... keep reading on reddit β‘Hi - to keep this brief, I usually upload the old Production Notes from Doctor Who Magazine but there was a comment on the subreddit recently asking if the below interview from DWM in lockdown time last year - where RTD and Moffat interview each other - has been uploaded or transcribed anywhere.
It turned out that it hadn't so as a one off (and it's very likely going to be a one off, I should make that clear), by special request (and considering it contained potentially relevant information, given that RTD was announced to be coming back), I volunteered to do it. Hope you enjoy!
Also, the latest edition of Doctor Who Magazine is on sale now, previewing the final episodes of Series 13. Old Production Notes posting will resume shortly.
Extraordinary times call for an extraordinary feature. Former showrunners Russell T Davies and Steven Moffat have been interviewed many times... but never by each other. Russell was enthused by our idea, so sent Steven an email. Then Steven sent one back. "We answered each other's questions," says Russell. "And now and then it got a bit conversation-y..."
STEVEN: After you were offered the job of showrunner, I know you took a while to say yes (as I did). What was the point when you knew you were going to do it? Not necessarily when you admitted that to the Beeb or whatever - just when you knew. You career was stellar, Doctor Who was not a respected brand - what was the OH I JUST HAVE TO like?
RUSSELL: It was Julie. When Julie Gardner was made Head of Drama at BBC Wales. Before that, I'd had very strong doubts. It's hard to understand from outside the industry, but for a freelancer to go from the independent sector to in-house BBC is unheard of. And let's be honest, for very successful freelancers, like you, me and Chris Chibnall... never! I've been trying to think of another show where that happens. It's just not done. It means ceding control and authorship and copyright to a higher power. It's a career in reverse. And I had massive doubts about working within the BBC, because everyone said it was full of censorship, restrictions and red tape. But then I was on holiday in France in 2003, and Julie phoned me up to say she'd got the BBC Wales job. She told me: "Jane Tranter [Controller of Drama Commissioning] said I could have Doctor Who and we'd make it in Wales." And that was it. Click. I'm in. Away from London, with Julie. Perfect. I knew she could handle the BBC side of it. And I was right - w
... keep reading on reddit β‘I see most people classifying her as ESTP. Fairplay, as well as others, said she hardly talked in Pearl Islands though, especially at the beginning. Even the other three seasons I don't think of her as very extroverted. Denise said that she basically refused to engage in any small talk in winners at war, HvV she seemed to not be much of a talker.
Even on IOTI, it seemed like Rob did most of the talking.
I would also say that she's also moreso a feeling type than thinking (despite the fact I think she really wants to be thinking). Most of her game decisions were personal though tbh. She wanted Trish out because she was mad he was turning on his ally, she poured out the fish because her feelings were so hurt by them getting rid of Rupert. She targeted Russell because of the fact she hated him so much, she targeted Amber because she was personally mad at Rob, etc.
She also said post-season that she gave Denise the idol because she liked her as a person outside of the game.
https://robhasawebsite.com/myers-briggs-survivor-lindsey-hresko/ This is what Rob said
Another one that immediately caught my eye is I think of Jenna Morasca as an extrovery for sure. She was very introverted in All Stars but that was because of her mom. In Amazon though, she was always talking it seemed like, which I think is what her real personality is like.
Also, poor Amber seemed to have a breakdown each time the plan changed/she was blindsided in AO or WAW so I would definately put her in the judging category (as hating spontaneity/moving parts).
There are more I'm not sure I agree with but those are three that really stood out to me
Saw this as a comment on another thread and did some research. Every other season after China had at least 1 elimination not due to a traditional majority vote-out at tribal council.

... keep reading on reddit β‘When things go badly, it's human instinct to find someone to blame.
Two seasons ago, the L.A. Clippers choked away a 3-1 lead against the Denver Nuggets. The franchise didn't vilify its stars, and instead found a scapegoat in coach Doc Rivers. Deserved or not (mostly deserved), he became the sacrificial lamb.
One season later, Doc Rivers wasn't about to let that happen again. When his new team wilted against Atlanta, he called out βnot it!β and pointed a finger to Ben Simmons. Most likely, Simmons will be moved soon.
With that in mind, we're going to look ahead at potential scapegoats for this upcoming season. We're going to list the most likely scapegoat for each of the projected top teams only. After all, if you're going to disappoint, you need to have fairly high expectations going in. Weβll rank the teams based on preseason over/unders, although for most that disappointment will need to come in the playoffs.
BROOKLYN NETS, over/under: 55.5
It's title or bust in Brooklyn, which usually would put a coach like Steve Nash on the hot seat. But with all due respect, I don't think the Nets actually expect Coach Nash to do much "coaching." This super team is a concoction spearheaded by Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, and it'll be on them to deliver.
Among the two, Irving is obviously on thinner ice. He's often injured -- often distracting. His stance on COVID isn't a one-off; it's another indication that Irving may not have his head in the game to the degree that other superstars do. He's already won a title (and not gotten a huge amount of credit for it), so not much would change here as he's become the third banana in Brooklyn. He may have grander plans in mind than basketball -- traveling the non-globe and spreading the Gospel of Gobbledygook.
If Irving actually misses home games, the team may move on sooner than later. But it wouldn't necessarily take that major step. If Irving misses boatloads of games with injury or mental vacation time, then Durant and company may get frustrated enough to wash their hands clean and trade him for a star with more grit this next offseason. While Irving could threaten to retire if that's the case, he'd be sacrificing a huge amount of money in the process. He's 29 years old, and could easily have another $100M in career earnings ahead of him.
MILWAUKEE BUCKS, over/under: 54.5
The Milwaukee Bucks are riding the good vibes of their title run -- and that honeymoon should last a while. Even i
... keep reading on reddit β‘My guesses are below. If there's anything to add or change, let me know.
Borneo: BB, still 6-2. Ramona was already sick, and I don't see how Greg would vote differently than before. Gretchen also said in her OZ interview BB would go first.
AO: Kel, still 7-1. Mitchell's said from past to present it would've been him, and the BTS post on here said Jerri said he was targeted for holding them up at the airport. Also, Kel was already antisocial.
Africa: I know the Mall Rats vote for Linda, since they didn't know about Carl's lack of nature knowledge. I don't know for sure who the old people vote for. I know not Silas, but the other three's names have come up.
Marquesas: Kathy, 7-1. John said in his AMA that Kathy was out first. Paschal/Neleh were a pair and basically a numbers extension for the core alliance, and Gabe was actually among the highest members of said alliance with Tammy and John.
Thailand: Still Jed, 5-3. Shii Ann said it was his idea to go after her.
Amazon: Still Janet, but probably 7-1 now. Apparently Deena hinted to it somewhere.
PI: Sandra, 7-1, if they lost E1 or E2. Burton and Jon said she was antisocial and unproductive around camp. E3 was when Jon and Trish led the "second half" movement against the stronger men.
ASS: Probably still Cesternino 5-1 for Chapera. Not a lot to go off of. As for Mogo Mogo, either Rich or Morasca; both likely 5-1. Lex's AMA said all of the non-winners made a pre-game pact to eliminate the winners.
Vanuatu: Twila, 5-4. She, Scout, Ami, and Leann would vote Eliza.
Palau: Still Willard, 8-1. He was always going to be voted off this way. This was why Jonathan was cut; Caryn wanted a shield.
Guatemala: Lydia, 6-3. Brian's Dom and Colin appearance said he, her, and Jamie were in the minority since the others formed an alliance during the hike. The three hit it off really well.
Panama: Viveros is easy; Nick 3-1, since he'd have volunteered to go first over guilt of getting them lost to camp. The rest aren't so easy. Probably Shane 3-1 for La Mina and Misty 3-1 for Bayonetta, but who knows.
CI: Billy was still going 4-1, and Cao Boi and Flicka each going 4-1 makes a lot of sense as well; all three appeared to be on the bottom of their respective tribes.
Fiji: Lilliana, likely the same margin as before with Gary likely in the majority. Lisi, Stacy, Boo, Alex, and Edgardo were in a five person alliance, and Lilliana wanted to join. However, what wasn't shown were a builders alliance and an ex

We all expected that Minnesota exec Gerrson Rosas may have been on the hot seat this season, although his premature ejection surprised a lot of onlookers.
For Rosas, it was partly a matter of extracurricular / extramarital activities, but also his inability to cobble together a cohesive roster. He made a few nice moves (like trading for Malik Beasley), but also some notable blunders (like trading up to draft Jarrett Culver). The fact that a new ownership group took charge also made it difficult for Rosas to feel comfortable.
Who may be next? Let's ask our ol' buddy Karen for her picks and her complaints.
candidate: Koby Altman (GM), Cleveland Cavaliers
Karen's complaint:
Young Koby Altman inherited a difficult situation in Cleveland on the tail end of LeBron James + Kyrie Irving's divorce. Still, it's fair to wonder how good of a job he's done in the rebuild since.
The biggest whiff made by Altman and the front office (notably assistant GM Mike Gansey) was poaching college coach John Beilein. That was a big splash hire -- and it went as well as a belly flop. In fact, Beilein flopped so badly that he didn't even last a full season. In his place, the Cavs promoted J.B. Bickerstaff, but it's still unclear whether he's a placeholder or the long-term answer.
There's no doubt that the roster has some talented pieces, but the question mark about their "fit" still remains. Darius Garland is talented, but he doesn't fit like a glove next to another scoring guard in Collin Sexton. New pick Evan Mobley has All-Star potential, but it's unclear if he'll be able to play alongside Jarrett Allen (whom the team traded for and gave a hefty contract.) In an NBA landscape that priorities wing play and switchable "medium-ball," the Cavs have an odd collection of bigs and smalls. Adding 7-footer Lauri Markkanen didn't exactly plug that hole either.
Expectations aren't high in Cleveland, but they're at least higher. Their over/under is about 27 wins, and I expect that Altman and Bickerstaff need to get closer to 30 to keep their jobs. While Cleveland doesn't have a great reputation as a franchise, the combination of the young talent + rich owner could be an appealing one for a new coach + GM combination. odds of a pink slip: 35%
candidate: Tommy Sheppard (GM), Washington Wizards
Karen's complaint:
Koby Altman inherited a toug

NOVEMBER 15TH
RHOM, S2E11, 2012 - ONLY AIRED FOUR DAYS AFTER THE LAST EPISODE
Karent (BOOOOOO!) is having a dinner party, hosted at Thomas Kramer's house (this guy is a douchebag!) and invited all the women. She and her mother arrive early to prep and cook dinner. The other ladies arrive without conflict, and then the rumours begin, with the housewives thinking that she must be sleeping with Thomas in order to be allowed to use his place to host. I always kinda thought Kim slept with him for the house in Miami in the early seasons of Atlanta, and he's remained a creep. Some say even if she isn't sleeping with him, and only hangs out with him and uses him for his status and prestige.
Thomas asks if Romaine is cheating on Joanna, due to their lack of sexual intercourse, and Joanna gets quite upset by this. The attention is soon taken off of her though when the women talk about their issues with Marysol and Thomas tells Ana to shut up and stop bringing drama and to have fun. She refuses and keeps talking, and he rings a bell. He tells her to act like a guest and not an owner, then tells her to have appreciation. He then changes his attention to Lenny and Lisa and makes a joke about him doing breast implants and getting Lisa's chest into her dress. Ana asks if anyone can spell the word "misogynist", and walks out. Most of the ladies follow her, but Joanna and the others stay to fix things up.
Lea defends Thomas, and Elsa tells her to sit down, simmer, and stop talking. Thomas tells Elsa that even though she is "nearing her expiration date", she needs to shut up and that she needs to "act like a lady if [she] wants treatment like one." She leaves and although everyone is like "wtf just happened" they stay with the loser anyways!
RHOA, S8E2, 2015
We meet Kim Fields in this episode, and how things change in one season because we are introduced to her by Kenya. Under the guise of a "collaboration", Kenya meets with KF and they act like best friends that are reconnecting. Kenya says that Hollywood has been good to them - and KF is like... huh? Us? Much kinder to KF than to Kenya, lol.
Lauren, Porsha's sister, announces her pregnancy to her, and Porsha responds with how awkward it is that she's pregnant before her, and blames it for the reason Lauren isn't into Duke, Porsha's new boyfriend of the month.
