
Princess Carolyne is definitely the more mature out of the main cast, she's responsible, organized and put her shit together. But, we can't say she's 100% mature, since her emotional maturity is lacking. PC is always trying to fix others problems, she's like the mommy of the group. Doing this, she can't help and fix herself. She's also really professional, to the point that she became a workaholic.
Mr PeanutButter is the most easy one to look at, and he's emotionally immaturity made me realize Todd emotionally maturity. Mr PeanutButter constantly ignores the bad things in life, and focus on the good. The best example for this is the episode "Hollywoo Stars and Celebrities: What Do They Know? Do They Know Things?? Let's Find Out!", in this episode he talks about how he isn't stupid, and he knows Bojack doesn't like him. Some may argue that Mr PeanutButter is emotionally mature because he can see the good of things, but i disagree. An emotionally mature person would see the good and the bad, not just one like Mr PeanutButter does.
Todd may seem like the most immature one, however, i disagree. Todd knows how to put differences asides and move on. Examples of Todd being emotionally mature are when he cut off everything with Bojack, and he's the first one of the main cast to do so, the others took to long. Todd also noticed his differences with Yolanda, and the fact that both are asexuals, isn't enough for them to date. Todd is someone that can analyze the situation, from both sides and see the good and bad points of it. Unlike all the other ch
